In-depth Guided Tour Of St. Peter's Basilica & Square

Silvia (with an I) was an amazing tour guide. She was very passionate about the history that she was explaining to us, and had a very in-depth knowledge of St Peter's Square, Basilica - and history in general. She utilized the long wait times by providing us with detailed explanations of everything she could, with patience and a smile. She welcomed questions and answer them very effectively. She truly made our tour a wonderful experience and we would happily spend time with her again to understand more of her historical knowledge. The tour meeting point was obvious, they communicated well, and we started the tour on time. It was more than worth the price! Highly recommend

Our guide was very knowledgeable. She smoothly traversed the crowds throughout the Square and the Basilica. She helped navigate our exits to take full advantage the sights in the Basilica. Fast Track is a great way to go.

St. Peter’s is stunning!!! Well worth the tour. Morning was a great time to visit, as the lines were not long at all and the city is beautiful. Great overview from Sylvia before entering the Church. Her English was great, and she was full of interesting information that made us marvel at the details and history even more.

I personally have ZERO interest in anything religious but our Guide, Francesca's passion and historical knowledge made it interesting and dare I say "fun". The Basilica is impressive outside but inside is something special. The tour was well run from booking through to conclusion. I recommend this tour (including the climb to the topof the dome) and consider yourself lucky if you get Francesca as the guide.

We booked the in depth guided tour of St Peter's Basilica and square (excl. The dome climb) Valentine was assigned to our group, he was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, patient and entertaining. Valentine navigated us through the crowds and queues, entertaining us along the way with games, quizzes and insights about the Vatican and St Peters. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to take a tour of the Vatican and St Peters. He was a really fun and nice guy!

Terrible experience. The meeting point instructions are very confusing. It took us 30 minutes to find it, and missed the tour. No one contacted us. Call customer service, but didn’t help

It’s worth booking with a guide because in my opinion if you’re left to your own devices you won’t get the most out of the visit. My only moan was I inadvertently had not booked to climb the dome & thought I had so it would have nice to have had that communicated with me earlier or even clarified upon booking.

Don't book with them. They changed the place to meet 2 times and they moved up the time of our tour by 1/2 an hour. We couldn't find them and I couldn't get any type of service on my phone, so we missed the tour. Since they have a no refund policy we're out $55.00. We were booked to see St. Peter's square and Basilica.

The history about the Dome with the San Pietro Square was very interesting. She know everything. She was very wonderful to the kids of the others.

Our guide did a great job of making sure everyone was with her, and she gave us so very much information about the Basilica and the Vatican while we waited in line for entry. By the time we reached the security check, I felt like we had received a valuable, interesting lesson in the history of the vatican and the basilica. Well done!

It was not very good. You have to do a huge line to enter the basilica. You loose lot of time organizing the group that could be use to reduce line time.We thought we didint have tondo lune and we left

I made an error on my reservation and it was for yesterday. So we didn’t get to go on the tour. I asked if we could’ve been added for today and I as told no. Since I am a good repeat customer, I am hoping for a refund.

Very interesting tour a lot of information an very nice recommendations as well as a great overview of the Roman history was given. I also really appreciated the comprehensive knowledge of the tourguide also on Rome ingeneral and not only the Basilica itself. Further really liekable was the style of presenting the information in a summarized and well understandable way.

This tour was the highlight of our visit to Rome. Daniele V. was a fantastic guide - knowledgeable, entertaining, and very accommodating. The tour lasted about two hours and we were engaged the whole way. I highly recommend this.

Bravissima guida, Valeria, che ha spiegato il progetto della piazza, la genesi della chiesa e le opere esposte in modo chiaro. Bene le indicazioni per trovare il punto di ritrovo. Attenzione: il tour non è un salta fila per accedere alla basilica di San Pietro e saltare la coda per la Porta Santa

La guida (Sabrina) ci ha intrattenuto in modo così piacevole con la storia della piazza e dell'edificazione della Chiesa che non ci siamo quasi accorti della coda sotto il sole fatta per entrare in Basilica. In S.Pietro poi ci ha illustrato un mucchio di dettagli in modo coinvolgente ed i miei figli ( 8 e 13 anni) l'hanno ascoltata con attenzione per tutto il tempo ( cosa non scontata a queste età). Io ho visitato San Pietro molto volte ma obiettivamente con una guida così capace ti rendi conto dei mille dettagli persi nelle visite precedenti.

God valuta for pengene. Guiden tog sig god tid til at fortælle og havde mange gode historier og fakta. Man kunne mærke at han brændte for historien og det gør kun turen endnu bedre. Der stod varighed 1 time men fordi guiden var så god og dygtig brugte han mellem 2-3 timer. Kan klart anbefale turen.
