Guided Papal Audience With Pope Leo Xiv

Fantastic experience guided by the wonderful Julia who was my guide on the same tour same week last year. She guided us to great seats via a restroom and gift shop stop, witty, warm and informative. L’anno prossimo forse Julia! 😍🙏 the first pic is this year the second l’anno scorso 👊

This was the best way to get into the Papal Audience in St Peter’s Square. Our tour guide, Julia, knew the exact best way to get in and she gave us a lot of history and current information on the Vatican and the Papacy. We highly recommend this tour!

Using a guide means you don’t have to queue for hours the previous day to pick up your ticket from the Vatican. Convenient meeting point (with kiosk right beside for early morning coffee & breakfast as it’s a 7am start). Excellent guide Sabrina who steered us through the crowds, advised where is safe to buy souvenirs/water etc (avoid street vendors). She got us access to toilets the public can’t access and gave great info and context for our visit. Without a guise it would’ve been very confusing where to go, much quicker access with a guide.

Mama Sabrina was perfect tour guide. Spoke clear English and had many words of wisdom, advice, and information on what to expect for Pope Leo’s general audience. She easily guided a large group through crowded streets and security checks to wonderful seats for viewing the blessing.

Our guide Sabrina was amazing! We got up super early, meeting was at 7am. It was very organised, meeting point had a checkin and was able to get a coffee and breaky while waiting. Sabrina is very informative and got us through the first and second round of security and metal detector checks seamlessly. Sabrina was also able to get us close to the front of the public seating. It was truly an amazing experience and recommend anyone interested in experiencing the Papal audience is a definite must!

Our guide created one of the most memorable moments of our lives. She arranged everything so beautifully and seamlessly, allowing our little one to receive the blessings of the Holy Father. Getting a nice seat was good - just realize that there are still lines and the seat location is not pre-determined. Guide was friendly, informative, organized, and helpful!

Get to check in early- linesman be long. Overall, it was a great experience. Having a guide is definitely worth the cost- you learn so much and they get you to great seats.

Luciana was amazing she saved the day! I received a message to meet at 6.30am which I did, in fact even earlier. I received my sticker and radio set. From that point no one told me where to wait and no guide was pointed out. I eventually started seeing groups leave and colours being called. I noticed there were no light blue remaining (Max's group, which I learned later) I approach Luciana who had told me his group had left. From that point Luciana took care of me and the situation. It was very frustrating to have made the effort to get there early and then to be left behind. What was the point! Next time I would do it on my own. Advice to those meeting, make sure you have your guide pointed out to you.

Ótimo conteúdo histórico, mas não espere prioridade na fila Contratamos um tour guiado esperando conseguir um lugar melhor para acompanhar a Audiência Papal, mas isso não aconteceu — entramos na mesma fila que quem vai sem guia, sem nenhuma vantagem de acesso ou posicionamento. Por outro lado, o conteúdo foi excelente: nossa guia, Andrea, trouxe muita informação interessante sobre a história do Vaticano e dos papas, o que enriqueceu bastante a visita. Minha dica para quem for com guia e realmente quiser um bom lugar: vá direto para a fila e siga em direção à basílica assim que possível, sem esperar orientação do guia para isso — o benefício dele está no conteúdo, não no acesso físico ao evento. Great historical insight, but don’t expect priority access to the line We booked a guided tour expecting it would help us get a better spot for the Papal Audience, but that wasn’t the case — we ended up in the same line as visitors without a guide, with no advantage in access or positioning. That said, the content itself was excellent: our guide, Andrea, shared a lot of interesting historical background on the Vatican and the popes, which added real value to the visit. My tip for anyone booking a guided tour and hoping for a good spot: head straight to the line and make your way toward the basilica as soon as possible, without waiting on guidance from the tour for that part — the real benefit of the guide is the historical context, not physical access to the event.

Luciana was great. I’m an English speaker and her English was fluent. She was super engaging and did an amazing job trying to keep the group engaged while waiting in line for the papal audience experience.

This tour says "Privileged Access" in the title which was very misleading. Our tour guide walked us from the meeting point to one of the entrances. We got in the line and then went through the regular security lines. Once into St Peter's Square our tour guide took us to the general seating area where all the other people were sitting. The seats available were more in the middle so it was difficult to see the Pope when he drove by. The guide did provide interesting information about the Vatican. We feel that there was nothing "Privileged " about this tour. We went through the same line up for security as other people and sat in the same area as other people. If I ever go to another audience, I will get in the line up long before 7:15 and get a seat on the perimeter of one of the sections. I won't need to pay for a tour.

Having attended the Papal Audience without skip the line and unescorted, this is definitely easier! Our guide directed us to bathrooms and nice shops. I won’t do the Papal Audience unescorted again!

Lucy was amazing. She was very knowledgeable. She was interesting to listen to. We obtained 2nd row seats, which we would not have picked without her directing us to the right entrance. It’s totally worth the small price and do this right - we would have a fraction of the experience that she facilitated for us had we done this on our own. My husband asked way too many questions, she answered them all graciously. 5 Stars for Lucy, Bravo!
