We booked this experience for our wedding anniversary and so glad we did! What a wonderful cooking class this was! Our chef Alessandro and his assistant Rashid were amazing - explained everything really well and did so with a great sense of humour! Our class size of 8 was perfect as we were able to chat with and get to know everyone as well as feeling we had an opportunity to talk to Alessandro if we needed to. We teamed up to make 3 flavours of gelato, helped make suppli which were absolutely delicious and were taught how to make pizza dough which was such good fun! We then put together our pizzas before enjoying all the tasty food! Plenty of wine and soft drinks were flowing all night which was a plus for us too! Really enjoyable experience! We did the pasta and tiramisu class last year and wanted to come back and try a different one. It was a really fun experience with plenty of wine and tasty food! The class size was perfect, think there was about 10/12 in total, and everyone was really sociable and friendly. Our chef, Alessandro, was great and made the whole thing really fun!

Alessandro’s class was a fantastic experience. He is a super host and instructor. Making authentic pizza, suppli, and gelato from scratch was so much fun and surprisingly approachable thanks to his clear, step-by-step guidance. Everything tasted amazing - I ended up creating one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming from start to finish. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a memorable, hands-on culinary adventure!

What a great way to spend a birthdaymorning in the breathtakingly beautiful kitchen right by the fontana delle tartarughe. Ian was a great instructor and cook, knowledgeable and funny. He was never tired of answering all our questions. They work with great quality products. Thans to Ian from now in we will prepare the dough for our Saterday pizzaparties on wednesdays! No better way to spend a birthdaymorning!

What a great experience with Jacopo! Felt very welcomed from start to finish. The experience was well worth the money, the suppli, pizza and gelato were all delicious. Great explanation from Jacopo on how to make all the dishes. Our 15 year old daughter had a fantastic time learning new skills also. Lots of food, go hungry!! We had one of our most memorable experiences with Chef Ian at the Piazza Mattei location. Our group consisted only of our family of 5, which was so nice. We super appreciated the attention to my son’s tree nut and peanut allergies. It was the only gelato he was able to eat while we were in Rome! The food was excellent. Thank you for such a wonderful time. We also loved that there was the picture option at the end. A great addition and a fun way to remember the experience.

Intimate and friendly. Great class with light humor. Our chef encourages shy people like my son to participate and spoke english with a itailian accent and was easy to underatand. Our class size was 11 guests. Excellent explanation of the prepreation and measurements with quality ingredients. All ingredients were from italy and provided aprons. Was provided a recipe book at the end of our class. Great for familes.
There is no more fun to have on a free day or night in Roma! We enjoyed the experience making pasta and tiramisu so much we booked it four our last night in Rome. Wonderful meal, wonderful company and straight forward instruction made it memorable each time!
I’ve spent a lot of time looking into different classes and chose this one because it wasn’t you typical pasta/tiramisu class and I am so glad I did. The kitchen was stunning, the chefs were passionate and funny (ciao Alessandro and Marco!) and we’ve made delicious food. The wine was free flowing, every detail was thought through. This is probably THE highlight of our trip to Rome. Thank you!
The cooking class was very good. We made 3 different gelatos, suppli and made our own pizzas. The chef directed us in making our own pizza dough and later made our own pizza using toppings of our choice. Lots of toppings to choose from. The gelatos were made from scratch then frozen. The food was delicious. The chef was great and provided us with recipe books and completion certificates.
This experience is an absolute must! Learned so much about the process of creating a delicious Italian meal, from the ingredients to the specifics of each step and origins of the dishes. And most of all it was SO FUN. The chefs and helpers were welcoming and helpful along the whole way. The pizza, pasta, and gelato were amazing at the end. We were throwing pizza dough, drinking wine, and laughing with our entire group. Would recommend to anyone looking for a thorough and enjoyable activity!
