Pasta & Tiramisu Cooking Class In Rome

Great experience all the way around. From communication through WhatsApp to the instructions and explanations during the class, I was throoughly impressed with Francesco and his guidance. The pasta was easy to make, and the sauces were simple but elegant and so tasty! We made fettuccine and spaghetti alla chitarra, and ravioli (hand-shaped and cut) from the same dough. And then, hand-made gelatto--so rich and creamy! Prosecco while we cooked, and wine while we ate, this was a real highlight of my one day in Rome!

Very informative and hands on for learning to make pasta. It was a quick 2 hour class where you get to eat what you make. Fun space to learn and an easy size class, I had three total in our session. Francesco was fun to learn from and teach us how to be successful at home.

What a delightful and informative class! Chef Francesco guided us step by step through the processes and if a problem arose he showed us how to fix it and make it work. We were in the class with one other couple and it was such fun. When I get back home I will definitely give my newfound knowledge a try.

This was easily one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had! The class was amazing, especially for the price. Two pastas that were delicious and the best tiramisu I’ve had in Rome. I went with my husband and it was the perfect date idea! It was just us and another couple so it was super intimate and fun every step of the way. I had a great time learning to make fettuccine, ravioli, and tiramisu all from scratch. Seriously if you’re looking for a cooking class you can’t go wrong with this. In depth, quicker than most, and the most delicious food. Host is skilled and amazing to guide you!

really nice experience overall. the location was very unique (inside an ancient roman grotto) and the atmosphere felt warm and relaxed. the place itself is super special (inside an ancient roman grotto !!!), and the whole vibe felt really warm and welcoming, the cheese tasting was amazing, we tried so different types and actually learned a lot without it feeling like a lecture and then the pasta making part was sooo fun ⭐️ it was very hands-on, easy to follow, and the team made everyone feel comfortable, also the final result was insanely good!!!!! honestly one of the best experiences i’ve had so far. would 100% recommend if you’re looking for something fun, social, and a bit different 🫶

Next time you're in Rome definitely book a cooking class with Cantiere Gastronomico. I took the class with a friend and we had such a great time. The chef loves to cook and you could totally tell. He explained everything thoroughly and made sure we were doing every step correctly. We made pasta from scratch, drank proseco and ended the evening making a tiramisu. Everything tasted so fresh! More importantly, we laughed the whole time. It was such a beautiful and authentic experience in the eternal city. Grazie mille!

This 2 hour cooking class was the best activity I did on my trip to Rome! The chefs are so friendly and helpful and they speak multiple languages so it is pretty inclusive. They provided some information about the history of the dishes we made and also gave us tips on how to get the best out of our ingredients. The class includes learning to make a pasta dish and a tiramisu as well as a glass of prosecco and a polaroid picture if you wish. I highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Rome!
