Private Colosseum Tour With Arena Access

Francesca was very knowledgeable about the colosseum. She went above and beyond to help us find our way back to our hotel.

Roberto was very knowledgeable but kept my 11 year old grandson interested; the book he used occasionally had illustrations that helped to bring history to life. Nice to not share the tour with others, a refreshing change from the big groups with audio sets in our ears.

Roberto our guide was very informative and helpful with information on the collaseum. Therese also communicated all the time with us in relation to our tour including organising an additional day tour that we wanted to do. Special shout out to Florin who not only was a brilliant driver, but also gave very useful information and helped our traveller with looking up information on his family. This was the best day and we appreciate all the work put in by the above people. Thank u for making our holiday memorable.

Great guide. Very small group. However difficult to meet up as we came early according to instructions and the address was closed.

Roberto is amazing. He immediately connected with our kids (10-12) who aren’t really history buffs and kept it informative but highly entertaining the whole time. I lol-ed at quite a few of his jokes. We wish Roberto was available for all of our tours during our time in Italy. Definitely worth the private tour expense.

There were so many people in the tour. It seemed like 2 groups were added onto our our group. It felt like the guide was not enthusiastic; like it was another routine thing to be done for the day.

This tour was amazing! The tour company was so helpful and answered any questions we had concerning meeting points and times immediately. Our guide, Fabiola, was informative, interesting, and incredibly patient and kind to our children. Next time we come to Rome we will contact this company for any tours we need in the City and request Fabiola. In short, I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone.

The tour was great and although Tripadvisor said it lasted an hour it was closed 2.5hrs So it felt like great value for money. The tour did start late as we were rushed around to start but once it started it was much easier. Would recommend as you skipped the lines and got some very interesting information too

This tour covered the Colosseum with the guide Roberto who was absolutely excellent. He was also very entertaining and comical. No-one else in our group knew who 'The Fonz' was apart from Roberto and I, which he found extremely funny!!! Palatine Hill was amazing, we wouldn't know it existed or the vastness of it, if we hadn't done the tour included with the Roman Forum. The female guide was all very good and knowledgeable.

Our guide Roberto entertained us the whole way while telling us some really great facts and going into great detail!! He made our day!

Roberto was a FANTASTIC tour guide who knew everything about the Colosseum and was very happy to explain the history with our group.

Roberto led us around the Colosseum and kept the adults and children entertained throughout, even when we were queuing. The only shame was that we felt rushed through the Colosseum and into the Forum, which was less interesting. Our son told Roberto this was "the best tour of his life" so thanks Roberto!

We had the pleasure of taking the ‘skip the line’ tour that got us to the colosseum (Flavian Amphitheatre) floor. Our tour guide (Roberto) was AWESOME. Informative, fun, and engaging. He adapted to the attitude of the group and taught us a TON! I highly recommend this tour!

My first time being outside the country & my fiance booked this tour for us at the Colosseum. We were running a bit behind but once we arrived we were greeted by a funny tour guide who cared about how we were doing. Roberto was his name and he made this tour so amazing and not boring which I loved...not to mention he asked where we were from and when we said San Francisco he mentioned if we had been to this place in North Beach, surprisingly I had been before and be said when you go back say hi to the owner since he is from Rome. Anyways overall I would recommend booking with this tour guide and asking for Roberto.

The tour was very enjoyable from start to finish, this combined with the knowledge and unique and very entertaining humour of Roberto the tour guide, who not only made the trip very interesting though very good value for money also. Keep up the great work Roberto and thanks.

We arrived mid afternoon on a rainy day. The queue was endless. We were approached by 7 hills tours for a « skip the line » guided tour. We were a bit apprehensive at the beginning as selling tickets on the side is a major scam around the Colosseum. They looked genuine and at 40€ a head we took the plunge. We did not regret it. They were very organised and efficient. We were soon on our way with our guide Roberto who was knowledgeable and experienced. A lot of facts and questions mixed with jokes. We enjoyed it immensely. On the way out we wanted to buy the book he was using on his tour but the shop did not have it. We were near the exit when we spotted Roberto again and asked him where we could buy it. No problem he said, I have a spare in the basket of my scooter. We appreciated the extra effort to make our visit even more successful.

Roberto is the best guide with excellent knowledge and a great sense of humour. He really made our day enjoyable and the tour was set at a good pace if you have walking difficulties. He made Roman history come to life in one of the most spectacular sites and fulfilled a lifetime dream for my husband.

Best guide Roberto and best tour in Rome! All recommendation! We were aproached in the street by this agency staff and were very scaptic. But this turned to be our best tour in Rome. Much better then all other we had. Roberto took us to Arena tour and made this really excited experience, both inspiring and funny! Love this!

Took this tour and skip the line at the colosseum and included the Roman Forum and Palpatine hill and it was great. Our tour guide for the colosseum was Roberto and he was very friendly and knowledgeable and made it very interesti g and on the second part of this tour it was Mia who took over and showed us the Roman Forum and Palintine hill and she was great and again explained everything so well and answered our questions. Really would recommend this tour and a definite visit when in Rome
