He focused on the things we wanted to see, avoided the things we had already saw or were going to see on future tours and added some amazing off the beaten track places that were magnificent. All this amazing local knowledge, a great personality and superb communication skills. This tour was worth every penny we paid for it!
Our guide Eugene (yes, he was Italian!) was wonderful! He began by having a discussion with us about some of the major things we wanted to see - or skip. He fit in the three cathedrals (not Saint Peter’s) we wanted to see, then included important areas that all visitors should see. He was helpful, informative, and we enjoyed our three hours.
Our golf cart tour was a highlight of our trip to Rome. Our guide Cristiano did everything he could to make sure we got to see the sights we wanted to see, which wasn’t easy because the Rome marathon had shut down many streets. His knowledge of the city was vast, and his willingness to make our vacation special much appreciated.

We had an excellent experience with our amazing driver and tour guide, Nico. He was prompt on arrival picking us up right at our AirBnB. And he was beyond knowledgeable as he zipped us all over Rome telling us fascinating information about all of our requested locations. We had seen the Colloseum and other key places on a tour earlier in the day, so he took our Wish List and told us what was possible in 3 hours. And off we went getting the chance to see many of them including the Trevi fountain complete with a gelato stop. I can’t speak of all of their tour guides, but ours was beyond amazing!! It was very chilly riding in a golf cart, but Carlotta tried to minimize this as much as possible. She was very thoughtful to keep us safe and see as much as possible. Great tour!!

Angelo gave a wonderful informative greeting to Rome. He catered the tour to what we were most interested in seeing. Angelo had a wealth of history to share not only of each site he brought us to but for the history of Rome and Italy itself. Angelo took the time to answer questions with enthusiasm and made sure we felt comfortable throughout the tour. I highly recommended this experience as a way to get your bearings of the city. If you are going to Rome, do yourself a favor and book a golf cart tour. It is the PERFECT first-day experience. You don't have to figure out how to get around; you don't have to wait in lines while fighting jet lag; you just zip through the crowds from one incredibly beautiful historic site to the next. Our RollingRome guide Suzanne (from England, interestingly) was awesome. She was an encyclopedia of Rome's history, and the whole tour felt like being escorted by a good friend. Also knew all the back roads and side streets (it was so fun to ride past all the shops and restaurants, and to note the weary looks on the faces of tourists who had spent their day in long lines and/or big crowds). Trevi Fountain (she had a pass that gave us access to the water's edge), the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Palatine Hill, National Roman Museum, Piazza Navona, etc., all in 3 hours. We landed in Rome at 8 AM and did our tour from 3 PM to 6 PM. I told my wife that if we had gone back to the airport and flown home afterward, it would have been worth the trip. Do yourself a favor, book a golf cart tour. And if you can get Suzanne at RollingRome as a guide, all the better. FYI, my wife and I paid $478 for a private tour, and ended up tipping our guide 60 euros. If that sounds like too much, I'd say, "It's Rome, it's three of the most unforgettable hours you'll ever spend, and for us it was worth every penny." One other tip: DO NOT use the ATMs at the airport or on the streets. Go online and find a "Bancomat" (an ATM in or outside of an actual bank) and use your credit card to get Euros there. ATM outside our hotel charged $141 US dollars to get 100 Euros. The Bancomat just down the street charged $105 US dollars for 100 Euros.

Excellent tour of various neighborhoods of Rome and key sites. You can choose your route and stops . Our tour guide Giulio was excellent 5star! We traveled with 4 and 2 of us had to sit facing backwards . They were unable to hear the tour guide narration so this was a negative . Possibly 4 seats all front facing is needed with a group more than 3.

This was my third trip to Rome and my mum's first. I wanted her to see as much as possible as we were only spending 2 whole days there and I saw this as an option. I cannot recommend this tour enough. We covered so much ground and saw so much! Our guide, Lorcan, was super friendly and so knowledgeable. He picked out the good things and also the things that might not be noticed by the standard tourist guide. My mum loved it and felt like she saw everything she wanted to. He negotiated busy, narrow roads like a pro, also navigating around local protests. Thank you Lorcan!
This was a great way to tour Rome at your pace. We went to all the major places and wanted a different experience. Our guide was awesome and was so knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and highly recommend it. Wish it was longer cause we had such a great time.
My husband and I were whisked around Rome in a sturdy golf cart; our charming driver parked in unusual spots. Every single one was a short walk to a major Rome landmark; we viewed them from above, from the side. The views were fantastic; our guide gave us a short talk on its significance. It was a pleasant and efficient 3-hour tour. I highly recomment this tour!

Nico was outstanding! He arrived on time, he took 5 minutes and he had a unique tour set up for us because we had done so many things already. We were able to see more on the outskirts of the city and then he dropped us right in front of our next adventure for the evening! Nico was informative and great fun! Unfortunately there were protests in Rome on the night of our tour. We were nervous about going out. Beatrice met us at our hotel and told us that she wanted us to feel safe and comfortable. She said we could call the company to discuss canceling and a possible refund if we wanted since this was an unusual situation. We decided to proceed with the tour with an agreement that we would go to safe areas and return home if we ever felt unsafe. The tour turned out to be great. She brought us to some wonderful areas of the city. It was beautiful, and we got to learn interesting facts and ask more questions. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. I really wish we could have her show us around for a full day, but I don’t think that was within our budget even if it is an option. So much nicer to have a guide just for us than in a big group, and we never would have gone to most of these parts of the city if we didn’t take this tour. The only downside at all were the protests. Most people probably won’t encounter that I figure, so I recommend this. If you get Beatrice as a guide I think you’ll enjoy it.

Lena picked us up at our hotel for a wonderful custom excursion. I had made a screenshot of all the sights on the long tour. Knowing that the evening tour was shorter, I put a star by those most important to us. She quickly planned a route to see those that were open or well-lit. The electric golf cart quietly but quickly brought us to a bridge near the Colosseum, for fantastic pictures. Off we went to The Wedding Cake, Basilica of St. Agnes, the Turtle Fountain, Circus Maximus, the Spanish Steps, and the Jewish quarter. Lena provided history, culture, and information about everyday life. She was an expert driver in the traffic and shared that the night tours covered so much more than the crowded daytime streets. We went down tiny alleys and into areas for a broad scenic overview that was jaw-dropping. We thoroughly enjoyed Lena, the city of Rome, and the chance to customize this private tour.
