This is an experience that I feel fortunate to have done. The catacombs are unbelievable, sacred, and a bit spooky. It was so amazing to actually experience so much history and to realize how extensive they were. We were fortunate to have a private tour, so no crowds and our guide was very knowledgeable!

Anestis shared comprehensive knowledge about the early Christian catacombs. He was very informative and engaging as we walked down the catacombs. The tour was incredibly educational! We learned a lot about early Christian burials, including their decorations and symbols. We highly recommend this tour. Please note, you won't see skulls and bones here!

it was super cool on how they made the tombs and how it was able to remain in decent conditions for thousands of years. Really enjoyed it and it was 9/10 if I had to rate it

Our visit to the catacombs was great. We got a van ride that took us straight to the catacombs. Our tour guide Ernestos was super knowledgeable and hilarious, he made the visit very enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour!

Ernesto was wonderful at story telling the ancient Roman Empire and bringing the old ruins to life with his explanation of this history. I appreciated the personal experience and explanation of the Travis Fountain and La Citta Dell Acqua.

Didn’t know what to really expect on this tour but it turned out to be very enlightening about how and why the Romans catacombs were there.

Incredible tour. Daniel really is an expert on the subject. And any question I had about literally anything about Roman history, he knew the answer. And he was funny, too. There's no way I would have been able to understand what I was seeing in the proper context on my own. 100% worth going on if you come to Rome.

Our Tourguide Francesca was amazing! She explained everything so well! Not only has she a tremendous knowledge of history and rome but she managed to answer all of our questions! You could feel she really guides the tour with passion and love! The tour itself is very interesting and i love that you can see and feel the Catacombs! Tour guide was not very pleasant and was trying to finish the tour as soon as possible. The tour was shortened by her. Even the driver noticed it. Being a great costumer of viator -this kind of service is not up to their standards.
