This tour was very informative and a good way to get a feel of Rome. Gabriele was very flexible and knowledgeable.

Largo di Torre Argentina is a square in the centre of Rome with the remains of four temples and the ancient Curia and Theatre of Pompey.
One of the most (if not the most) beautiful and lively roman squares, with the famous Bernini river fountains, wonderful churches and monuments and moreover endless coffee places and restaurants.

Francesca is a very communicative guide, and makes us feel confortabe from the beginning. We had a great time in Trastevere with her, and saw things we would never have noticed on our own. She has an academic background in art, which makes a lot of difference. I would recommend Francesca to a friend.
This was my first time visiting Rome. Francesca tailored my tour to what I wanted to see as I only had a short time in the city. Her knowledge was second to none and this made the experience so much better. After the end of the tour she recommended a bar where I could get something to eat, and she even helped me with suggestions for where to go afterwards. I would definitely book with Francesca again.
It was very nice and insightful. Our guide was fabulous. I did think it was a 2 hour tour and not a one hour one. But it’s fine.
We had a lovely stroll with Paola through some areas of Rome that we were not familiar with. She was very knowledgeable with her history as she pointed out interesting things along our walk. I would definitely recommend a tour with her.
I recommend this, especially for your first or second or… trip to Rome. Daniele met us and familiarized us with areas of the city, gave us local tips and recommendations to experience a more local vibe. He gave us lots of history, interjected humor and helped us get our bearings day one. This is a perfect way to start your stay in this city!
We strolled in different areas of interest in Rome , my tour guide Sara was wonderful.she was very knowledgeable and helpful, she gave me a full historical description of all the historical sites we visited . I think this tour is highly recommendable .
10/10. Excellent experience. It was wonderful from start to finish. Thank you very much for everything!
Manuela was fantastic! She was such a pleasure to have and her tour was so rich in history, we enjoyed every minute. I highly recommend, thank you Manuela!
Everything was great. The weather (end Oct), scenaries, history, conversations, food, culture, walking pace, most of all a nice and friendly guide Paola. Just the kind of half day walking tour I was looking for. Praise God.
We enjoyed our guide so much. Manuela was so full of knowledge! She took us to some fabulous places. This was the kickstart tour. We had just arrived that morning.
It was great to tag along with Paola as she showed the five of us (family of three, uncle, and cousin) her local perspectives of Rome historical center. Leaving us tips to discover the bucket-list sights for ourselves and at our own convenience, Paola shepherded us through those parallel streets and alleys that were blissfully empty of Rome’s tourist maelstrom. Peppering the conversation with historic trivia, pointing out traditional hangouts and sharing with us her childhood stops for coffee, tramezinno sandwiches and fruttolo fruit shakes. All of us are looking forward to discover another district of Rome during a future walk with Paola!
Gabriele was very knowledgeable and an absolute fun time! He has a great knowledge of his city and its historic background. He paced our walking tour to suit us and we never felt rushed! He pointed out locations along the way of how the streets got their name and we found it fascinating! He has a love for Rome and it shows! We highly recommend Gabriele for the tour and if are looking for history, entertainment and great conversation book with him, he was absolutely wonderful!!!!! Michelle & Rob
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Simone. He walked us around Travestere and the Jewish Ghetto. We learned so much about the historical events and monuments in the areas. We also asked him to show us great places to eat and shop, which he did! It was the perfect mix for our family since we have 13 and 17 year olds. They really enjoyed the tour too. Simone was wonderful and we would definitely do another tour with him!
Paola was nothing short of fantastic. My family and I learned so much about the history of Rome and we were shown places of the city that I do not think we would have ever seen without Paola's guidance. Paola was very energetic and you could tell she enjoyed sharing her knowledge of the the great city of Rome. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
Paola was a joy! She started our tour with a little surprise and showed us all around downtown Rome. Great insights of where to go, what to see, and the history of the area. Brought us to see a Raphael fresco we never would have found. She also showed us many beautiful side streets that we returned to for photos after. I highly recommend her. Thanks a lot, Paola!
Wonderful short and informative tour with Paola. She was amazing, attentive to details and very informative. We would definitely recommend this trip as you start your trip in Rome.
Manuela was very professional and accommodating as our plane was late, so we appreciated starting the tour 30 minutes later, and her great communications. Also allowed us to stop for gelato too! And provided some flexibility on the introductory tour.
It’s was like exploring Rome with our Italian cousin! Gabriele explained the local history and culture of the city as he showed us both well known and lesser known sites. We learned things we would not have read about in a guidebook or found ourselves, Ask him about looking for Mary!
We had a terrific time and the tour was exceptionally planned. Our host/guide, Eugene was a joy and very knowledgeable about when, where, and how we should go. Highly rated.
Gabriele was so fantastic. He showed us some interesting things and was really good at helping us understand the Italian language. He is very smart and the entire tour was fun. I would highly recommend this and Gabriele in particular was really good!
Simone is a great guy! So easy to listen to , we felt at ease as soon as we met him. Starting at Trastevere, he took us around the hidden gems of Rome - away from the main attractions like the Colleseum. This was a personal tour with many facts and information.Knowing our love for football he even adapted his route to take us to the Roma shop! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. We had 1.5 hours which was perfect time for us. Although we could have easily toured with him all day! Thank you Simone!
Less than 6 hours after landing in Rome, we met our guide and were off and running. Well, strolling with a new friend might be more accurate. Simone was a last minute substitute for our planned guide, who came down with bronchitis. Nonetheless, he did exactly what we hoped for--a general introduction and orientation to Rome, especially in the areas closest to our hotel--Trastevere, the Jewish neighborhood, and Campo de' Fiori. His "patter" ranged comfortably from historical background to food and restaurant recommendations, all the while putting us at ease as first-time (and travel-weary) visitors to Rome.
Stefan is wonderful — period. This multi-lingual man loves Rome and it shows. His knowledge of the lost and little facts of this complex city equals or exceeds the big and publicly known history. We traveled by foot at a quick pace and everywhere we went, he was greeted warmly. He extended our planned time and we tipped accordingly. Stefan is a jewel. (Oh, by the way, he’s a surgeon when he’s not a guide. Crazy, huh?). Hire him, you won’t regret it.
Man, Gabriele was a real treat! Super knowledgeable and entertaining. We definitely got our bearings in Rome and left with a new friend! Highly recommended for sure 🙂
Eleanora gave us a fun and informative tour. Her friendly manner immediately but us at ease and it felt like we were exploring Rome with a friend. She picked up on our special interests (architecture and history) and showed us places and sites we wouldn’t have found on our own. We toured with Eleanora on our 1st full day in Rome, and it really helped us get oriented to the city. Highly recommend!
We arrived in Rome just a few hours prior to our kickstart tour with Leonardo. It was the perfect way to start our 5 day adventure! The meeting place was easy to find and Leonardo was quick to correspond via text messages. He showed us a few wonderful sights nearby in the Trastevere neighborhood that we would have overlooked had we been on our own. And then we continued on across the bridge to other sights and beautiful piazza’s as he shared his local knowledge and love of his beautiful city. I would highly recommend a kickstart tour with Leonardo!
Francesco met us on time and his English was very good. The walking pace was brisk but enjoyable. His knowledge of the area was excellent, as expected, both in terms of Big Picture facts and interesting Trivia. It was very much like meeting a Roman cousin for the first time and having him show you his city. His lunch suggestion was dead-on and delicious. I definitely recommend his to anyone 100%.
Guide very enthusiastic. Got to see an are we would not have gone to on our own. She helped with suggestions for remaking days in Rome.
We spent our first afternoon in Rome exploring with Paola. We had a terrific time. Paola is so enthusiastic about the city and passionate about sharing all of her knowledge. We saw so much in such a short time, much of which we wouldn’t have appreciated without Paola’s kind guidance. She showed us so many of the small details, along with some iconic sites, which really made the city come alive. Thanks so much Paola for sharing your love of the city with us.
Alina is a very friendly and knowledgeable guide! We truly enjoyed her company in addition to the insight she shared about the city. We also appreciated her adaptability, as we were a few minutes late for our tour. My husband and I highly recommend Alina!!
Stefan is the man. If you want a great kickstart to your trip to Rome Stefan is the man to do it. Best espresso spot? Done. Best Gellato? Done. Best Apertivo? Done. History and Culture? Done.
I truly enjoyed this experience. Paola took me all along Trastevere and through the Jewish Ghetto, she showed me places that I would have otherwise missed. She made some excellent recommendations, as well. She’s knowledgeable and passionate about her city. As a solo traveler, I felt as I was walking with a friend! I highly recommend Paola. Next time I visit Rome, hopefully soon, I will be scheduling a tour with her. Grazie, Paola!
Alina was really great! She was helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. She gave me a lot of local tips, history lessons, showed me the best way how to get around and answered any of my questions. I could not asked for a better tour guide. Big recommendation from me!
We have had a funny, interactive and informative tour with Simone, who is raised in Rome and has shared with us his wide knowledge on Rome. Either you would like to listen to history & fun facts about the city of Rome and also restaurant tips, he is definitely the one! Recommendation: if you would like to know more about the historical sides of Rome and look for a tour guide, invest a longer tour with Simone and he can surely bring you some insights :)
Serena was a great host easy and informative and would recommend her highly.. She brought us to areas we would never have seen
Serena was really awesome and we enjoyed our little intro to Trastevere and the Jewish Ghetto. She gave us a bunch of food recommendations and secret spots to go that we’re romantic and where we could get awesome pictures.
Took the 90 minute kickstart tour. Daniele was great, fun to be with and gave wonderfull suggestions
A truely lovely evening. Manuela met us at the agreed time and checked what we wanted to see. We had a great hour and a half learning all about Rome. It was all I hoped for. Manuela then sent us some helpful hints and suggestions for the rest of the weekend.
We arrived on an early morning flight, and this was a true Kick Starter! a great way to get moving after a long flight. Paola was one in a million! On time, happy, personable, so full of knowledge. She pointed out beautiful spots that you would certainly miss if you went on your own. She took us to a truly local hangout for some granita. A definite must try! I would recommend Paola for a great get to know Rome to all! Susan
We had the 90-min intro to Rome with Paula on the first day of our visit. She met us near our hotel, quickly learned what we were interested in and taylored the tour to our interests. Paula is passionate about Rome and its history. She recommended reataurants, best shopping, and best way to visit attractions and even caught a drink with us at the end of our tour. It was great to get an intro to Rome from a local - highly recommend the service in general and Paula in particular.
We had a really interesting introduction to Trastevere and Rome's Jewish ghetto. Simone is very pleasant and knowledgeable. All in all, an excellent way to get a handle on such an imposing city. Lots of great recommendations for food and gelato too! Thanks Simone
We spent our first afternoon in Rome with Daniele. He gave us a wonderful overview of this beautiful city as well as accomodating my son's love of Percy Jackson with a visit to the Pantheon. He answered all of our questions and gave wonderful suggestions of other places to go while we are here. Our only disappointment is that we only booked a short tour with him, we should have booked an all day tour, as he knew this city so well and was so interesting to listen to.
Simone was wonderful! Prompt, friendly, personable, and knowledgeable! He gave us a ton of great tips and recommendations-highly recommend.
Our guide was over 45 min late and promised we would get a full refund. He then offered to walk us to our next tour free of charge which was starting in under an hour at the roman forums. We tipped him 20 euro because we felt bad for him, he claimed to be late because of exams. Withlocals and viator then refused to refund our tour claiming it just went ahead at a different time. So we were out of pocket by over 60 euros and didn't get anything for it. Paari couldnt even tell us a decent place to buy a sandwich in the area, very dissapointed - highly recommend you avoiding this tour and company.
Francesco was very knowledgable, Rome is hard to do in 90 minutes!! He concentrated on the Trastevere, Tiber Island and Jewish quarter areas of Rome. We finished in Campo di Fiori having seen old Romen ruins. It was a Sunday, so the churches busy, but we got to see a lot. I recommend Francesco and these tours.
Simone was timely, personable, and knowledgeable. We only landed in Rome in the morning and we had our waking tour that afternoon. He helped us get our bearings, pointed out things to do and lastly gave us a great list of restaurants as well as gelato spots. Just perfect!
Paola is an amazing guide! She is a true life long Romen and proud-raising her kids Here as well. Her passion for the city and it's charm is infectious. Even our teens who are not into taking tours said They really enjoyed getting to see things from her local perspective. Paola gives just enough dates/background to help you understand the history behind something but doesn't bog you down with brain overload (which is far too easy to do in Italy). She showed us some of her favorite areas and ended with her showing us her latest secret discovery. You won't help but fall in love with Paola's' Rome. I will be recommending her to everyone we know visiting Rome
Terry is a fantastic guide with exceptional knowledge of Italy and more specifically Rome. We enjoyed his passion and understanding of the history of this great city and equally enjoyed his recommendations for local museums, restaurants, bars, markets, shopping, and cafes. If we ever are able to visit again we would love to book him for one of his longer and more in-depth tours. His video was exceptionally well done and helped make it easy to choose Terry as a guide. Thanks for a great experience!
Our guide Emanuel was 20 minutes late and so we rushed right into our walking tour. No explanation about where we were going or what we were seeing. Language barrier was a problem and while his English is far better than my Italian it was difficult to understand him. There wasn’t much if any historical knowledge of the area of the city we were walking around mostly “this is an old church/building “. We cut it short after 50 minutes as we had other things we wanted to see and do. Maybe we misunderstood what this tour was supposed to be like but we took a similar tour in Florence and it was amazing. Sorry it just didn’t meet our expectations.
