Our driver Achmed was Excellent. He was very courteous and wanted to make sure we had great experience and he succeeded.

Our Sunday evening tour turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our time in the city. My wife and I explored Rome by car at night with our guide, Ahmed, taking in many of the city’s most iconic outdoor landmarks beautifully illuminated after dark—from the Colosseum to the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. What made the experience stand out wasn’t just the convenience and beauty of seeing Rome at night, but Ahmed himself. He was playful, engaging, and clearly passionate about the city. Rather than overwhelming us with a flood of dates and names, he layered the history in a way that felt natural and compelling, giving us meaningful insight into the many eras that have shaped Rome. In just a couple of hours, he managed to provide a rich, thoughtful overview of the city—something that felt both efficient and deeply immersive. It served as the perfect orientation, helping us identify the places we wanted to return to and explore more fully at our own pace. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique and engaging introduction to Rome. It’s an ideal way to get your bearings while also experiencing the magic of the city at night.

This is unbelievable, that a guide would tell to leave your purse in the car. Say he’s locking the car, 7 minutes later at the car, no broken windows and 2 purses are gone. We exited each from our own doors. I placed my jacket over the 2 purses in the middle of the seat. My passport, credit card, and monies were all stolen. The owner, who we were told has insurance to cover this. Insisted that we lost our own purses. And would do nothing to help. The driver Mohammed did not lock the car. He is inexperienced, and did not take responsibility for his actions…DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Again DO DOT USE THIS COMPANY

Terrible experience. Tour guide urged us ro leave our hand bags in rhe van and assured he was locking the van. (We had been previously taking our bag with is when we got out of the van being experienced travellers) . At the Spamish Step when we got back in rhe van our handbags were GONE. STOLEN. Either 1) The inexperienced guide - he admitted he was only four months on job - was EXTREMELY NEGLIGENT and failed to make sure car was locked or 2) He was in on the SCAM. He told us he had insurance and when we contacted Assam who claims to be the owner of the company (it sounds like someone is answering a personal cell when you call) he basically laughed and said “to bad so sad you list your purse’. We were out cash, had to change credit cards and my travelling companion had her passport stolen resulting in thousands of dollars!!! A police report was filed with the Carabineri and an investigation is ongoing against MUHAMMed the tour guide who knows mothing about Roman history.

We enjoyed our private tour. Assam was very knowledgeable and explained a lot to us. Would recommend.

I didn't think about seeing Rome at night until I saw this tour offered, and I'm so glad it was. We've been to Rome a couple times and had random views at night, but this tailored tour for night scenes was surprisingly enjoyable. There is always more to learn about Rome, and our driver and guide, Mohamed, did not disappoint. Do not let his name fool you; he is very Roman. He has owned and operated a restaurant here until recently, so he knows his city! The van was very comfortable and Mohamed is a skilled driver (you have to be to drive in Rome!). He took us to all the obvious venues, but then took us to a "secret keyhole" in an embassy door someplace to peer through and see the dome of St.Peter's Basilica framed in glowing lights; very cool and fun. We recommend this tour to experience Rome from a different perspective.

This is a good but more expensive way to see Rome at night. It suited our schedule as we arrived in late afternoon. Our driver took us to all the key attractions including the Vatican, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum and even to Gianicolo Hill with a panoramic view. At times I struggled to understand the drivers commentary so have rated a 4 rather than a 5.

So different and wonderful to see Rome at night. Informative driver Alan and guide Valery were great. We were picked up at our hotel on time, and toured the Spanish Steps, Via dei Condotti, Fontana della Barcaccia, Trevi Fountain and the viewpoint at Il Fontanone on the Janiculum Hill. Additionally, the drive around Rome by many other sites, such as the Colosseum and Vatican City, was comfortable and scenic. Well worth it.

Our guide was very kind, pleasant, attentive and informative. We had just arrived in Rome and this was a wonderful way we caught the highlights.

Allen and his partner were fabulous! Took us to all the hot spots and with teenagers—they wanted photos, a little history and we were on to the next stop! What would have taken 3 days—-took us a little over 2 hours. It was perfect! Night tour was spectacular!

We visited quiet piazzas, illuminated ruins, and even stopped for gelato. Our guide let us set the tone ,whether we wanted to talk, take photos, or just enjoy the stillness of Rome after dark.

Mauro was PHENOMENAL!! He was very patient while we took pictures and knowledgeable about this tour and took us to all popular attractions. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the tour, but it could've been a lot better. The van has tinted dark windows, which for a night tour makes it hard to see. And the wiring was faulty so the light inside kept flashing, especially unpleasant for a night tour. As for the tour itself, Mauro is accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly, but is not talented at storytelling and being engaging with his tour. Many dates and facts, but they get a bit repetitive and he could've made things more interesting by focusing on interesting trivia or stories.

Seeing Rome’s famous spots like the Colosseum and the Spanish Steps under the stars was a completely different experience. The guide was knowledgeable and gave us great insights while we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the city at night. It felt like we had Rome all to ourselves!

This night tour was so relaxing. The city was quieter, and the landmarks like the Trevi Fountain looked magical with the lights. The private tour made it easy to explore without any stress.

What a wonderful way to see Rome! The night views of the city were breathtaking, and our guide shared so many interesting stories. Walking through the quiet streets and seeing places like the Pantheon in the evening was unforgettable. Perfect tour for a calm and beautiful night in Rome!

Rome looked so beautiful with all the lights, and our guide made the experience even better. We saw famous spots like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain all lit up, and it felt magical. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Rome!

Achmed, was very professional and knowledgeable on Rome and Itailan history. I learned things I hadn't known before..

The young man did his best for his first or second tour ever. He needed training or mentoring. He was very polite, but too quiet. There were no stories or historical information related to the sites that we chose to go to. He had no itinerary and we had to come up with ideas for where to go and what to do. He was very accommodating in taking family photos, very polite and respectful and he arrived promptly. He is a very good driver (and photographer), but not a tour guide (at least not yet). We paid for a tour guide and got a driver. The van was nice, however, our evening in Rome was not worth the money we paid at all. We strongly believe this tour was misrepresented in your material. I think we deserve to get half our money back, especially given how many other tours we booked on Viator.

Our driver and guide Mauro was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! He drove us all around to some of the top spots in Rome. Although we couldn't stop at all of them, we did stop at most! He knew where the best photos of the city could be taken and gave us free time to wander and take pics.

The night tour was great because we got to see the Colisseo, Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and other landmarks lit up. The tour guide was very informative.

We wanted to see and photograph Rome at night. Our driver was super Fab and took us everywhere we wanted. He was gracious and friendly and made the whole evening pan out exactly the way we wanted.. door to door. SUCH A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.

Rome looks so different at night, and it is an experience you don’t want to miss. I feel 2 hrs was too short, though. Assem was very professional, and driver/guide Mr Ahmed was simply awesome.

This was an experience that we will remember for a long time. Our driver Mauro was so knowledgeable about Rome and it's history. He stopped whenever we asked so we could walk closer and take photos. 10/10!

A wonderful tour with a great driver/ guide. The tour was flexible and our guide was able to tailor the tour to what we wanted to see. A great way to see Roma all lit up!
