Historical Walking Tour In Rome City Center With Hidden Gems

Worth every penny! I left a tip and felt good knowing the money was going to the guide. She was worth it. I like how the tour was lower price and you could tip what you felt was right.

We had an outstanding tour with the City Tour. Iris was fantastic. Lots of terrific information about areas of Rome that were not obvious. Despite this being my third time in Rome, I learned lots of new information about the city.

Great tour we learned a lot about the hidden history of Rome. Great knowledgable guide and well explained. I would recommend they use the whisper ear phones that I’ve seen on other tours though. A lot of the spots were busy and loud and that would have helped

Our guide Paulo was excellent!! We learned a lot about Rome, but it was not the watered down version. He was very knowledgeable and took his time making sure we understood what he was talking about. I would definitely recommend him to someone.

Iris was friendly and kept everyone engaged. She is knowledgeable and has a lovely personality. The tour itself was good. Recommendations at the end of the trip were helpful. I tried a few of them and I wasn’t disappointed. Heads up that this tour is on a tip basis. The price at Viator is just to book a slot and the money doesn’t go to the people.

We saw a combination of interesting places (some busy and most weren't crowded with people), learned a lot about the culture of Rome, and had a nice walk. Would recommend.

Very interesting tour, our guide took us through some of the main attractions of rome but also made us discover some hidden gems of the city, his stories where fantastic and i discovered a lot of things that i would have missed if i didn’t do this tour, thank you to the guide for the wonderful experience!

We have been to Rome a few times before and did the “usual” tourist attractions. We wanted to see the city from a different perspective. This tour provided that for us. Jacoba was very knowledgeable and gave details and insight to many of the locations that we would otherwise not have known. Our tour guide Jacopo made this a fantastic tour! He was very knowledgeable and funny, you could tell he was passionate about Romes history. We only had 2 days in Rome so this tour was great as it allowed us to see many of the cool tourist spots. Overall it was a great and informative tour!

Our tour guide was Iris and she was INCREDIBLE! She took us through the beautiful Jewish Ghetto and told us the history. Then she took us to Trestevare and showed us around. It was such a great tour and she is full of history!

This was the best tour we have done in the 3 days of being in Rome. We learned about the colourful families of Rome and their influence. Jacopo was very knowledgeable and funny and he gave us time to explore and take in the hidden gems he shared. Even though as Australians it is not part of our culture yo tip, we chose to tip well as it exceeded our expectations and we understand that we are paying for his knowledge and time.
