Pizza & Gelato Cooking Class In Rome, Hands-on Italian Experience

We had the Fantastic Andrea as our chef for the experience. He did an outstanding job of explaining and attending to everyone in the group as we went through the process of making both our own Pizzas and Tiramisu. After the cooking class, we were seated outside the restaurant with a complimentary glass of wine and a shot of limoncello as we ate the food we cooked. Would highly recommend this experience for anyone doing a trip to Rome, we paired the day with a visit to The Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

What an amazing experience! We made fettuccine and ravioli from scratch, and everything turned out delicious. Our instructor Vitorio was kind, patient, and shared so many helpful tips and tricks to make great pasta at home. The class was fun, hands-on, and very well organized. I learned a lot and had a fantastic time. I would definitely do it again and highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Italy! Not too crowded! 2 hours!

Victorio was amazing! So much fun and allowed us to volunteer. He also gave constructive feedback every step of the way without getting in our way. I love that he asked if he could provide feedback or help before he simply interjected. His manners and humor made the experience!

The class was fun. Must say it was a little warm, but the weather is just so warm here anyway at this time of year that we could not eat inside so everything that we cooked we had to eat outside and it was quite uncomfortable.

The gelato portion was very short and it was a delicious dessert. The pizza making was super fun and Andrea was an excellent and engaging leader. I highly recommend this activity!!

Paris was super enthusiastic and informative. She helped my wife and I (more me with my little experience) make some very delicious pasta and tiramisu! It was a very fun experience.

What a fun experience! Everything from beginning to end was great. When we first got to the restaurant, Martina, our chef for the evening, came out and warmly greeted us. We had just flown in earlier that morning on an overnight flight from the U.S. and had a grumpy child who was dealing with the effects of jet lag. Martina was very patient with our grumpy child, and very shortly after we began the cooking class she was in a much better mood. We started with learning how to make tiramisu so it could sit in the refrigerator while we learned how to make authentic Roman pizza. Martina was a great instructor! After making our pizzas, we moved outside to sit and enjoy our glasses of wine with soft drinks for the kids. The entire staff was very friendly. Everything tasted amazing! I would highly recommend this pizza and tiramisu cooking class to anyone looking to do a fun family activity!

Our family of four, including two girls ages 11 and 8, really enjoyed our pizza and gelato making experience. Mattia was a wonderful teacher - he walked us through and explained each step with such knowledge and patience, and was very sweet with the kids. The food itself was delicious and to know we made it ourselves enhanced the experience even more. Highly recommend!!

What an experience! Leo was the best and the food fantastic!

We did not have a Guide however we had a chef Leo that taught us in the class we registered for. He was exceptional!

The pasta making class was lots of fun. Chef Leo kept things engaging and exciting even when we were making mistakes. The food was amazing. Great activity for our family on a long travel day.

Our instructor/chef Leo was great. I’ve cooked fresh pasta before in the past and still learned some new things. He did a great job of making it both adult and kid friendly. I would highly recommend this as a must do while in Rome. Also we got to eat our food that we made and a lil booklet with recipes outside of what we cooked included which added to the value fs.

So fun. Took our 2 adult children and grandchildren 1,3,14 and 16. They are loved it! Very interesting and Andrea came around and helped everyone with the dough. Andrea was very encouraging to all. Would highly recommend for a memorable experience!

Great class! Leo was great in keeping everyone involved and was pretty easy to follow along. I would recommend this class to everyone who wants to have a good time.
