Carlo was INCREDIBLE. This was the final night of our trip, and we wanted to be able to experience time together in our AirBnb. I stumbled across this experience, and I am SO glad I did!!! It was the perfect ending to our trip. Carlo made us an amazing 4-course meal that was filling and delicious. He was also so kind and attentive. This was a treat, and well worth the value. I highly recommend. Our favorite thing we did in Rome!

The dinner Carlo made for us was one of our favorite meals in Rome! We thoroughly enjoyed all four courses and he even modified the tiramisu for my daughter (used milk versus espresso) without us asking, very thoughtful and considerate. We had a limited kitchen at our Airbnb and Carlo made the best of it. Highly recommend!

Carlo was an incredible chef! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! He took care of everything. He came to our AirBnB with everything he needed and made a meal for 7 of us. It was a 4 course authentic Italian meal. It was one of the best meals we had in Italy during the 10 days we were here. We highly recommend Carlo and this experience. He speaks limited English, but a translate app allowed us to converse with him and have a truly memorable night.

Wonderful! Food was amazing. There were seven of us, including five college kids. My wife was able to visit, with Carlos in the background doing EVERYTHING. My kids loved having their mom enjoy dinner and be part of the conversation! I don’t write reviews, but felt I needed to do this one. One kid was a vegetarian, and Carlos made great accommodations. Lifelong memory for Rome! The Carbonara and beef with sage, was so good!

Chef Carlo came to our Airbnb flat and prepared a fantastic meal, and graciously let the 4 kids in our group help him to prepare the various dishes. Despite limited English (thought better than our Italian to be sure) he was able to communicate with the kids and had them super engaged. Started with bruschetta, then onto pasta carbonara, then saltimbocca, and finally a tiramisu for desert. We were a little leery to serve our kiddos veal, so he agreed ahead of time to make the saltimbocca with chicken, and I also had asked him to bring along some traditional Italian soft drinks for the kids (limonata, oranciata, etc.) and a few bottles of wine to pair for an extra fee. It was a really fun night for all of us, a lovely little break from eating out every meal while on our holiday, giving us a chance to enjoy ourselves together at our flat while Carlo made everything and also made a huge dent on the clean-up! The kids said it was the best chicken they’d ever had, and there was not even a crumb left of the dessert, despite us all being stuffed by the end of the meal. We all had a great evening with Carlo - so much fun!

I have celiac and couldn’t find a pasta making class like everyone else in Italy. I was on the hunt for several weeks for something special when I stumbled upon Carlo. His first language is of course Italian, but with the help of Google translate nothing was lost in conversation. He had zero issues making amazing dinner for the 5 of us. The most memorable part about this trip was being able to be have an authentic Roman dinner prepared by a wonderful chef. He was very accommodating and professional. He taught my friends and I the different courses and the items used to prepare the meal. He was also very informative on which wine would pair best with each meal. I highly recommend that you book the Private Chef the first night in Rome. It will teach you how the Italians enjoy their meals 1 course at a time. BOOK IT NOW!!

We had a wonderful evening with Chef Carlo. He created a menu to meet our vegan diet and allowed us to watch carefully and learn the recipes and techniques while he worked away in our kitchen. We had him join us at our table for the meal and learned he is a photographer and tailor in addition to a chef. He is personable and charming and so funny he could be a stand-up comedian. This was one of our best experiences in Italy.

Chef Carlo is the man! We booked Chef Carlo for the day we arrived in Italy. I was nervous that everyone would be tired, and the evening would be a bust. I could not have been more wrong! Carlo and his assistant arrived and immediately went to work. We have a lovely evening with an appetizer, pasta and a meat course followed by the absolute best tiramisu that I have ever had. Carlo even accommodated the one pescatarian in our group with ease! He is so charming, and his cooking is outstanding. At my request, Chef Carlo even brought along some wine for us to have with dinner. We have an absolute fabulous time in Rome and Chef Carlo was a highlight. 100% recommend!

We had an incredibly wonderful meal. Carlos food was some of the finest we had for our month long holiday in the Mediterranean. His pasta carbonara was excellent. His tiramisu was the perfect way to end our dinner. I informed him that my daughter is lactose free and Carlos made her a special lactose free tiramisu that she enjoyed every bite of. I, my wife, and our three kids would each give Carlos five stars and would recommend dinner with him. Enjoying a home cooked dinner vs going out was just the best way to end the day. We enjoyed our conversation just as much.

Carlo will make you a delicious meal for your taste buds. It was an Italian-style meal consisting of Appetizer, Carbonara, Roman Saltimbocca, and Tiramisu. It was delicious! His service is also very personal. Before the actual food prep, he took his time to make me feel very comfortable by explaining what he was making so I would know all of the ingredients that were going into it

What they say about Italian food and Italian grandma’s is so true!! My family and I were visiting Italy from the US and hired Carlo to give us a tour and help us find the most attractive tourist attractions! During that tour he offered us a home cooked meal with a private chef and offered us a great deal, that was too good to turn down as kind of a bundle offer since we already purchased his tour! He catered us to homemade Gnocchi featuring his family recipe and even made a light pasta dish on the side for my daughter! Great experience all around and it made for such a great entire day!

Τhe food was great the whole family loved it . We ate the best pasta we have ever had. We highly recommend him .Carlo took care of the whole family and even cooked food for the baby of the family and helped us to enjoy the trip and rest. Ηe also made a separate meal for my father who is not allowed to eat salt and so we were all quite satisfied. We had a great time and a fantastic meal!!! :)
