Intro To Rome: Piazzas And Fountains Semi-private Tour

Fabulous introduction to Rome. We met our wonderful guide Katia at 8AM, a perfect time before the crowds arrived. We saw a lot in 2 hours! Highly recommend this tour.

The tour was great. It was just my husband and I so it was even more personal. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and took us to all the areas that were included on the tour. 2.5 hours of walking around Rome and learning so much history.

Gracelyn Monaco was phenomenal. She was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing all the little tidbits of romes history and the historc center. She made us fall even more in love with rome than we already were. She is also a great narrator. We had a great time!

Wonderful tour. Our guide, Ilaria, provided great historical and archaeological details of the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and other sights. She was very responsive to questions and made the tour very enjoyable.

The guide was very knowledgeable, like crazy amounts of info. In a good way. Lots of walking but that is the best way to see everything.

Our Tour Guide was Thomas who was very knowledgeable. He took us down narrow allies and taught us ways to get away from crowded areas and find great local restaurants while still taking in the beautiful highlights of the area. He explained the history of the different churches and some of the history of the government of Rome. He was very knowledgeable about dates.

We had Daniele as our tour guide and he was wonderful. We had a custom day tour of Rome planned along with a transfer and he met every expectation and made it a great day in Rome!

This was an excellent tour to introduce ourselves to the historic center of Rome. The most amazing part for myself was entering inside the Pantheon (even on a Sunday when it is closed shortly for mass). Our guide, Mariana, was well spoken and easy to understand. The tour was as described and all communications were well made.

Tatiana guided us through our tour on the significant night of the election of Pope Leo XIV. She knowledgably brought history, architecture, art, and the modern era together while conveying the many layers of Rome to us. A great guide!

There were only 4 of us on this tour, which was perfect. Renata, our guide, was very attentive, knowledgeable, and entertaining, and she answered all of our questions thoroughly. Lorenzo was beyond amazing! He had such a great passion about the city and all of the sites. He felt like he was a friend giving us a tour. It was me and my teenage son and we both were so impressed with the tour. We can’t stop talking about it! This was the best way to see all of the sites (plus extra stops along the way) for our first night! We forgot how tired we were as we immersed ourselves into the magic of Rome. We really enjoyed this tour. It was a very busy evening at the end of a Festive Day in Rome, but our guide, Paulo, navigated the crowds and provided a great history and introduction to some of Rome’s famous and lesser known attractions. Great tour our tour guide was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and Rome and the walking wasn’t bad at all. She took us to places that weren’t listed and they were amazing. She gave us time to take photos and get gelato. I would recommend.

Fantastic tour! Lorenzo, our tour guide, took us to all the sites and more. He was very knowledgeable of everything he showed us and even gave us tips of where you eat and enjoy ourselves after the tour. We would definitely book this tour again.

Guide was somewhat informative but seemed rushed. It was just my husband and I, and we finished much earlier than it was supposed to. We felt like we were in a hurry the whole time.

Our guide was articulate in English and knowledgeable. He walked at a leisurely pace to accommodate my wife’s limitations. He showed us interesting locations, and provided historical links between them, which we had not encountered in four prior trips to Rome. This was all excellent. However, at the end of the tour he gave a vague wave of his hand toward the far end of the Piazza and said “you can get a cab there”. In the five seconds it took me to spy out the cab stand, he had vanished. No cabs ever stopped in this poorly lit location in over 40 minutes, forcing us to walk blocks into an adjacent busy street and run down a cab that happened to be letting off other passengers. The worry and frustration this caused spoiled the tour.

Valentina was a wonderful guide full of knowledge and interesting stories! She had a great sense of humour, thus an informative and entertaining tour.

We really enjoyed our Rome at Twilight Among the Piazzas and Fountains: Evening Walking Tour with our guide Renata Kosenko. She filled in at the last minute for another guide and did a great job of guiding us through the sights in central Rome. Renate was very knowledgeable and personable making it a great tour.

Federico was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and informative. At times it was difficult to hear (the audio unit provided was poor quality). Despite not being able to hear clearly, the sights were amazing.

Very disappointing tour since we previously had tickets to the domuas aurea, which they cancelled a week prior to our visit and offered this tour as an alternative. Definitely not a good exchange.

The tour guide didn't really add much detail to what she was showing us. We could have easily gone to see the sights on our own.

We had an amazing tour. Our tour guide Maria Letizia Bruschi was so knowledgeable, explained so much that we would have never known a lot of things if we were on our own. Through Eternity Tours has great tours. We definitely recommend using them.

My family and I took the Rome at Twilight tour. It was the same tour that my wife and I took with Through Eternity 23 years ago when we were sans kids. To my great surprise, our tour guide was Tatiana, our Vatican tour guide from 23 years ago (also with Through Eternity)! She left such a strong impression with us 23 years ago and here she was doing the same thing for our kids. The tour was a great introduction of Rome for our kids. Her insight into the sights and their artists brought the city and artists to life. I recommend this tour and I think it’s a great credit to Through Eternity that Tatiana is still enlightening travelers…

We were guided by Antonella and have unfortunately been robbed just prior to start time. The guide consoled my wife and took it upon herself to walk us to the Carabinieri station and assist in filing a report. We also saw one sight. SO, this was EXCEPTIONAL and caring guidance.! (A bit of advice. Hold on to your valuables at ALL times when in Rome as the thieves are rampant. There was a line of people at the station with the same experience as us!)

What a disappointment and a waste of money! We took the tour on August 11, 2024, and it was a letdown. The tour guide was unprofessional and appeared to lack knowledge. Instead of providing a guided tour of the Pantheon, she just handed us tickets and claimed that talking wasn't allowed inside. She then led us through the streets without offering any explanations about the history or significance of the sites. In contrast, our tour of the Vatican City with Through Eternity Tours was excellent. Sadly, this one fell far short of expectations !!!

Guide was fantastic. We were tired from traveling and he customized the tour to our needs. Really enjoyed the information and seeing the sights.

Best tour we had in Italy! Brandon was superb! So knowledgeable, intelligent and funny. We learned so much and kept referring to what he told us during the remainder of our trip. Absolutely recommend!

Of the four tours we took in Rome, this one was our favorite. Brandon was great - he was very personable and really showed us some unique an interesting things that he has found in the years he has lived in Rome. Our rave review is for Brandon, but perhaps not this specific tour. Since we were the only two on the tour, Brandon didn’t follow the normal route/agenda, instead he tailored it to us, avoiding the things we had already seen and done. He made it his mission to show us things we had not yet seen, and he succeeded! More points for Brandon!

Wonderful experience overall. The tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. He took his time in taking us through all locations, answered all our questions well and lovely person. Definitely recommend this tour to someone looking to learn more about Rome in a day!

Fab,i our tour guide shared his knowledge and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. He took the time to take pictures of those who wanted in the Pantheon. We came away with a better understanding of the history of the sights/locations.

We arrived for our tour and were happily surprised that our family of 4 would be receiving a private tour for the evening. We were delighted to be shown around Rome by Brandon, who had a degree in art or Renaissance history (my apologies I can’t remember exactly what his area of expertise was in). He showed us around the city, explained the sights to us and gave us some helpful advice on where to get coffee and other items. We felt at ease with him and felt like we got the insiders guide to the city. I especially appreciated being able to ask him anything and he knew the answer to everything and even indulged my crazy questions about the pantheon since I had been reading a book about the building. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. What a great evening with Brandon!

This was a great tour for my first day in Rome. We had a nice small group and visited some of the main attractions in the city center. The tour guide, Brandon, was excellent! Very knowledgeable and friendly.

Our evening tour with Through Eternity Tours on April 22, 2024 for Rome at Twilight was recommended by friends. We scheduled and paid for the tour on March 25, 2024. Unfortunately, the tour was quite disappointing. The guide, Lorenzo, rushed us through many of the sites, especially the Trevi Fountain. We spend less than 5 minutes at the fountain, barely enough time to take photos. We saw the Spanish Steps from a distance, not even close. There was no discussion on the history of the steps. He gave a decent description inside the Pantheon, but did not even mention the Egyptian Obelisk outside. He walked so fast and most of our group was in their 70's and he took no time to adjust for us. He did not stop for a bathroom break anywhere and when we were done, had no connections for us to find a bathroom. I would have given it a rating of 1, except we did see some interesting sights, abiet too quickly.

Tatiana was our wonderful tour guide for this lovely walking tour. We learned more about Rome in two hours than we did a whole day trip! Seeing the marked sites we were supposed to see and educating us on even more! She was a delightful tour guide and I would 100% come back to Rome and do a tour with her again
