Discover the Colosseum hop on board your golf cart with an external visit, Known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, the Roman Colosseum is one of the capital's most remarkable monuments. Every year over 6 million people visit it. The Colosseum is the main symbol of Rome. It's an imposing construction that, with almost 2,000 years of history, will bring you back in time to discover the way of life in the Roman Empire. During the Roman Empire and under the motto of "Bread and Circuses" the Roman Colosseum (known then as Flavian Amphitheatre) allowed more than 50,000 people to enjoy its finest spectacles. The exhibitions of exotic animals, executions of prisoners, recreations of battles, and gladiator fights kept the Roman people entertained for years.
Discover the Saint Peter Square hop on board your golf cart. St Peter’s Square or Piazza San Pietro is one of the world’s most famous squares and one of the most breath-taking. Designed by Bernini during the seventeenth century, it houses over 300,000 people. The most impressive part of St. Peter's Square, besides its size, is its 284 columns and 88 pilasters that flank the square in a colonnade of four rows. Above the columns, there are 140 statues of saints created in 1670 by the disciples of Bernini. In the centre of the square, the obelisk and the two fountains, one of Berni ni (1675) and another of Maderno (1614) stand out. The obelisk, which is 25 meters in height, was carried to Rome from Egypt in 1586.
Discover the Castle Sant'Aangelo hop on board your golf cart. Known as Hadrian's Tomb, the Castel Sant'Angelo is a fortress located on the right bank of the Tiber, a short distance from the Vatican City. Construction of the building began in the year 135 under the direction of the Emperor Hadrian, who intended to use it as mausoleum for himself and his family. It was finished in the year 139 and a short time later, it became a military building, which in the year 403 would be integrated to the Aurelian Walls. In the year 590, while a great epidemic of plague devastated the city, the Pope Gregory I had a vision of Saint Michael the Archangel on top of the castle, announcing the end of the epidemic. In memory of the apparition the building is crowned with a statue of an angel.
Discover the Trevi Fountain hop on board your golf cart. Have you been told to throw a coin into the Fontana di Trevi? Learn the myth behind this tradition and learn about its history. Trevi Fountain is the most beautiful fountain in Rome. Measuring some 20 meters in width by 26 meters in height, Trevi Fountain is also the largest fountain in the city. Interestingly enough, the name of Trevi derives from Tre Vie (three ways), since the fountain was the meeting point of three streets. For us Trevi Fountain is the most beautiful fountain in the world. Whether under daylight or warmly lit up at night, the fountain is never lonely.
Discover the Navona Square hop on board your golf cart. The most beautiful parts of Piazza Navona are its three fountains, designed during the papacy of Gregory XIII. The square is surrounded by restaurants and terraces giving Piazza Navona a lively and delightful atmosphere during the day. Here, visitors can enjoy performances by street artists like magicians and dancers.
Discover the Pantheon hop on board your golf cart with external visit The Pantheon of Agrippa, also known as the Roman Pantheon, is one of the architectural masterpieces of the Italian capital. It is the best preserved building from ancient Rome. The most surprising aspect of the architecture in the Pantheon is its measurements: the circular building has exactly the same diameter as its height: 43.5 metres. The dome, which has the same diameter, is bigger than that of St. Peter's Basilica. At its top, a 9 meter diameter opening allows natural light to illuminate the entire building. In the interior of the Pantheon the tombs of numerous Italian kings and a multitude of art works are found. The best-known person who can be found buried in the Pantheon is without doubt the painter and Renaissance architect Raphael.
Discover the Spanish Steps hop on board your golf cart. The Piazza di Spagna (English: Square of Spain) is one of Rome’s most renowned squares. The name comes from the Palazzo di Spagna, the seat of the Spanish Embassy for the Vatican located on this square since the seventeenth century. The Piazza di Spagna is found in one of the most popular neighborhoods of Rome, near the high streets Via dei Condotti, Via Frattina and Via del Babuino, which houses several impressive seventeenth and eighteenth century villas.
Discover the Circus Maximus hop on board your golf cart. The Circus Maximus is an ancient Roman chariot-racing stadium and mass entertainment venue in Rome, Italy. In the valley between the Aventine and Palatine hills, it was the first and largest stadium in ancient Rome and its later Empire. It measured 621 m (2,037 ft) in length and 118 m (387 ft) in width and could accommodate over 150,000 spectators.[2] In its fully developed form, it became the model for circuses throughout the Roman Empire. The site is now a public park.

This was the first of 12 tours we booked on our trip to Italy and Paris and it was one of the best. Our guide picked us up at our hotel and took us all across Rome and the Vatican. She shared the history of Rome with us and the importance of various landmarks. Her tour not only covered the structures, but also the culture. She was engaging, funny and passionate about her work. She showed us things we would not have noticed on our own, such as how to use Roman drinking fountain and experience an optical illusion that makes the Basilica appear smaller as you approach it. At one point, she dropped us off at a castle to walk around and cross a bridge containing various figurines all depicting some aspect of the Catholic Church. Upon returning to the carr she treated us to glasses of wine. She was amazing and really made this tour special.
The tour was fine however we miss 2 steps going to Panteleone and Spanish Step. I would recommend but keep the tour guide accountable
I got this for my 75 year old parents as they can’t walk long distances and they loved it! They loved that it was just them and the driver.
Great tour!!! Very educational! Guide was terrific! A great way to see the highlights of Rome. Booking was easy!
This is a fabulous way to see the highlights of Rome. Easy to maneuver and get around. Our guide was wonderful and customized things for us based on our interests and prior visits. She was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this tour!!
We greatly enjoyed our golf cart tour the first afternoon of our visit to Rome in late September, 2026. As first-time visitors to this magnificent city, it gave us the chance to become oriented and see the major sights/sites which we would return to in subsequent days. Our driver was knowledgeable and fun; it was sometimes hard to hear him through traffic and other noise. We had a private tour and were in a smaller golf cart; the bumpiness over the cobblestones was certainly an adventure. He took us to some great areas where we had grand vistas of the city. We are very happy we chose to do this tour at the outset of our Roman holiday!
The golf cart tour is more personable intimate and you avoid a crowded bus. I truly enjoyed being able to see the sights more clearly in the open. Our driver guide was very friendly. My only recommendation that the guides of the golf cart should have a microphone. It was a little hard hearing being out in the open with traffic and sirens sounds.Having the guides with microphones avoids them having to turn their heads to project their voice thereby keeping their eyes completely on the road. It was great !
I’m so happy I booked this tour! It was the perfect introduction to Rome after a long travel day from the US. Julia was an excellent guide taking us to all the top sights and shared her knowledge of Rome. I would definitely recommend this tour especially to first time visitors or if you’re short on time.
This was a great way to see a lot of sites and save us from walking. We were able to customize what we did and didn’t want to see and our guide was great and took pictures of us as well.
This golf cart tour is an absolute must! We had the best time. Our guide Giulia was very knowledgeable. We were very impressed with her.
If you want to get to Rome and don’t know where to start, take a golf tour! Save your feet for another day and get your bearings. Plus you get some history from your driver along the way. Giulia was great! She picked us up on time, and when we told her we were doing the Colosseum tour the next day, she then said she would take us a few other places then, which was a great idea! She showed us some places we never would have seen in our few days here.
We had the BEST time on this tour, Guilia was a brilliant guide and was so knowledgeable about everything. We really enjoyed how relaxing, informative, and engaging it was. Guilia allowed us to customise the tour and brought us to places that we never would have seen without her guidance. She also gave us fantastic recommendations for dinner near our hotel after the tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone, it was perfect for our first day to see a lot of the city. We could not speak more positively about this experience!
The perfect tour to start when we got to Rome! Julia was warm and knowledgeable about the history and sites of Rome. Would highly recommend. She was punctual but also gave us time to explore.
Julia was an incredible guide to Rome. We had the best time and saw EVERYTHING in our planned list! Couldn’t recommend it enough. Best way to see Rome in a day! Julia was so beyond knowledgeable, the golf cart was the nicest and most comfortable!!!
Was amazing I learned so much from Julia and she was very kind and knowledgeable, the ride was truly worth the money
We had a fantastic experience on our golf cart tour! Such a perfect way to start our visit to Rome, especially in the heat. Our guide, Dom, was absolutely wonderful, friendly, and made the tour perfect. He never rushed us, he helped us get the best pictures, and he was a safe and courteous driver. Highly recommend this tour!
Julie was a great tour guide who was personable, kind and patient with us who need assistance as older adults. She engaged in meaningful conversation and was a great driver! She personalized our experience to meet our tour needs!
Giuliana was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of history during our scenic tour. We covered a lot of ground by going by golf cart.
We had an awesome time and were shown many interesting spots. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to provide many historical facts. I would highly recommend this tour. A great way to visit several spots in a short time.
This was a fantastic personalized tour thanks to our incredible tour guide, Giulia. Highly recommend this experience, as this was the highlight of our trip. It was great seeing all the main sites our first day.
Ivan was a wonderful tour guide! He was very informative, interesting and helpful! Going through Rome on a golf cart made the experience so much fun! I would highly recommend this tour! He dropped us off on time and closer to our bus pick-up for our cruise!
10/10 recommend! Dom was an amazing guide who felt like our friend by the end of the tour. Tailored to us, he took amazing pictures for us, and was a great way to get accustomed to our surroundings and learn some of the history here.
Fantastic first day orientation tour of Rome with Dom, can highly recommend if you are short on time to explore the beautiful city of Rome especially in the summer heat!
Great intro to Rome. Giulia was our guide and she was fantastic. She told us so much about Rome’s history. I loved being in the golf cart because Rome was so hot in July!
This is the PERFECT way to see the entire city without missing a beat, especially during the June heat wave when we visited and especially if you only have a day or two in Rome! Guilia picked us up on time directly at our Airbnb and she was such a good vibe, so friendly and knowledgeable and drives like a pro. She took us to all the best spots and shared a ton of historical info along the way. She'd stop at the good ones and let us get out and walk around at our own pace while she waited patiently at the golf cart. This is luxury at an affordable price, highly recommend!!
Julia was a wonderful tour guide, so very knowledgeable as well as pleasant. This was a fantastic way to see the beautiful landmarks of Rome, especially in the heat. We took an 8:00AM tour that was quite comfortable despite the heat wave. Our only suggestion is that there be a microphone for the guide so that the riders hear well despite the ambient street noise.
Julia was an amazing tour guide. We had just arrived to Rome on an all night flight and this was the perfect way to see the city and get our bearings without having to walk everywhere since we were trying to stay awake and not waste a day. Julia was friendly and accommodating. And it was sooo convenient that she picked us up from our hotel!
Fun and informative way to see the city and important sites. We were able to see so much more than if we were walking and trying to navigate all of them on our own. Ivan was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. We had other tours booked to go inside the major must see sites during our stay but started with this our first night in Rome. It was great, thank you Ivan!
We had a 4:30 private golf cart tour with Dom on the day of our arrival after an overnight flight. It was the perfect activity for the first day. We were tired and this kept us awake but didn’t involve a lot of walking. He took us to places we weren’t already scheduled to see including a scenic overlook we wouldn’t have had the time or energy to manage on another day. He even taught us how to order our coffee and offered to pay for it! 10/10 recommend!
Giulia was awesome! It was really nice of her to ask what we have seen, and we’re going to next, so she could adjust the tour accordingly. She did a great job driving the crazy streets of Roma while explaining sites as we passed by.
Great way to explore the city and learn about its history! Having our own cart and a guide tailored the experience to what we were most interested in learning. Highly recommend!
Ivan was a terrific tour guide. We were very comfortable and he was very knowledgeable. He stopped at the most wonderful spots to take photos and dropped us off at a terrific little restaurant.
We thoroughly enjoyed our whistle stop tour of Rome. Ivan was very knowledgeable, and even took us to a couple of extra places which were fantastic photo spots (one of which he even left the golf cart for to take our photo). We only had 24 hours in Rome so this was a fantastic way to see the city, the pick up and drop off from our hotel was also very convenient. Overall, we would highly recommend!
Lucca was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He made our trip to Rome truly special. We took the private golf cart tour and Lucca took us everywhere we wanted to go. We did not feel rushed and were able to see all the places we wanted to.
We went all over Rome with easy access to all the spots we wanted to stop at and take pictures or spend more time. Our driver, Dom, who was so knowledgeable and friendly, and who made our trip spectacular!! Best tour we went on during our 10 days in Italy!!
Perfect way to see a lot of iconic sites in a short time. Excellent guide (Dom) and well -planned itinerary.
This is the way to see the highlights of Rome without having to walk everywhere. Giulia was a fantastic guide who catered the tour to what we hadn’t seen and was just the best. Highly recommend her and doing this tour.
The golf cart tour is definitely the way to see Rome. It was fun to be in the open air experiencing all that Rome is rather than being cooped up in a car. Our tour guide was also kind enough to stop at a shop that she knew sold suitcases so we could send some things home. We never would’ve found it without help!
this was an awesome experience. Luca was awesome with his knowledge. I suggest if you’re there for a couple days, do it one of your first days so you know where you might wanna go after but you hit all the main places and then you can learn what you wanna do after that and where you wanna hang
Excellent.Giulia has excellent communication about our pick up location and was extremely knowledgeable about many aspect of Rome. I learned more about Rome on this tour than anything I have read or discussed with people. When we asked questions, Giulia knew the answers with detail. We were very impressed. Julia knew the best spots for a view of major sightseeing spots and also took great pics of our small group.
While we saw some special and secluded spots, we did not visit all places we desired. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the experience in Rome
This was the best way for us to see Rome on our first day!! We had the best time and the best tour guide! Stopped at great places and she gave us time to explore. I would do this if you’re looking for a way to see the city on your first day!
Highly recommended to get a lay of the land. We would recommend this tour and hope you get Luca as your guide!
Was phenomenal. Would highly recommend. Our tour guide was awesome very knowledgeable. He was very accommodating.
My parents and I were very disappointed with our tour guide for this tour. Perhaps we were unlucky with our particular guide, but he displayed zero passion for his work, and was clearly just there to do a job. He drove us from point to point, and narrated some things, but definitely didn't go above and beyond. He seemed to give the minimum amount of information to get by, and even when we asked about things like restaurant recommendations he would throw out the names of a couple of the most tourist-trap restaurants in Rome. Or, my mom would ask about a specific church he perhaps wasn't familiar with, and he would just respond that there were a lot of churches in Rome. Once we got to the various stopping points, he didn't get out of the golf cart to accompany us, offer to take photos of us, or provide any additional information about anything. He sat in the golf cart on his phone, whereas the drivers of other golf cart tours at the same stops appeared to be more interested in catering to their clients. Our guide also did not seem to consider my parents' mobility issues, and at one viewpoint parked in front of the middle of a long chained fence, and weirdly close to a scooter. That required us to squeeze our way past the scooter, and walk all the way around to reach the viewpoint and then all the way back around to get back to his golf cart. For a private tour, it would have been nice if he had considered dropping us off at an easily-accessible entrance, or noticing when we were ready to leave and moving the golf cart to pick us up at an easier spot. It was fine, but it was just these lack of personal touches that were missing from the tour that made us feel like the private tour (with him) was not worth the money we paid. One good aspect was that the tour guide was willing to go to a couple of the places we asked to go that weren't on the official route, and we saw some things my parents enjoyed and otherwise might not have seen. That was exactly why we had booked the private tour - so we could customize it according to our interests. For those with mobility issues, golf cart tours are a good way to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time. After we had already decided that this tour was mediocre and disappointing, my mom's coat was stolen out of the back of the golf cart when we were at one of the stops. The guide was sitting in the golf cart the whole time, and after we discovered what happened he seemed pretty unconcerned and unapologetic. We know about theft in Rome, keep our belongings secure and on us at all times, and perhaps she shouldn't have left a coat (with nothing in the pockets, thankfully) in the back of an open golf cart. But we were very disappointed that something like that happened while the guide was sitting there. The good news is that after that happened, and perhaps he realized that things weren't going that well, he decided to leave the golf cart for 30 seconds and offer to take our photo at one of the stops. Overall, we saw some interesting things, but based on our experience I would choose a different company. I never leave reviews, but I felt like this one needed to be reviewed.
Best way to get a close eye view of the important attractions in Rome. Wife has mobility issues and it was a savior to us. Still got in close to what we wanted. Guide was very knowledgeable
The tour was fantastic, we saw more than we had anticipated and our guide Giulia was outstanding! A great way to see Rome!
Great way to get around the city, in and out of traffic and crowds. Could get up close to see places such as the Pantheon and the Colosseum . Our guide was great, very knowledgeable and added a lot to the history of early Rome. Highly recommend.
Our guide Fabio was the BEST! Our private tour was a perfect way to see Rome’s best sites and he tailored it to what interested us. Highly recommend it!
