I cancelled some other tours so I could sign up with LVG. The best decision I made! Excellent tours with hidden gems and historical accuracy!

Linda and I had a lovely time.Right off the bat we went to the wrong place to meet up with the guide and she was very patient letting us catch up early in the tour.The tour itself was informative and personal,the guide was excellent and was always ready to answer any questions not just tell us things,we really appreciated that and 2+ hours went by in a flash.Would highly recommend this company.

Federica is a fabulous guide - we have booked directly with her in the past, and would absolutely choose her again. There were only 4 of us, and we were already familiar with some of the stops, but she was able to tell us details that we would not have known otherwise.

We were in Rome over New Year's Eve, from the 25th to the 26th, and had previously booked a tour with Federica as our tour guide. The tour this July was arranged individually for my 60th birthday along with friends. Federica did not disappoint us this time either. She lives and loves her job as a tour guide and brings "Italy History to Life." I can wholeheartedly recommend the Live Virtual Guide with its tours. Our tour with Federica was the best experience we had in Rome. We spent days wandering around, enjoying the views, food, and drinks the city had to offer, without noticing the small details in every corner that create Rome’s unique aura. This is not a historical tour filled with Wikipedia-style lectures here and there — it’s an anthropological look at Rome’s past from a fun and engaging perspective. We can’t wait to come back and do more tours with them!

Federka was knowledgeable and very fun to tour with. She brought the oast to life fir me and was able to answer all questions. Her tours are terrific and my only regret was that i did not get to spend more time learning about Ancient Rome with Federika. I believe she so much information to share that two hours is just not enough time. They way she tells the history is exciting and fun which makes the tour time fly by. Steven Rodriguez

Great tour getting to see the parts of Rome that are easily missed unless you have someone to show you. Tour has a capacity of just 12 so its very easy to participate. Our tour guide was Federica and she delivered the tour with great enthusiasm and fantastic story telling.Don,t think twice about booking an LVG tour its worth every cent.

Definitely select this tour as you skip the entrance lines which are extremely long; even within there are times you circumvent long waits! Davide was excellent and gave such a wonderful narrative making it informative for the tour! He knows the important aspects and always gave time for questions!! Your tge right length enough to capture more than the highlights!!

This tour was a great way to learn the history and unique stories of Rome. The small group setting allows for a lot of interaction and the audio assistance worked great to easily hear our guide. She had a book of photos to show the history. I’ve been to Rome four times and learned so many new things! Highly recommend!

On a perfect day, right in the middle of busy Easter week, our small group of eight found each other with Francesca, our guide. The walking pace was very manageable for people with various abilities, Francesca had that perfect combination of being friendly and knowledgeable and accessible. We were held captive by the interesting stories she spoke about and her experience was clearly strong. For such a busy day the tour was well paced. I would recommend.

This was a very thorough tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide Frederica. There were only 6 of us so it felt very intimate and personalized. The tour was longer than expected and even had a surprise Caravaggio viewing. Highly recommend booking any of these tours. We also left with an incredible dinner recommendation that was very close to our end spot.

I joined the Rome Historic Center tour with Underground Piazza Navona and while there were definitely interesting moments, the overall experience felt a little uneven. Our guide introduced herself as an archaeologist, and her depth of knowledge was clear from the start. She had a lot of fascinating facts and insights about the places we visited. However, the way the stories came out felt more like spontaneous bits and pieces rather than a cohesive narrative. As a result, I found myself getting lost at times because the information didn’t always flow naturally from one point to the next. The tour was described as a slow, relaxing walk, but it didn’t quite feel that way. One of the participants was in a wheelchair, and several of our stops were at roadside areas with passing traffic. It would have helped a lot if the guide had taken a moment at each stop to position the group somewhere comfortable and safe—ideally where we could sit and take in the sights while listening. Instead, she seemed very focused on delivering her spiel, often standing in places where it was hard to settle in or even hear properly. I genuinely appreciate the guide’s expertise, and the route itself is beautiful, but with a bit more attention to pacing, storytelling flow, and group comfort—especially for guests who may need mobility considerations—the experience could have been much more enjoyable.

What an amazing tour yesterday with Simone! This is our fourth different LVG tour in the last three years. Simone had an amazing sense of humor and engaged with us both seriously and also jokingly. He was simply amazing. What knowledge! His wealth of the intricate, the hidden and off the beaten path details is what always makes LVG tours so special to us! He made all the stops come to life with subtle background details and the way he explained and described each location. After the tour, he was gracious enough to spend some extra minutes with us answering historical questions we had about church history, which was completely outside the realm of our tour! Simone had such a wide range of knowledge! We look forward to our next LVG tour!

It was very interesting tour. We've been to Rome several times, but this one was showing us unusual places and unique details never been or seen. Two and half hours of walking in piazzas, churches and Pantheon. It was only four of us, and tour was interactive, so we can ask as many questions as we would like. The guide spoke excellent English; she was very knowledgeable about history or facts about Rome or Roman Empire. My friend even asked tricky questions and she knew the answer!

Great tour of a small part of Centro storico with a very well informed and friendly guide Federica! Personal and friendly she explained hidden secrets unknown to most tourists.
