Programme varied with both popular and some less well known arias. The soprano was excellent, her range and delivery were outstanding. The tenor's delivery was at times weak. The pianist whilst very exact in terms of note precision, lacked fluidity. The on-line posting for this event gave a finish time of 8:45pm. It actually finished at 8:15pm. Poor support. ie. Nobody to give guidance or directions to the post event meal. Not good value for money!

Itinerary
We would like to invite tourists visiting Rome to an opera concert presenting the most beautiful opera arias and the most famous melodies of classical music composed by the greatest Italian composers: Verdi, Rossini, Puccini, Bellini, Vivaldi, Leoncavallo and Mascagni. Moreover, you will be overjoyed by listening magic neapolitan songs. The program is presented by grand piano which accompany exceptional tenor and soprano soloist in opera arias and neapolitan songs. Concerts take place in magnificent Waldesian Church (via IV Novembre 107) with an exceptional acoustics. The church is situated in an historical building in the center of Rome, only 300 metres walk from Piazza Venezia. A romantic walk around Piazza Venezia and Pantheon after the concert will be a perfect culmination of the musical evening.
After the concert we would like to invite guests for regional, tasty dinner served in cozy, family, Italian restaurant - Enoteca Corsi (address: Via del Gesu 87/88, 00186 Rome). Enoteca Corsi restaurant is visited not only by tourists but also by Roman residents, which is the best recommendation of this place. The restaurant is situated closed to Pantheon and 7 minutes walk from the concert venue. Guests can choose from two menus Starter: Italian antipasto Main course: Mezzemaniche all'Amatriciana (pasta w bacon, tomato sauce & pecorino cheese) Or Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe (spaghetti pasta w pecorino cheese & black peppers) Second Course: Roasted veal with potatoes or Bufalo Mozzarella cheese with fresh tomatoes and basil Dessert: Home made dessert of the day Water, bread included in the price Since only the freshest produce is used, the menu is subject to variation.

Reviews
My expectations for quality of performance as well as the dinner were higher than what was delivered.
The opera consisted of three musicians. A pianist, a tenor and a soprano. They performed a medley of opera songs. Some with the tenor, some with the soprano and some with both. The pianist performed additional solo pieces throughout the 1.5 hour concert. As for the dinner - the restaurant was beautiful and they had a lot of locals and the main menu food looked incredible. Unfortunately for the tour package they had an assortment of food that was uninspiring. It was broken into multiple courses. If you like a lot of different small portions - this will be for you. I would have preferred a large entree with a salad. The beef rib plate looked very good at the adjoining table. Overall I would have preferred the meal decoupled from the opera - but that was just my preference. The service was great and the food was good.
We wanted to introduce opera to our group of 17 year olds. We were nine of the 27 people in attendance and the event took place at the Waldensian church/theatre. We were enticed by the description and beautiful photo showing a group of singers and decor on the stage of the most beautiful arias. I will say that what you see in the advertisement is not what you get, at all. The church, while interesting is rather run down and I would say in disrepair. The male and female singers( one of each) had a difficult time coordinating their pieces, and never ended together. Though talented, not a well oiled machine. The pianist was campy, and begged for applause repeatedly. The show was to be 1 1/2 hours, but it was under an hour. The restaurant claimed to be a meer 600 meters away but it took a good 20 minutes to walk there. For the positives: we did introduce a bit of opera to the group. The restaurant, though a fair walk, was a fixed menu for theatre goers and solved the dinner issue. The funny thing is, I said the next group we bring in the fall will be for the Freddie Mercury instead of this show. Haha I just looked only to find, it’s the same crew! Ouch! I’m out!
Lovely experience with beautiful voices and piano!!! Dinner was at traditional Italian trattoria and was delicious ✨
The dinner restaurant was excellent. The concert rather than a single themed performance was a mix of composers works. The performers were excellent though.
The concert was very enjoyable, but only 2 singers- a tenor and a soprano accompanied by a pianist. They sang the usual arias one would expect. We chose a late lunch- around 2, instead of a very late dinner. The restaurant was a very pleasant surprise, a delicious 4-course meal surrounded by locals.
We booked for a show dinner . We were notified at 3.30 that dinner was cancelled . Show was meant to last 1 hour 15 minutes . Show lasted 50 minutes . Picture in advert showed many performers . There were only 3 performers . We are are the opinion that we should receive a full refund for the show and the dinner .
Not the program expexted Too short Terrible food what is there to say more it was supposed to be many operas pieces instead songs the voices were ok the pianist less than good
Wonderful time in a well organized dinner/concert evening. Dinner was classy and awesome! The tenors show was magical in the small church venue near the restaurant. The acoustics and visuals were fantastic. This experience left a wonderful memory in our minds and in our hearts!
Opera was great, shorter than advertised (only lasted about an hour) but that may have been do to outside circumstances. Food for the dinner was good not great but staff was very friendly. Would recommend.
beautiful tenor and soprano singing in an intimate settings, backed by an extremely talented pianist. Absolutely wonderful
Great performance and kept our kids entertained. Totally worth it and highly recommend taking your family.
The opera and piano solos were most enjoyable, and the complementary fruit juice cocktail during the intermission was a nice touch. The dinner after the concert was good too with tasty traditional Italian food and friendly service.
Misleading 15 in the poster, just 2 singers and pianist in the performance. the singers were ok, the pianist was very average- you would expect a lot more for the cost. The gentleman host was not very helpfu; when i asked for directions for the dinner - said it was on the booking but i needed some directions - he said go down and turn right - very poor - spend 15 minutes looking for the restaurant - food was ok at the restaurant , restaurant staff were very nice. Save your money
Terrible tour. Do not waste your time or your money. The picture shows 14 performers, there were 3. It says including wine, it was orange juice. It says with dinner, there was no dinner the restaurant is closed. The worst tour ever.
The concert was amazing - breathtaking singers and pianist- would highly recommend - 5* performances all round. We didn’t have the meal as the restaurant owners had gone on holiday. However we received a prompt refund which we were very happy with.
The dinner, although a bit out of the way, was great. However, was misled by the ad that showed up to 20 professionally dressed people with instruments. Expected much more than just 3 persons singing.
This was the most amazing experience!! The quality of the singing was simply unbelievable - a truly unforgettable performance.
Wonderful intimate concert. My father said that it was his best birthday present. Dinner was also fantastic. Make sure you are hungry, as the portions were large. Very tasty though.
A wonderful way to spend a Sunday evening. Listening to heart stopping numbers one after the other. Intimate audience numbers simple but enjoyable.
It was not as advertised, far from it. The opera was okay but the venue left a lot to be desired. Definitely not worth the money.
Performers were excellent and venue had great acoustics. Audience was very appreciative of performers. Venue was very warm as was Rome. Otherwise very good aria selections and execution. Did not perform all selections in the program and program was a little short of advertised. Juice was served instead of wine as advertised at intermission.
An amazing experience. The Soprano was just mesmerising. The setting inside the Waldesian Church gave the performance a different dimension.
Excellent performance by the two singers. My first opera and I enjoyed it very much. The meal afterwards was lovely.Authentic Italian restaurant.Very enjoyable evening.
Superb! The music was so marvelous that I had tears in my eyes the entire time. I was moved by their passionate performance. I will smile for the rest of my life thinking about this marvelous evening. I will make this a must every time I am in Rome. I highly recommend this Opera. The restaurant was so kind to us as well. They let us stay late so we could keep relishing the evening. I loved the swordfish!
Beautiful church and wonderful singers. And a really nice dinner in an Italian rerestaurant afterwards.
The operaexpirience was fairly GOOD - but there was only two singers and a pianist performing. Save the money for the dinner, and eat somewhere else.
The singing was great but would have liked more instrumental pieces other than just the piano. The dinner was great and the hostesses at the dinner very friendly.
The opera was good, out of all the songs sang I kew about 3 or so. A 15 min. break in the middle where they served orange juise. The walk to the rest. without GPS would have been HARD to find, a good 10 min. walk. The dinner was EXCELLENT, the BEST meal we had the whole 3-days in Rome. Highly recommended. "The TV Man"
Opera da Camera di Roma is a fantastic venue with excellent acoustics, comfortable seating, and a commitment to providing a top-notch experience for the audience. The recent concert I attended was performed by world-class musicians who demonstrated their skill and passion for their craft. I highly recommend attending a concert at Opera da Camera di Roma for a truly unforgettable classical music experience.
We enjoyed the intimate experience with the Opera, but the advertisement photo led me to believe there would be a full orchestra and more than three performers. This was to celebrate my granddaughters 20th birthday. She was so looking forward to the live instruments since she was a Drum Major in high school
We loved this experience! Soprano was absolutely outstanding, such a beautiful voice, the Tenor was also outstanding, both singing together brought the audience to their feet. The piano player was fantastic, perfect playing of complex pieces. The church is a bit tired looking & one possible benefit could be simply some large, battery operated pillar candles but the acoustics were amazing. The restaurant meal was very enjoyable, a small choice of menu but every dish was very tasty. Definitely would recommend.
The most FRUSTRATING experience EVER. The advertising doesn’t match with the reality at all. If you are expecting a concert with many instruments and singers in a nice place in Rome, expect 3 people performing in the most tiny church in Rome with a very low cost piano that wasn’t even properly tuned. This experience is only to TRAP tourists that are only looking for some enjoyable activity in Rome. I DO NOT recommend. NEVER. I paid for the VIP ticket which was offered with a glass of wine, and the best seats, and instead we got ORANGE JUICE and the seats was just like everyone else. If you think the dinner is gonna be worthwhile, don’t even bother. Dinner is ok, nothing much to recover for the very bad rehearsal they give you.
Great opera and even better multi course dinner; restaurant was outstanding, well return to cuisine and service
The opera was fantastic the meal after was not so good. The portions were small served on tiny side plates. We had to wait 30min to be seated and was served like second rate customers. Save your money and buy only the opera ticket and go elsewhere for better food.
The singing. There was a delay due to a car accident but they show went on. You need better directions to the restaurant. It was difficult to find and it was hard to find a taxi afterwards.
Concert was excellent, well done. Meal was 4 course meal in a local e tote a. Wine available for dinner was small, good selection. Service was excellent.
The Opera was a lovely sample of culture and the meal was a lovely surprise with 4 courses in a traditional restaurant that we weren't expecting great evening out to finish our tour of Roma!!
Beautiful songs! Incredible voices! Relax music! Wonderful time! Delicious dinner after show! Excellent opera concert!
It’s ok for first Timers to an Opera that want to experience it to see if the full Opera would be for them, how ever the meal after is Not worth it! The venue was changed on the day and the restaurant did not have time for us at all , kind of resented us being there. I have complained and was advised I would get a refund for the meal part but have yet to receive that
We had a great evening in Rome thanks to Opera da Camera di Roma. Both – concert and dinner were wonderfull experiance. Concert contains a very good selection of well known opera songs performed by charismatic and talented musicians. The acoustics in the church were very good. Dinner at the local Italian restaurant was superb! We highly recommend it!
Very nice performance, I leaned classic singing over ten years and this performance was very professional. Unforgettable night absolutely!
The concert lasted 45 minutes. The room was very hot. We were the only attendees at dinner: the rest did not know how to get to the restaurant.
First time opera and we loved it! A must if you visit Rome!!
Wonderful concert, I got excited!!! Excellent professionals! I fully recommend it. Dinner was very good, very nice place. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
A little surprised that the planned program was not followed and that the artists were only 3. However, this in no way affected their energies and talents. I highly recommend for those who want to have a great evening.
The church was very plain and located on a large street. You could always hear traffic. The "drink" during the break was multivitamin juice. The quality of the voices was more characterized by volume. And don't be fooled by the photo in the brochure. A soprano, a tenor and a pianist. No strings or anything like that. Dinner was in a restaurant a few streets away. When we got there, there were no tables free. After waiting for a while, we moved on and ended the evening at our own expense. After complaining to the agent classicTic, there was no response even after almost 2 months. No recommendation and a wasted evening.
Very good soloists. The pianist was also very good. A little small church, but it is very centrally located. OK acoustics. But very hard/painful benches to sit on. Also fun with famous arias.
The Opera da Camera di Roma is a great opera and one of the better attractions in Italy, and the dinner was delicious.
