Wonderful experience seeing Pompeii and Naples. The guides were excellent and passionate about details shared with the group. Highly recommend this experience for anyone who is looking for a great experience in Pompeii and Naples.

This was the best excursions of our European trip! Maria was awesome, and rode with us to and from Pompeii and gave us a tour of Naples and showed us little gems of the city. You can tell she loves what she does. Me and my wife also had our own private guide around Pompeii (i can't remember his name, because I'm terrible with names, but his mom was an archeologist and helped excavate the north west section of Pompeii). But he was so knowledgeable and excited to show us everything. He knew so much!! It was a long day, but a great day.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Julia and driver Roberto were great .They took good care of us making sure we had bathroom breaks, snacks in Naples. The guide at Pompeii was very knowledgable. The winery we at stopped at for lunch had beautiful views and the winery and food were delicious.

It was amazing we had Luigi was the driver and a young man I think his name was narmen im sure thats not correct. They both were amazing !!!hands down the best part of our trip . Thank you both so very much!!!!

Nariman our guide was amazing!he gave us all the history for everything. If you want to know any history he is your man!!!!I can't thank him enough. Luigi our driver was the best driver on the planet. They work great as a team.luigi had to drive us in a thunderstorm and was magnificent.

The Pompeii part was good but the Bsokes part was a waste of time and money. The tour to naokes shoukd have been better. The lunch at the winery wasted a lot of unesessary time.

The sites in Italy are always great but what made this tour unbelievable was the knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide Nariman and professionalism and sense of humor of our driver Luigi. This was an amazing experience! Our morning started off with Monika & Artur pick us up at our place and a stop for coffee before the drive. Both Monika & Artur were incredibly fun, kind & knowledgeable. They shared lot about the area, were great to answer questions & made sure our day was seamless. Our tour of Pompei was with Francesco. He did a great job explaining the history, showing us the notable sites along with archeological expertise and tons of humor! Very enjoyable! We absolutely loved our time at the vineyard, great wine and food. Our walking tour of Naples was perfect! I’m gluten free & Monika made sure to find a pizza place in Naples for me and a normal one for my husband on the walking tour. We also stopped for espresso. She was very informative both of the history and culture of the community. The ride to and from Naples with Monika and Artur was both fun and informative. Both are lovely guides and very hospitable. Honestly, I’m sure any tour with them is amazing! This was a great value and definitely a highlight of our trip. Would recommend to anyone!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience on our Pompeii and Naples tour with Nariman as our tour leader and Fabio as our driver. We were in a car with them throughout the tour, which made the experience very comfortable and personalized. Nariman was extremely knowledgeable and highly educated. He is currently pursuing his PhD, and his knowledge and passion really showed throughout the tour. He provided us with a wealth of interesting information and made the tour both enjoyable and informative. He was also very respectful, thoughtful, and professional. He even bought us a thoughtful gift in Naples, which was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated. Fabio was an excellent driver—punctual, professional, and very courteous. Both Nariman and Fabio went out of their way to make us comfortable, even jumping out to open the car door for us. The hotel pickup and drop-off were included, and everything was handled smoothly. The tour started and finished exactly as scheduled. My wife and I had a great time and would highly recommend this tour, especially with Nariman and Fabio. They made our day comfortable, enjoyable, and truly memorable.

A great experience at Pompeii with lunch at a beautiful winery! Our guide and our driver were both very knowledgeable and professional and constantly working to make sure we had a great experience. Pompeii is huge and it was hot, but given the heat they tailored a perfect experience. We had an outstanding expereince!

It was a great mix of Pompeii and Naples. The guides were very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The van ride was very comfortable and easy. The Pompeii section was only two hours, but that was plenty to get a good feel for the place. You would generally needs days to see it all, it the two hours was enough. Overall, it was a great day!

Was a great tour! Our guide was so wonderful and explained the history and different land marks as we drove to Naples and Pompeii. The tour at Pompeii was excellent!! You can tell the guides have a passion for what they do.

We had an enjoyable experience on our tour. Nariman was a great tour leader. He was funny and very engaging with the group. He knew a lot of facts about the places we went and made sure everyone had a great time! Our driver Alessio was great and was always there right away to take us to the next location. The vehicle was air conditioned and very spacious so it made the ride there and back comfortable. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit Pompeii and Naples!

We had a small group of six (two families) with hotel pick up and drop off. Pompeii was very interesting, lunch was beautiful at a winery with a view of Mt. Vesuvius, and the walking tour of Naples took us to some lovely sights. Nariman, our guide, was very knowledgeable and made sure the kids had fun. Alessio, our driver, got us there quickly and safely. 10/10!

Best experience ever, great food, good wine, great driver & wonderful driver

Our family (including one teen and two young adults) had a wonderful day traveling with our guide Nariman and driver Emanuele to Pompeii, the Cantina del Vesuvio, and the city of Naples. The day began with them picking us up at our hotel in a very nice air conditioned van. Along the way to Pompeii, we stopped for a restroom break and an opportunity to get some coffee or breakfast. On the way there, Nari did an excellent job teaching us about Italian history, geography, and culture. And he was very kind and really funny! At Pompeii, we joined a local guide who was fantastic. We were so glad that we did a guided tour rather than trying to use an audio guide to guide ourselves. Pompeii was fascinating, and our entire group really enjoyed learning about it. Then, we went to lunch at a local vineyard and farm. They were WONDERFUL with our sons’ food allergies. Very knowledgeable and helpful! The food was very fresh and delicious and was a menu that would appeal to many people. We loved the wine and wine vinegar and ordered some of both to be shipped home as souvenirs. Next, we went to the Naples. Nari showed us around and taught us about a lot of history of the local area. This time was flexible, and we had lots of options about how we would like to spend that time. We were all exhausted on the ride back to Rome and had a relaxing ride. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Sam, our guide, and Luigi, our driver, were fantastic. Lots of good information along the way, some great stops in Naples, and the guided tour of Pompeii was awesome. The winery on the slopes of Vesuvius provided a great lunch. Can highly recommend!

Excellent!!!!! Our your guide Giuseppe and driver Luigi were just fantastic. We are a family of 5 and were picked up right outside our hotel on time. A private minivan and just us so the whole experience was exclusive. Giuseppe was so knowledgeable and explained everything so well and also took good care of us. We got the Nepolitan pizza and then he took us to the beach and we enjoyed the pizza on the beach..... what a wonderful experience. Also the lunch at the Russo family winery was delicious and we enjoyed a good view of Mt. Vesuvius. Tried the wines and even bought some. If you are in a limbo please do this..... totally worth the price !!!! Can say this was the highlight trip of our Roma trip. 10 stars for Giuseppe and Luigi!!!!!

The trip to Pompeii is so well worth it especially upon entering the city you see all the devastation. Pillars, Columns, big buildings, rich city buried of volcanic ash. Sam our Tour guide is knowledgeable and amiable while Luigi the driver is attentive and friendly. Both are professional in their own way.

This day destination was chosen by our Kensington tour director and I am so very glad she booked this trip. Our guides were wonderful; knowledgeable and pleasant. They showed us the essentials of Pompeii and Naples and we would be pleased to recommend this trip to everyone.

Picked up on time at our Hotel by quintessential hostess Theresa. Very comfortable drive to Pompeii tour. Outstanding tour by Romolus- full of history, geology, archaeology, art and humor. Definitely needed more time to see the ruins. Delightful and delicious organic wine tasting while viewing Mt. Vesuvius and Sorento Bay. Lunch with the winery’s wonderful olive oil/balsamic vinegar and the best pasta I’ve ever had” according to my adult son. Enjoyable tour with Theresa through streets of Naples before driving back to Rome.

Theresa was a perfect host making sure transportation, Pompeii tour, wine tasting/ lunch and Naples walk were all to our expectations. Romolus was fun and extremely knowledgeable making the ruins come alive. The organic wine tasting and lunch were fantastic.

The experience to Pompei was very good. The guide we had, Nariman, was very knowledgeable and up to date on everything. Loved how he had pictures that helped to tell his story. Our driver, Fabrizio, was also very good and got us to Pompei and home in one piece. We especially loved our lunch at the winery. The wines were delicious and the food outstanding.

Probably my favorite activity we did in Italy. Our guides were so engaging and helpful and Pisa is beautiful

It's a long drive from Rome but definitely worth it, especially since we were picked up and returned to our hotel.

We took an amazing day tour to Pompeii and Naples with guide Antoinette and driver Pedro. Pedro’s driving was fabulous—he expertly navigated our van through incredibly tight spaces with total confidence. Antoinette was a standout, sharing her deep knowledge through captivating stories rather than dry facts, and she was endlessly patient with our group. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting the area!

It’s a very long day in a mini van. We had 6 people along with a very nice tour guide named Joseph. The day was well organized and we really enjoyed Pompeii. The guide provided there was amazing. He showed us so many highlights and kept the tour moving. We had lunch at a local winery along with a tour of the facility. Naples was a bit of overkill. We could have skipped that and headed back to Rome. It makes it too long a day for most people. Consider cutting that part of the tour and just doing lunch and Pompeii.

Excellent tour of Pompeii. Our tour guide was very informative and engaging. Lovely stop at a local vineyard for lunch and wine tasting. Very nice tour of Naples. Driver and guide were both excellent and very attentive. Very please with tour.

The best tour we did in Italy- Jazzy was top-notch and is now my son's idol. We got to Pompeii early before it was crowded, and our tour guide there was perfect- she gave us just enough information, but didn't overwhelm or bore. Our lunch at the winery was fantastic, we got to tour the grounds and then eat some great food and drink some amazing organic wines. Yes, it is a sales pitch, but worth it to me and we ended up buying wine to be shipped home as our "souvenir". We then went to Naples, where Jazzy gave us a short tour of the very busy city and recommended a wonderful local place to get great coffee. We then drove to an overlook of the coastline where we were able to get some lovely pictures. I really can't say enough good things about Jazzy, who is fluent in 5 languages and has a PhD. He was funny, friendly, helpful, and our whole family loved him- he really made the tour exceptional!

Antoinette was funny and very personable. The tour of Pompei and the sight seeing in Naples was very fun. It was an enjoyable trip and would recommend for anyone wanting to have a relaxing and fun tour.

Just finished our Pompeii/Naples and Wine tasting tour with Teresa & Fabrizio. It was fantastic!!! Highly recommend it. Teresa & Hector were a wealth of knowledge. We did not expect what we received at the wine tasting, Casa Del Vesuvio. We had Mt Vesuvius at our backs and the Bay of Naples infront! It was beautiful!! Great day, Thank You!

This tour with Antoinette and our driver Pietro was nothing short of amazing! You may think that this tour would be a very long commitment- it may be in hours but it flies by! The drive is full of interesting stories and Antoinette’s charm and intelligence keep you completely engaged. Pietro was an expert and quick driver. The guided tour of Pompeii brought the city to life once again. And Naples - was electric and beautiful. If you are on the fence - book it, no doubt!

It's a long day - 12 hours, but was such an awesome tour! We had Sam as our tour guide and Luigi as our driver - both were AMAZING!!! Luigi is an excellent driver and git us around safely. Sam was so patient, friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. Couldn't ask for a better team! We booked a small group tour, but it ended up just being the two of us - so turned into a private tour - which was fantastic - had the whole van to ourselves! First stop was Pompeii. Had a 2 hour tour and learned so much. So interesting! Next was lunch at a winery. We had a small tour, then tasted 4 wines while having a tastey lunch that included dessert. After that, we stopped in Naples for a bit where Sam walked us around the whole time- explaining everything. He was so patient and waited while we ordered fried pizza ( we were stuffed from lunch, but had to have pizza in Naples). Last, we stopped to see the most amazing view of the city and took some pictures before heading back to Rome. Had a great day and so glad we did this tour. Highly recommend it and hope you are fortunate enough to get Sam and Luigi as your guides for your tour!

Theresa and Luigi picked us up from our accommodations on time. Theresa gave us great information as we drove from Rome to Pompeii where we met Hector to guide us through Pompeii. It was fascinating and he was wonderful! After Pompeii, we went to a Resturant with delicious Pizza! Theresa toured us through Naples. She is very knowledgeable and accommodating. We had an amazing time!!

We had an amazing day tour to Pompeii and Naples — it was truly much better than we expected. The tour was very well organized and the experience exceeded our expectations. Elisabetta and Paulo, our guides in Napoles and Pompeii, were absolutely spectacular. They were kind, friendly and very welcoming, and they made us feel comfortable the whole time. You can really tell they love what they do, and they were great hosts. About the places we visited: Naples is a beautiful port city, full of life, with great views and a very unique atmosphere. And Pompeii was simply breathtaking — seeing it with modern eyes is shocking in the best way. It’s incredible how much is still there, and how beautiful and impressive it is. Finally, lunch at the vineyard with a view of Mount Vesuvius was another big highlight and a perfect extra touch. Highly recommended!

Incredible tour that combines different experiences in a single day - our Pompei guide Elena was amazing and replied to our several questions. The wine/lunch was fun and delicious. We made a quick visit to explore Naples and try coffee and ice cream (city was very different from the Rome vibe so a plus on the Italian culture overview) It’s a long day, but very comfortable van.

It was an extremely worthwhile trip, and we felt well taken care of from start to finish. Mr. Guiseppe – our guide – and the driver arrived on time, with a very comfortable vehicle. The driver was very polite, and our guide was attentive, kind, and truly excellent. During our visit to Pompeii, we were accompanied by a local guide who knew the site incredibly well. We learned so many fascinating details that you simply cannot get from reading on your own. For lunch, we visited a beautiful vineyard and enjoyed an exclusive look at their winemaking process. The full-course meal and the wines served were all delicious. At the end of the trip, we visited Naples, and our guide shared the city’s history in great detail, as he is a native of Naples himself. Overall, it was a wonderful trip with flawless service. It’s rare to be impressed enough to feel compelled to write a review like this.

We had the best experience ever! Luigi was the perfect driver — he knew the roads like the back of his hand, always careful but never slow, and made the entire ride smooth and enjoyable. Giuseppe was an amazing guide and such a wonderful storyteller. He brought every stop to life and kept us engaged the whole time. They even played “Happy Birthday” in the car, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch! The vehicle itself was in excellent condition and extremely comfortable — we felt completely relaxed the entire day. I’m so happy we booked this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone. The Viator employees and tour guides are very nice and friendly. We had Teresa and she was very kind and a joy to be around during the whole trip. Make sure you have a battery charger for your phone because, it’s a long day and you will take a lot of videos and pictures and you may not have enough battery life left after a few hours.

Long day but very informative. Guide at Pompeii full of information. Guide in vehicle good also but maybe a bit more information on the way there. All in all very happy with everything! Guide in Naples really good too.

Joseph and Alessandro were amazing. Loved the winery meal and wine tasting. Appreciated the history provided by Joseph as a resident in Napoli. Would have liked more time in pompeii for the museum though but overall great day trip!

Great tour, definitely recommended. Our guide Romolo was very knowledgeable, explaining everything in excellent English, and the best part is that he did it with passion. It was wonderful to discover the beauty of this amazing city step by step, making the experience truly unforgettable. The wine tasting was amazing, with plenty of delicious food paired with different glasses of wine that perfectly matched each dish. The staff at the winery were also very nice and welcoming. Last but not least, our wonderful guide Antonietta walked us through the streets of Naples, explaining not only the main landmarks but also the hidden secrets of this beautiful city. Our nice and professional driver drove us to Vomero, and we stopped to take panoramic photos. Tour definitely recommended.
