Private Transfer From Fiumicino Or Ciampino Airport To Rome

We pre-booked a shuttle transfer from accommodation to Rome Ciampino Airport. On the day of transfer, 10 minutes before pick up we advised via WhatsApp that we were ready and waiting outside. We then kept messaging with them back and forth having been told that the driver was on his way. The driver did not show. They sent a local taxi to collect us, and it arrived 25 minutes after our pre-booked pick-up time. We had used Airport Shuttle Italy once before and submitted to them a 5 out of 5 feedback review in their link for their website. I asked repeatedly for a feedback review link for this Rome booking that was repeatedly ignored as they never replied to any of my emails. They are not as professional as they make out to be.

Never turned up and claimed we had picked the wrong option when the pick up and drop off locations were clearly provided on the drop down menu.

We booked a VIATOR Transfer from Fiumicino Italy. We were stranded for over an hour!! Not speaking Italian made it extremely challenging. There was no Kiosk for VIATOR at the airport, we found a kiosk from another company and I asked if she spoke English which she did! the young woman rolled her eyes when i told her what happened, she called them and spoke to someone at Viator, who told her to have us wait and someone would pick us up shortly. 30 minutes later this man shows up looking totally dishevelled, not well groomed, looked like he rolled out of bed and the car was a mess. we had paid a pretty penny for the fare so we got in the car and took us to our Hotel. My husband being the nice guy he is tipped him. I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THEM FOR TRANSPORTATION AGAIN!!

This experience involves an attempted trip on Airport Shuttle Italy on October 15th from Rome to Fumacino Airport. After submitting a request for an earlier pickup in Rome, (receipt of which was acknowledged by a reply email) a car finally showed up 5 minutes after my originally scheduled time. I had already left in an Uber by that time, and told the driver that when she called me. She was not aware of my request for the early pickup. Soon thereafter I received notification that I had been charged for the trip, with no further acknowledgement of my earlier request. One of the main problems here is the company's sloppy communications. Having received my request almost three hours before the scheduled pick up, they did not follow up with a confirmation or rejection of that request. I tried emailing and calling them several times to check on the status but they never responded. I strongly recommend that travellers ignore ASI's false claims of excellent service, look elsewhere for reliable airport service in Rome.

We were so worried about getting to the Airport in a timely manner. Our driver was prompt and ready to take us to the Airport at the designated time. He was a good driver and I would highly recommend this service.

Horrible experience. They arrived at the airport at 9am and said they waited an hour but our flight landed at 9:39 am so no driver, no refund and Trip Advisor(who owns the website Viator which we booked the shuttle through)has given no assistance. Why is it our fault that they didn't check to see our flight was arriving late?

Never use this service! I made a reservation for a transfer from Ciampino Airport to the center of Rome, after which I received a confirmation number. But when we arrived at the airport and looked for our driver, we realized that no one was waiting for us. Our attempts to contact an operator from the company have been unsuccessful. We had to get another taxi to the hotel, and in the meantime I wrote an email to the company saying there was no one of their drivers to make our transfer. The reply we received was that they do not have a fleet or suppliers working on this route. This response is inadequate given that we have confirmation of a transfer for this particular route.

Driver never showed up to airport. Could only get recording for an hour on all 3 numbers listed on my receipt (pd in full). Finally got someone who told me they didn't know what happened to my driver and to take a taxi!

Our flight was over an hour late. As soon as we went out to meet our driver, he was there waiting. He provided excellent service in getting us to our hotel. On the morning of our return flight, he was there, on time and ready.

Our van to the airport was on time, well driven, and got us there safely and quickly. What else can you ask for? I’d definitely use this service again.

I was worried about a significant delay because ride was shared with another party. There was no problem. Saved 30 Euros.

<p>It was really nice to have a car waiting for us at the airport exit to take us to our airbnb. He was polite and courteous and we relaxed and enjoyed the ride.</p>

We arrived in Fiumicino Rome airport and went to the designated pick up spot. There was no one there with a card with our name as promised. After waiting for over half an hour I sent a text and received a call telling me to go to a different location. I went there and could not find them. We finally met up and he was surprised there were two of us. He said he had another couple as well. We went to the vehicle to find out it was a town car and would not accommodate all of our luggage. He said he only had me down for one on the reservation. I showed him my confirmation that had it for two. The other couple only had one bag and we still did not fit it all in (we had two large and two small bags), until he had me sit down and placed my 49 pound bag on my lap for the 30 minute trip. There was no offer to compensate us for the problem.

Have booked this service on the Internet. Immediately after landing in Rome, we were personally called by the driver and he told us that he was stuck in traffic and that he was coming ten minutes later because of it. A meeting point was identified from which he later reliably picked us up. On the way there was a bit of small talk in English and so the ride was very pleasant. Right in front of the hotel we were dropped off. All in all a successful promotion, especially at night highly recommended as not all public transport runs and thus a longer queue at the taxi rank is to be accepted. By the way, this service is not more expensive than taxis at the airport.
