This tour was excellent- we did the Pantheon guided tour with surrounding squares. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about her subject- I'm pretty sure her name was Chiara. Her accent was pretty thick, but eventually we got use to it. She really knew her stuff, and told some great stories about both the Pantheon and the squares, highlighting special statues or parts of the building worth knowing about. She was also very patient with the crowds and the children on the tour. While we didn't book this as a private tour, it was definitely a very small group, so we felt like we had a lot of attention and had all our questions answered. The Pantheon is an amazing building, and getting to see it with a guide who explained it in depth is well worth it!

Very knowledgeable and loved the info regarding the pantheon n the 4 squares!! And what it took to build the pantheon n its still in great shape!
Tour was perfect & tour guide was exceptional!! Really enjoyed learning all about Ancient Rome - thanks for a memorable experience!!
Private tour with Francesca at IKSTOUR was very good. She was very knowledgeable regarding the Pantheon.
Absolutely loved this tour! The tour guide was fantastic!! Wealth of knowledge, great sense of humor and so easy to talk too and ask questions. The content was fantastic, but it’s Rome so of course it is fantastic!!!! Highly recommend this tour and tour company
Guide likes when we ask questions. Ask What is original in the monument. Good place even on a rainy day.
Francesca was amazing! Very knowledgeable and took extra care to make sure we had a great experience. Highly recommended!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned so much! Knowing the history behind the Pantheon made our visit very enjoyable!
Guide had excellent knowledge and good humour, the best combination for a guide. She helped put the mulit-leveled history of this astonishing building into context. Can recommend without hesitation
Highly recommend him as a guide. Very informative and helpful. Went above and beyond to help me find other historical structures after the tour was over.
I booked a private tour for the pantheon and was lucky enough to have Mario as my guy this morning. We spent about 60 minutes together, exploring the exterior of the pantheon and the courtyard around it, the inside of the pantheon, and a walk in the area over to Piazza Navona. The guide was excellent. He showed me things that other people wouldn’t see as they were covered or behind awnings in the courtyard inside he was able to share with me so much about the history of the pantheon and it’s transition over to the pope, then the guided tour over to the piazza was an unexpected but wonderful gift. I highly recommend this tour and hope that you are lucky enough to get the same guide that I did.
Had a good tour with a very knowledgeable guide. It was interesting because he gave an entirely different tour of the Pantheon than the one we had several years ago. He focused more on the structure of the building rather than the artifacts, etc. So we got a whole new perspective, which was great.
Super excellent guide that loves history and makes it come alive. Jobe was awesome! 1 hour tour and the best way to see Pantheon, skip the line and immersive history told with humor.
I had a private tour lined up with a private guide who cancelled only hours before we were scheduled to go. I reached out to Viator at the last second to get in on a group tour, a group outing not being what I had had in mind. Well the guide was absolutely fantastic and did a wonderful job of providing information and ushering us through the site. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking to experience Pompeii in a meaningful way. We were delayed in getting to the site due to extreme traffic congestion and the company was guide group was very helpful and professional in making sure we could proceed with a Plan B, very good on logistics. Great job and so much appreciated!! Thank you!!
Our group was small and our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. The tour started right on time, and our guide was easy to follow.
The guide was on time and then gave a very informative tour. She was quite knowledgeable and answered every question. We added the additional visits to our tour and were awestruck by the insights and information. Unfortunately I forgot our guides name but we went on Sept 9th at 530 so if your reading this we thank you again.
Guide was very knowledgeable The additional sites on the tour set good context for the Pantheon. Advance tickets was key to avoid long lines
Loved the small group. Mia was an excellent guide. Very friendly, took her time and showed interest in each person. Highly recommend this tour.
Great tour guide. Very very knowlegeable. We really enjoyed the walk around the Pantheon over to the other church and.our tour guide was nice enough to take pics of the whole family..
Our tour guide deserves a raise. We’ve done over 7 tours this trip to Europe and our guide was by far the best. If the company is reading this review, keep this man at all costs.
The good: our tour guide gave a clear, interesting and enjoyable presentation while guiding us quickly through the Pantheon which is wonderful. The bad: we were left waiting at the agreed meeting point at the specified time and were eventually taken to join another tour. We expected the tour to end inside the Pantheon so we could have some time on our own to enjoy it - instead we were ushered out quickly.
The tour guide was terrific. She made the experience a family memory we will never forget. Thank you so much
Could barely hear the tour guide. It was also very hard to make out her accent. I did not feel like I got my money’s worth.
Our guide was polite and friendly. He was knowledgeable about the area and took us to a number of piazzas and squares in addition to the Pantheon. It was a great tour and I would recommend it.
Excellent choice! Our tour guide gave us very interesting information, she was very polite and helpful
Excellent tour. Our guide was patient and knowledgeable. He provided a good overview of the history from origination to present day he made it fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour.
I see this tour as an introductory tour to Rome and a segue into what to expect in this one of a kind city. It's short, but informative and the guide does a wonderful job leading the tour from beginning. His knowledge and sense of humor made the tour a pleasant experience overall.
Learning about the building’s history and construction was fascinating. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very accommodating of our questions. His study and preparation helped us understand the importance of the building. The walk around the neighborhood was an unexpected bonus.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Great experience. He was friendly, on time and answered our questions.
Excellent tour! Our guide, Nastassi (sp?) was extremely informative and thorough. The Pantheon is not huge so it was great that he went into very granular details of the structure. The tour is fast, and I highly recommend booking for the ease of not having to wait in line and receiving an informative tour.
Skip the line option was very worthwhile getting into the Pantheon. Even early in the morning, it made the difference of perhaps 30-45 minutes of wait time. Our guide was very informative and knew his subject very well. This tour transformed a perhaps 15 minute visit, looking at unknown objects in the Pantheon to a very interesting one hour tour.
Guide was late, we were left out in the pouring rain waiting for him. Lazy effort was put into explaining the history of the pantheon with a lack of formality or professionalism and much more of a casual approach used. Out of the seven guided tours we did in the past two weeks, this one ranks the worst easily. I never leave bad reviews, but this was insulting.
We were met at the meeting point right in front of the building by two of the company employees. They advised which guide would be taking us into the Pantheon, and were introduced to the other people in the group. There were just four of us in during our visit , so no need to use the wireless receivers which would have been required had there been more. We were given an overview of the history of the building and shown many points which without a guide you just would not have seen or known about. The enthusiasm shown by our guide was great, and she answered many questions which we asked her. The tour was for 45 minutes, but at no point did you feel our guide was ‘watching the clock’. Our visit was over the hour and we felt it was worth every penny! The skip the line options was invaluable.
Tour guide and as extremely informative about the Pantheon. A lot of details about the structure of the Pantheon. Extremely passionate about the history of Rome. Wonderful tour!
The scale of the Pantheon was amazing. I recommend adding the additional tour of the piazzas nearby the Pantheon. It provides a good context to the surrounding area.
Paul has deep deep knowledge about Rome and it’s history, but he said little about the Pantheon. It would probably have been better to do our own self-guided tour.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided a great tour. There is a lot packed into the pantheon!
This was our second small group, skip the line tour with Touriks, booked using Viator. Meeting arrangements were faultless and the tour started on time. Special mention for our guide, Francesca, who was informative and amusing throughout the tour of the Pantheon. We also booked the additional tour of 3 nearby piazzas, which we would definitely recommend. The group reduced to three of us and Francesca ditched the radios and walked us through the sunny streets and piazzas explaining the statues, history and even the complexities of eating like a local...now I know what time I should stop drinking cappuccinos! A great experience!
What a rip off! I paid just under €80 for a tour which lasted 32 minutes!!!! If you book via Rome Tickets you pay €13 each!!
There were only two of us on the tour even though this was not classed as a private tour. The guide was knowledgeable but the tour was only just over an hour long so perhaps quite expensive for what we got.
Francesca arrived on time and at the designed meeting location. She was knowledgable on the locations we visited, she was very friend and I really enjoyed this guided tour.
Despite the heavy rain, it was a very good tour. My guide, Paul, was very into the subjects he was presenting and he knew a lot; answering even distantly related questions. The tour allowed me to see the Pantheon like I myself could have never. I think it's only a bit pricy for its length. Still recommended.
Excellent tour, really friendly informative guide, made it very interesting and brought the history to life. Thoroughly recommended.
The tour was great, but because of the small venue, not as impressive as the Coliseum or Vatican tours
The group was small but the tour guy was boring. It wasn’t engaging the tour guide had a thick accent and did not make the tour fun
Our guide (sorry fog is name) was excellent, there was only 6 of us in the tour Provided us with a lot of information. We did the additional walking tour after, which was only 2 of us, which was great
Pros: The guide was very good. He was relaxed, well-informed, patient and respectful. I was delighted to discover that, even though we were the only couple to sign up for the second half of the tour (Piazza della Minerva, Tempio di Adriano, Piazza Navona and more), he stuck with us on what evolved into a private tour. Cons: The guide did not issue any audio equipment. (Perhaps the equipment is not allowed in the Pantheon.) The guide was soft-spoken and had a deep voice. It was a busy day and the crowd noise prevented me from hearing a few parts of the guide's presentation. In fairness, younger tourists may not have experienced this issue.
My party and I were scheduled to see the Pantheon on 9/22 @ 5:30pm and got cancelled cause of a private event that was scheduled last minute. The frustrating part is the tour agency called me the day of the tour letting me know. The only up side to my review was I was able to get a full refund. When booking the Pantheon just keep in mind plans can change "very" last minute.
Daniel was very informative and made the tour worth dealing with in the heat and large crowds all around. Thank you.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the Pantheon! I would recommend this tour.
