Very informative tour, really enjoyed everything and all the explanations on the paintings and statues. I would recommend this tour.

Itinerary
The genius of Michelangelo and so many painters of the Italian Renaissance amaze us with the history of mankind from creation to universal judgment. We immerse ourselves in the art that adorns and speaks in the heart of the Vatican.
The tour inside the Vatican Museums is a journey through wonderland. We will begin the visit contemplating its gardens, the patio of the Pineapple and the immense collection of masterpieces of the ancient sculpture such as the Laocoon. Then we will pass through the Candelabra Gallery, the Maps, Tapestries and - when the flow of visitors allows it - the Raffaello Stays.

This was my third visit to the museum and chapel. I’m really happy I went because there were many changes from 20 years ago. We saw a lot of interesting and historical artwork. The guide left a little to be desired. She rushed us from the meeting spot to a location to print our tickets. Why she didn’t have them beforehand is beyond me. She was late to the meeting point, so we got a later start. Her headset was very “crackly”, so at times we missed information she was giving. Spanish is not her first language, so there were mistaken words at times. It didn’t really deflect from the tour though. I would do the tour again, but would hope for a different guide.
The best part of the tour, as you can actually spend time admiring the frescoes is the chapel per se. The rest of the museum experience is not great as people are herded along without time to stop and admire the various areas, the guide points the most important ones with enough detail and great knowledge, it for the tea, you basically walk by with the crowd. The Sistine Chapel explanations are done outside as you are to remain silent inside, rightfully so, and our guide did a great job giving details, etc.
I would highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide was Juan and he was very knowledgeable and personable. He gave us so much history and backstories of various art pieces to have a foundation which I appreciated. It made looking at the art pieces much more memorable. The Sistine chapel is stunning and a must see!! Just being able to skip the huge line was worth it! I would definitely take this tour again!
Extraordinary! Juan-Miguel’s knowledge of the histories of the Vatican and its art were absolutely remarkable. He also expertly managed the enormous crowds in the museums. We are so grateful. Thank you.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and the personal history of the painters and the characters that participated in the construction of the Vatican best tour ever
The sites are obviously spectacular..Our guide did her best, but even she got impatient with the excess of tourists. Off the bucket list, but no more.
It was organized and descriptive. Natalia was very good and super nice. She is very knowledgeable and made it a great tour. There's a lot of people visiting but we were able to stay with the group. You get a ear piece so you can here the guide better. At the end, you can explore the st. Peter's basilica on your own time. It was beautiful. Loved that this was in spanish so my relatives could understand. Definitely recommend!
We took the tour with the guide Juan Miguel Ortiz, excellent in every way, punctuality, willingness, clarity in concepts, great volume of information and tips.
A very pleasant visit; as soon as they opened the doors we went in, and since there were only two of us, the guide helped us a lot and told us the whole history of the museums and the Sistine Chapel. Keep in mind that the ticket does not include a direct pass to St. Peter's Basilica, something we thought it did, but that was our mistake. A good and recommended experience.
It is very good and you learn a lot from people with experience; we liked the whole tour, best regards,
We did the classic route of the Vatican Museums, that is immense, and we also went to the Sistine Chapel. The guide, Carmelo, was excellent, the whole visit was very enjoyable. We did the Basilica on our own... you have to arm yourself with patience and some good shoes to walk around Rome!!!
It was a nice experience, if you like Roman history is highly recommended. The museum is immense and has very varied rooms.
Everything was beautiful. However, a lot of walking through a lot of people. To arrive at the Sistine Chapel it is at least 2 hours visit to the museum for 15 to 20 minutes in the Chapel.
The museum and the chapel are worth a visit, but not with any guide, in our case we went with Roberta and the truth that it was a terrible experience explained the works and paintings very quickly as if he was in a hurry to march in addition to repeating many sentences continuously. We wouldn’t repeat if we knew we had to go with this Guide.
Extraordinary the guide, super trained, carried with excellent pace the group, knew a lot. Despite having seen so much, it seemed little because it made him super enjoyable. It's one of the best tours I've ever had, he always explained everything perfectly, he knew all the topics very well and above all he noticed that he likes what he does.
We got tickets to the Sistine chapel and Vatican museums the previous day, the meeting point was met, Francesca was our very friendly and educated guide, she explained very well and in detail, she answered inquiries and you could see that she knew a lot and enjoyed the visit home once she does, fully recommended
Guide to 10. Excellent professional. I don't know her name, but I know she's Murcian. Tour very pleasant and pleasant despite the crowd of people that were in the visited sites
The tour guide and tour was 10/10. He touched me with a Colombian who knows and is passionate about the subject and giving details of everything you are seeing. Unfortunately on the tour there was a couple with cart and a child who obviously does not know how to behave so if your child does not know how to behave in places of silence and serious my recommendation is that you do not go to not ruin the experience of others.
Last Saturday we had a terrible experience with the agency on Rome.com for the visit of the Vatican museums and the Cena chapel. We had booked with them a month ago This visit charges us for the same 80 € per person. I have to say that from one day to the next they changed the price and justified saying that it varied according to the demand, since a day earlier it appeared 76 €. But not only that happened, we could not make the visit with them, after having paid 320 € because we were four adults. We had a problem and we were 10 minutes late, we weren't called when they had it. We proposed to join them in the Vatican museums. They told us it wasn't possible. Once inside the museums we called again to be told which room the guide was in and told that he had no phone. They don't even believe this. Therefore warning. Don't hire a tour with this agency. Awful experience. We have requested a refund of the money and propose through the consumer agency or a lawyer to take action
It is an excellent choice to know the Vatican, quick practical and without so much vibe I think I would take it again without any problem
We made this tour the day after we made another one to the Colosseum with the company In Rome and we happened to have the same guide of the previous day, Valentina. It was a spectacular tour thanks to it, explained a multitude of stories and anecdotes along the way, making the 3.5 hours long, short. Just by visiting the Sistine Chapel, with the explanations of Valentina, it is worth paying the price of the tour and if we add to that the detailed visit to the Vatican Museums, and the explanations before the visit to the Basilica of St. Peter, the tour becomes a luxury. Thank you very much Valentina for letting us enjoy this tour so much
Excellent Guide Juan Miguel Ortiz awesome what he knew The organization all according to schedule Important to wear appropriate clothing carefully read the observations
From the beginning it was punctual , and the explanation was concise and adequate regarding the different points of the tour, although being Italian the Guide understandably spoke Spanish . It lasted approximately three hours
Very enjoyable experience and very warm guide. Upon entering, he gave us context about the history and asked us if we wanted to see something specific since the time on the tour is not enough to see everything in detail. I used headphones a lot to be able to hear what he was telling us about what we were seeing. From my experience I totally recommend. Thank you so much.
It was a great visit. Juan Miguel explained the entire museum to us and many curiosities about Rome and Italy. Everything was super good. Juan Miguel super friendly and attentive. I would repeat without hesitation
Super recommended tour. We had Natalie as a guide and were very happy. Professional, pleasant and friendly. He told us many anecdotes, which makes everything more enjoyable and fun. Always looking out for the group.
Disastrous tour with guide Simona. Disorganized, chaotic and unprofessional. He wastes a lot of time on banal things and then passes by many galleries and when asked for explanations he responds that "we are not missing anything." Words are unnecessary. Very disappointing experience and not recommended. He could well learn from his partner Juan Migue Ortiz, with whom we did another tour the day before and it was excellent.
Punctual appointment time, quick access, guided tour in Spanish with Miss Cristina excellent, extensive knowledge on the subject and attentive and organized with the group.
I was afraid that since it was a tour booked online it would not have official and professional guides, but the guides were great on the 2 tours we did. Juan Miguel Ortiz showed us the Vatican museums with incredible passion. It got us excited. Very knowledgeable, good communicator and interpreter of heritage. Even though we spent an hour in line to enter, for reasons beyond the control of the company, the visit did not shorten a minute, nor did it take us running.
The excursion is worth it because it is absolutely stunning. The best thing was our guide Roberta, who, in addition to being very friendly, explained everything to us in great detail. The only thing would be to warn that it is not an excursion for people with reduced mobility, nor canes, nor baby carriages. There is a lot of walking, stairs, and quite narrow passages. And a great shame, not being able to photograph the Sistine Chapel, without a flash. For everything else, great!!!
Great decision to choose this tour company. Thanks to her guide, Nataly was spectacular. Very nice and we learned a lot.
It has been a great experience. Our guide Nataly has been great and has made the tour very enjoyable and enjoyable. I recommend it 100%. We have not waited in any queue.
Great tour guided by Fabio. An exceptional guide. Pleasant and very interesting explanations. Super friendly. I would repeat without a doubt.
The best thing is not to wait in lines and the visit with Roberta is magnificent. He made us spend a super pleasant morning
The guide arrived late. We started the tour late. His speech was vague, I asked him several things and he couldn't answer. The our was supposed to last two and a half or three hours and in two hours it left us at the entrance to San Pedro. A total waste of money. I hope the coliseum tour is better. I'll post a review.
Natalia explained everything to us very well, in a friendly and entertaining way. My bad opinion is because, due to a failure on the website when making the reservation, they have charged me twice, 110 Euros charged twice as you can see in the photo I attached, and for now my complaints to the email from ENROMA.COM are falling on deaf ears. Several emails waiting for them to answer me, I hope they do because I am not going to stop just sending emails to complain, I will take the appropriate measures and edit this opinion to change it if I get a correct response. Natalia was a good guide, no problem with the tour, but because a fail in the website when I was buying the tour, I have been charged twice by ENROMA.COM and they are not attending to my claim. Bad experience so far with ENROMA.COM customer service.
Everything was perfect, we had a great time seeing each of the works of art there, and with the company where we bought the tickets everything was perfect Thank you very much
Monica - wow!
Tour booked with Enroma and we were delighted with Natalia, our magnificent guide. It was very enjoyable and interesting for us. I recommend it without a doubt.
Excelente visita!
We arrived late due to force majeure. Breakdown in the subway. TripAdvisor does not allow me to paste the link to the newspaper clipping, but you will find it as the closure of line A between Termini and Arco Travertino 07/31/2023. With the buses that the Rome transportation company put in place to supply the service and the circulatory collapse, there was no way. An hour and a half of anguish in a mega traffic jam on the bus, crowded with two little girls. Force majeure is force majeure, it is not a miscalculation or falling asleep. EnRoma told me that they didn't have tickets until September, I went to their website and checked that they had tickets for the next day. I called again and they told me "then buy", how cynical! Of course, I didn't. Bad time and many tears of helplessness due to the accumulated tension. When you pay 170 euros putting yourself in the hands of a guided tour company instead of paying 50 at the box office, you expect something more. What a mistake to trust this company! What a mistake to trust websites that recommend guided tours instead of going to the official pages, it's too late for me to see their problem! They put fear into your body with the lines and the risk of missing an important visit and the only thing they guarantee is that they will make your trip more expensive. We decided to go to the ticket office and after a 50-minute wait that flew by, we were inside the Vatican Museum and we became guides ourselves with the help of the internet. The story had a happy ending without the help of this unprofessional company. Florence a success with the Firenze card, at our own pace, without paying a fortune.
It was quite a success to hire this tour. Our guide, Valentina, is a great professional, and made a visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel very enjoyable and interesting.
Entertaining, the visit included the upper galleries, the Etruscan museum, the tapestry rooms, the map rooms, pope’s quarters (including those painted by Raphael) and the Sistine Chapel (something can escape me). Valentina was entertained, handled the group well and problems with crowded rooms, rushed or delayed the passage as necessary. He dwelt on the main points, with precise explanations and open to consultation. After the rooms, we went to the Sistine Chapel, which was explained before entering. On the way out he gave us the explanations and recommendations about St. Peter’s Basilica, and he already liberated us.
We loved the tour, we did it with a woman who understood a lot of history, I explain everything perfectly and in detail, we were delighted with the excursion and we regretted not taking the Colosseum with this same person because the experience would have been much more complete by his way of explaining the stories, made you transport yourself in time. It was a pleasure, thank you very much
The logistics of this tour are very bad, and our guide (Daysi) has very poor group management. The tour started approximately 45 minutes late, the guide took us quickly through the museums explaining the minimum, made ill-advised comments about elderly people who could not keep up. I recommend looking for another tour alternative with better trained guides.
