Best bike tour for adult bikers of all ages. Elias was terrific. Never a dull moment. Loved traveling the city by E-bike. Exciting travel for bikers with basic to superior biking skills.

One of our favorite experiences in Rome!! We got to tour all over Rome and see the hidden gems of the city without the effort of walking. The bikes were just right for the job and made the hills effortless. The food stop was a great break and the gelato was “bus”, according to our teenagers. All in all, we loved the experience. Would highly recommend!

Our tour guide Elias gave us such a wonderful experience through Rome. We made stops along the way as he explained relevant history and stories behind the monuments we visited. We stopped for lunch and gelato (the best i’ve ever had) and got to see Rome through the eyes of a local and true professional. Thank you Elias for being so energetic, fun, and patient!

This e-bike tour was the perfect way to discover parts of the city we never would’ve stumbled upon on our own. With Elias as our guide, the experience was both fun and insightful, and his attention to safety made the whole ride smooth and enjoyable, even when navigating a bit of traffic. The electric bikes made it easy to cover a lot of ground without feeling worn out. And the street food and gelato stops were tasty, and gave nice breaks. Elias was excellent! Very knowledgeable about Roman history and made the tour engaging, he even put music along the ride… Our personal GO! You need to be able to ride an E bike. If you can it’s a wonderful way to see parts of Roma you might otherwise miss. Elias was informative and very entertaining. This was our favorite tour during our time in Roma. Sampling local food was a fantastic addition. It was a great way to see a large portion of the city in a short time. We would highly recommend this experience.

Our e-bike tour was absolutely incredible! Elias was a fantastic guide, ensuring our safety and showing us a perfect mix of Rome's famous spots like the Colosseum, Baths of Caracalla, and St. Peter's Basilica, plus amazing hidden gems and panoramic views from Fontana dell'Acqua Paola. With my 13 and 14-year-olds, we felt completely safe and had a blast. The food stops at Testaccio Market, Neve di Latte gelato, and Sant’Eustachio il Caffè were all phenomenal. History, sights, and tastes: a truly unforgettable Roman experience!

Excellent tour of Rome, taking in many of the lesser visited attractions around this historic city. The e-bikes are the perfect mode of transport for this tour, ambling down side streets, giving a taste of the more authentic real Rome, away from the hustle and bustle. And then there was Duarte, our tour guide, he was so knowledgeable, friendly and fun, an all round good guy who really makes the tour extra special. Five stars!!

Fantastic E-bike tour of Rome!! Elis was an incredible tour guide. We avoided a lot of the busy areas but when we did mix in with traffic, Elis was there to maneuver us through. Visited many off-the -beaten-path locations and ate a variety of delicious local foods...and had the best espresso in town. Thanks for sharing your Rome with us.

A fantastic way to see this beautiful city. Elias and Gail were super guides. A fun and informative tour. The 4 hours went so fast, we didn’t want it to end. If coming to Rome you have to do this tour, it’s a must.

The idea of this tour was great but the reality was a little scary...biking through the city streets especially as it was getting dark was dangerous. On a positive note, we did see some sights that you don't see on your average walking tour and the one stop we made for food was delicious.

This e-bike tour was a great experience! A wonderful way to see Rome and venture through neighborhoods and see some hidden gems along the way. Many breathtaking stops. Dealing with riding through traffic itself is an experience but our guide made it seamless. We are 2 - 60 something and one 14 year old. Bravo!

Our guide, Duarte, was excellent. He tied ancient history to our modern times through humour and his extensive knowledge. The bikes were great and made getting around the city a breeze.

Hands down the best tour we’ve had in all our Europe trip. You learn a ton of history, seen a significant amount of Rome and to mention the phenomenal food. Duarte is awesome and makes the experience unbelievable. Would absolutely recommend you do this tour with Duarte. Wish we knew about this tour earlier would’ve love to experience the other tours they have.

This was our second bike tour of the trip, and we love combining a little exercise with sightseeing. Our guide, Elias, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of energy. Even though we've been to Rome before, he showed us hidden gems we hadn’t seen. It was a long tour, but with plenty of stops for food, gelato, and even a cozy café break during the rain. The weather didn’t slow us down one bit! We booked with another couple, and they couldn’t stop raving about the experience. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who can ride a bike! All four of us are over 65, and we had no trouble keeping up. Thanks for showing us a fresh side of Rome!

My husband and I had a great experience on this tour. We ended up having a private tour with Mattia, who was very patient and careful with us through the busy and crowded streets of Rome. We are in our 60's and not very experienced on e-bikes, but Mattia carefully navigated us through many interesting lesser known sights in Rome, and stopped for water breaks, street food, gelato and coffee. We highly recommend this tour with Mattia!

Elis took us on an amazing tour of Rome with the e-bikes. He’s a really funny, laid back person with lots of knowledge and a great spirit. He mixed up funny stories and facts about Rome. He knows his history and, amazingly, he knows lots of things about other cultures as well. Some of the stops were really memorable, and we were able to take plenty of pictures. There were 3 stops for food/drinks and dessert towards the end of the ride, and they were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this tour, especially with Elis who went above and beyond

My husband and I completed this tour on the last week of Aug 2024. We had the luxury of having Duarte as our tour. My husband and I have been to Rome twice before and were here on a stop-over. We didn’t want to see the same monuments we’ve done in the past and were looking for something else off the beaten path to do. We stumbled upon this tour. It would cover more area than we could do on foot and take us to places we’d likely not see. First thing to comment was the bikes. They were great!! It was my first time using a e-bike but my husband has one he uses daily. Him being an experienced e-biker, really liked the bike- more than his own. Me as a first-timer I became a huge fan. It was easy to use and if I chose to exert myself I could take it easy and let the bike take me. More impressive was Duarte’s knowledge of the places we visited and his responses to our questions. We got a great history lesson in those 4 hours. He was also funny and that added to the charm of the tour. He was very personable. Overall I enjoyed this tour quite a bit. I’d recommend it for anyone or any age who can ride a bike and whose interested in doing something a little different.

Elias was alot of fun and the food was great. Went with my daughter and her bf, the next day my son took the bus to the market where we ate because we said it was so good. Only 5 of us on the tour, none of us were way better than the others so it worked out. Pace tailored to us. Highly recommend, had a blast.

This was our favorite tour we did while we were in Rome. The ebike gets you around town quickly and keeps the air moving over you. We saw many details of Rome that we wouldn't have otherwise discovered without the Hidden Rome tour, and the food was great! We really enjoyed getting to know our guide, Duarte, who happens to know a lot about a lot of things!

This is our second trip with E-bike tours, enjoyed so much that booked with our boys who are in their 20's and hard to impress. Elias and his tour did just that! We all had such a great time, food and learned something along the way. We were on a cruise so limited on when we could book. If we could I would do the early morning tour in summer, cooler weather and no crowds!

Our guide was wonderful, very knowledgeable and attentive. The food was good but I was hoping for a surprise, maybe something we haven’t seen?! The ice cream was good, and it was nice to get out of the really touristy areas!!

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! I cannot recommend this e-bike tour highly enough -- my daughter and I had an absolute blast biking around the city, with stops for lunch at a delicious sandwich shop at a local market we never would have found otherwise, gelato at a fabulous hole-in-the-wall gelateria, not to mention learning about tons of history and sights around the city. The tour guide was extremely friendly and informative, and we got some great exercise in to boot!

I keep coming back for more! Every time I’m in Rome I take a tour with EsBike tours! This time, I went on the Hidden Gems tour and what a blast I had! The e-bikes are so fun and easy to ride. As long as you are comfortable riding a bicycle, the e-bike makes moving through the city a breeze. We hit spots you’d never expect to see like, the oldest rose garden in the world, Rome’s very own pyramid and incomparable views of the city! We stopped at a market for some yummy food and also sampled the best gelato in the city. My guide, Elias, was the best! He is funny, charming, full of historical insights and also acts as the tour DJ, blasting musical hits from the speaker on his bike all while making sure everyone on the tour is safe and comfortable. I can’t speak highly enough of ESBike Tours and encourage everyone to take a tour! It was the highlight of my trip…AGAIN!!! See you guys next time!
