I got scammed by this company while selecting the tickets under Leonardo museum in piazza del poppolo, they have sold me another Leonardo museum ticket which is kilometers away from there and could not use the ticket as it was later than 18.00. How come they are selling a ticket which is not the exact location???

Amazing, well done museum. Educational and fun. Learned so much, it was well worth the time and cost.
Short and easy visit - very suitable for kids with plenty of experience to try. The building itself is beautiful. Ideal as an « end of day » visit
Was as expected, it was interesting but short. Good for kids who are studying Leonardo in school. A short detour but nit a main attraction
We enjoyed the experience. Wonderful sightseeing and Information. Staff were friendly too. We enjoyed the activities
I booked with Viator these tickets with English language guide , when I got to the museum they told me I needed to pay extra it was not included , really disappointing started the tour badly for us as a family
Nice, good location, perfect exposition and explanation
Since there are 3 Davinci museu.s in Roma, it is easy to get confused and visit the wrong place. Please be more clear about the address.
Amazing museum. Some say it is a small museum but I thought it was fantastic and enjoyed every second of it. Took me about an hour to wander through it
If you are a fan of Da Vinci, then this museum is for you. The museum depicts his technological and scientific genius through his numerous inventions which are shown here as models. In addition, the museum has a replica of all his paintings (the originals are scattered across many museums including the Louvre). The museum is somewhat small but it has a gift shop that sells copies of his paintings. We bought our ticket on the spot as there is not a big line to get in.
Very enjoyable museum with interesting facts and displays of Da Vinci’s works (many of which are interactive). It’s well worth 90 minutes of your time. Nice staff and gift shop too!
Small museum, but packed with inventions and a hands on experience. The ou will learn a lot about Leonardo the artist, the engineer, the craftsman…
This is was a cute exhibition, a little small though. Would recommend that you pay for the audio tour because without it you go through the exhibition pretty quickly.
What a very smart man, so many inventions which are a part of everyday living now, from ball bearings, flight, submarines, suspension bridges, laminator and the list goes on - well worth a visit😁
Overall very interesting. The walking tour audio was a little confusing. Suggest numbering them to match a voice information. Some of the exhibits were under construction or not available to physically try.
The tour was just the right amount of time and information! We learned a lot about Leonardo and it was great that the visit was immersive and interactive!
We liked the exhibition, it had several replicas of Leonardo's work. They welcomed us well, we opted for the audio guide and walked through the rooms. The location is easy to find, close to the flower field.
This was by far the most disappointing visit we did as a family in Rome. The quality of the exhibit was far below anything else we saw in the city: exhibition materials poorly maintained, disorganised rooms, significant typos and translation issues on the descriptions of both of the languages I speak as a native. Given the other decent reviews, I think perhaps what made this experience so memorably terrible for us was the fact we paid extra for the abysmal audio guide : there was only one audio track per room, with each track not following the flow of the room. It was impossible to know what part of the room the track was talking about, and it really detracted from engaging with that was on display. We are a family keen on art, engineering and science, so in theory we should have loved this exhibit. In summary: I would possibly only do this exhibit if it was heaving with rain out and you had done every other indoor activity in the city already. If you do go, certainly do NOT purchase the audio guide which was a huge detractor.
This little museum is a must see while in Rome. It has replications of many of da Vinci’s inventions, some of which predated their implementation by several hundred years. It is great for children as well, as you are permitted to touch and operate many of the replications. He designed a parachute, a printing press, a personal flying machine, a submarine, a scuba suit, a design to allow humans to walk on water, and multiple devices involving human power only. The museum is well captioned. We did not purchase the audio tour, but we saw quite a few people who did. We did not think it would be necessary, and that turned out to be true. We walked away in awe of Leonardo‘s genius. In addition, the people who staffed the ticket office were awfully nice, held onto our umbrellas and jackets, so we didn’t have to carry them around, and gave us good guidance. The museum is in the ground floor of a palazzo. Our only critique is that the lighting is poor, but we were able to read everything with the aid of our iPhone flashlights. Almost all of the explanations of the various machines were in multiple languages.
Beautifully designed museum, full of examples of Leonardo’s brilliant ideas, designs and artworks. Some of the recreations of his machines can be operated by museum-goers. When we visited on October 22, 2024, there were only a few other people in the museum, a welcome change from the hordes of tourists everywhere else we’d been in Rome. If you have even a passing interest in Leonardo and his genius, visit this lovely museum.
This is a very cool place! They have working models of some of Da Vinci’s inventions as well as excellent holograms. Great value.
The entire museum was very interesting. Enjoyed the most all the model displayed. Especially the war machines.
Tribute to genius Leonardo da Vinci. The tour is good fun for children, we could play with the replicas. Impressive how talented Leonardo was, mastering architecture, constructions, arts, natural science, etc. Highly recommended, including amusing gift shop 😀
It was very interesting and informative! Get the guided tour, those are always better. Also the models of Leonardos inventions is great!
An interesting museum that took about 2 hours to go round. Luckily it was not crowded so we could see and try the exhibits. I am not sure how good it would be if it was crowded or maybe they limit the number of people in the museum at any give time.
This was a very good display of Leonardo da Vinci’s works. I was impressed by the number of items displayed! I had an audio guide device which helped to explain and understand the items displayed.
Amazing experience for the whole family, kids and adults. We spent there few hours and could spend another few. We learned so much, had fun. The girls working there are really nice and helpful.
A fun place to spend an hour or so, especially for the youngshowcase of an amazing talent. Nice gift shop as well-
Great place to visit in Rome and very informative. There are few screens with interactive information on Leonardo Da Vinci.
It was an interesting museum with attractions that you can play with. I like the fact that it wasn´t too big.
We went directly to da Vinci Museum to ear that we had to walk 25 minutes to get the tickets!!! We bought all our tours with Viator and the agent was on the site to give us tickets. In that particular case, we don't know all the Piazza names so we didn't figured that we had to be at 2 different places to get the tour. The Opera had our name at the entrance, Viator should do the same with the di Vinci museum or have someone to meet the clients there on a time set.
I expected it to have a little more pizazz, but really it's a pretty good Leonardo museum. The building itself is interesting (there's a partial tomb of a famous person downstairs, which they discovered when the building was built way back when). The staff is friendly and helpful. Good place to go in the heat.
It is a very interesting museum and my kid loved it. It was easy to book with Viator and an easy walk from Piazza Navona. Recommend
We were expecting a little more than what we did see. I believe it was under construction but we thought there would be more to learn about. What we did see there was fascinating and some of the works you were able to touch to see how they worked.

Fantastic!! we learned so much about da Vinci and really enjoyed being able to play with his inventions

I have visited the **Leonardo da Vinci Museum: the Universal Genius and His Works at Piazza della Cancelleria 1 in Rome and I must say that it's absolutely fantastic! They have described the universal Genius in a great way, clear to visitors of any age. It's possible to understand his art, his science and engineering even through 3D holograms and you can touch almost all the inventions. At the end of the exhibition there is one extra surprise: an underground tomb in real flawing water dating from 43 BC! In fact, all the building that hosts the exhibition is just beautiful by itself.

Pretty cool, you can try almost everything and location is next to many other sightseeing so it doesn't take much time to find it or walk to it plus they have A/C there

When i arrived in Rome i heard about the exhibitions , so i when to see some exhibitions and i found a GREAT exhibitions close Campo di fiori, the exhibition by Leonardo Da Vinci .
This exhibitions is very interesting because is inside at Vatican building , the machines are FANTASTIC, you can play, read and see the mechanic function in the holograms, is funny to because you can make a Leonardo bridge and is possible see also one original catacomb by 43 a.c.

if you wanna see the exhibitions by Leonardo Da Vinci go to Piazza della Cancelleria 1 - Campo di Fiori

There are actually 3 three Leonardo da Vinci Museums in Rome. One in Piazza del Popolo not this one, another near the Vatican on Via della Conciliazione not this tour either and Palazzo della Cancelleria this listing I walked in to the first and second before finally deciding to just pay again for the one I was in since it was getting late. The museum near the Vatican was interesting if you're a da Vinci fan. There were large wooden movable models of many of his machine drawings and replicas of many of his art pieces. You don't need advance tickets for any of these museums. The desk fee was 12 euro. There was no line and actually only 1 or 2 other people in either one of them.

Really fascinating museum which shows da Vinci's inventions actually made. Quieter than other attractions so you can really get a good look round.

None of the monuments visited in Rome have a French translation; Italian, Spanish, English, but not French—we should do the same at home.
Beautiful and interesting museum of the great genius Leonardo da Vinci. Expose some of your great inventions, always ahead of their time. Exhibition of some replicas of his paintings. No queues to enter.
Beautiful museum! Starting from the Palace to the models of Leonardo's machines, almost all of which can be used.
Overall I recommend it. My two grandchildren had a great time. You can interact with the machines. Unfortunately, it is very humid and there is a strong smell of mold. I thank the shop assistant Veronica, truly welcoming and patient.
It was very good to go with the children, although the audio guide is a bit dense.
I entered without planning, because we passed the front and my husband wanted to enter. I found it very interesting, it really was worth it. The museum is small, but very complete. Da Vinci was really brilliant.
Very large museum to see. You have 2 or 3 hours to devote to a museum we recommend. Many discoveries to observe.
Serious service provider but disappointing visit, the museum is very small and they are reproductions according to Da Vinci drawings but nothing authentic nor realization of Leonardo da Vinci
A very good experience. Read the address well because several museums on Leonard is in Rome. The museum is not very large but offers a lot of reconstructed pieces with the possibility on a large part of it to test them to better understand the manufacturing process. An excellent museum to be made with children or even with family.
Beautiful, there are many of his machines and many you can touch and use. My 8 year old son we are is very amused and also built a bridge without screws! Standing behind the flowers field if you go to the center of Rome you can not go beautiful for young and old!
