Luxury Private Transfer From Fiumicino Airport To Rome Center

While it was GREAT to have a pick up already arranged ( group of 4-6 plus luggage = must have), the instructions were a little vague. After figuring out how to access message from driver ( definitely download WhatsApp), waiting for him to come in to find us, the walk to the car was somewhat lengthy. We had several older (80-ish) people in our party and that bit was unexpected. All that said, the drive in to Rome went seamlessly and were dropped off right in front of our hotel. 100% would do it again.

They charge me 100 more Euro one day before service, forwarded already my address of the hotel 6 months at least prior then they realized far from the airport , they should NOT charge me more, the read my booking 6 months prior

Giorgio texted his arrival and was front and center with a sign so it was easy to see him. He took both of my suitcases and had us out of the airport 15 minutes before our original reservation time. Great experience!

The line to get through Customs at Rome Airport was very long and I relayed this information to the driver but he would not wait and would not respond further to my communication. I requested a refund from Viator but they would not provide my money back. We ended up hiring a driver on our own.

Driver made it easy to find him. Kept in touch on how to communicate with home and find him. Very comforting when. You arrive to a country where you don’t speak the language.

The overall experience was good. The driver was waiting for us with a sign that had our names on it. He helped us with our bags and was attentive to having A/C on as he drive us to the city center. (We traveled on a very hot day in the summer). We would book again.

Driver got here over an hour before my appointment time and then left without us. We were told they got here when the flight arrived it took over an hour to get though border control.

The vendor does not communicate well. Said driver would contact me after landing FCO. I informed them we had landed and heard nothing. They never designated a meeting spot - FCO has two exits at terminal 1 - we eventually found driver ourselves. Taxi is about one third the price - fixed currently at 55 Euros and easier, less costly.

They ask for Flight Number, etc. but when ithe flight was late and clearing entry took 2 hours they said they would not wait and would require extra charges and took no responsibility to know what was going on at the airport.

Our driver, Carlos, provided a truly comfortable and seamless transfer from the airport to our hotel. The drive was just over an hour, and after a long 12+ hour flight, we were completely exhausted. Thankfully, Carlos’s smooth and careful driving allowed us to rest peacefully for most of the journey. He was respectful of our need to sleep and did not disturb us, which we greatly appreciated. Carlos was professional, courteous, and attentive throughout the experience. His calm demeanor and consideration made a noticeable difference, turning what could have been a tiring transfer into a restful and pleasant ride. We are very grateful for his excellent service and would highly recommend him.

I booked a Private Transfer from Fiumicino Airport to Rome Center through Viator. After landing, I informed the driver I was going through customs, which took a long time, followed by a delay due to a misplaced bag. The driver never mentioned any waiting time limit or that he would be leaving. When we finally exited, he was gone. Leaving us stranded at the airport despite having paid for a private transfer. Company first told me I would receive a refund but later refused. This was very disappointing since I acted in good faith, kept the driver updated, and never received the service I paid for. Poor communication and lack of accountability. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend their service.

We had an easy seamless experience. Our flight arrived in Rome at 8:00 AM but we were not scheduled to be picked up at the airport until 10:00 AM. Our driver was there and ready to transfer us to our hotel at 8:30 AM. We didn't even have to call to ask to be picked up early. He was very professional, friendly, and efficient. I will definitely use this company again.

In advance, he told me he will only be at the airport one hour. I had no problem since I assumed the hour would start at a reasonable time, maybe after our plane arrived??????? He apparently arrived at 18:35, our plane landed at 18:47, we still had to taxi to the gate, walk to baggage claim, and it was a long wait for our luggage. He left at 19:35, we had not even gotten our luggage yet. I asked for a 20:00 pickup exactly for this reason. I have screenshots to document everything and will be asking Viator to reverse the charges.

This was the single most awful experience I have ever had. We booked for six people and had three checked bags with six carry-on bags. Kids had small backpacks with them and I had a fold up mobility scooter, the size of a carry-on suitcase. When we were greeted at the airport, the driver looked at it and said oh I think we can fit all this. Then he grabbed one bag and just took off walking. Again, I’m disabled. He didn’t wait for me or my family that includes a six-year-old and three other kids. Before we took off he started taking pictures of us without consent. We finally get to the vehicle and he refuses to let us in. And he starts pacing then he loads everything into the trunk and three or four bags that were carry-ons were left and he said they’d have to be inside with us. We said that’s fine and loaded in finally. At that point, he started taking pictures of the family without consent again. Get on the phone and starts yelling at somebody in pacing back-and-forth clearly angry about the luggage situation. My kids are tired. It’s like almost 10pm and he puts some lady on who starts yelling that the “extra luggage” needs to go in a taxi because they are refusing to take it saying it is unsafe for no reason. Keep in mind we had the number of bags it states in their listing you can have in fact we were under that per person and we were under the total number of people allotted. So I said fine at this point because I just wanted to get the family there safely and sent my husband and one of the kids with the couple of bags in a cab. The driver said nothing the entire trip and when we got there threw us out on the curb told me to get my own luggage and didn’t even help me bring things in the door. Again, I’m disabled, and he knew that because he kept complaining about my scooter of which we never asked him to even touch. My kids were terrified by the entire experience. This was beyond unprofessional and pretty disgusting introduction to the country. Never again.
