Golf Cart Driving Tour In Rome: 2.5 Hrs Catacombs & Appian Way

What a great way of going about the city. Wonderful tour and was fun, interactive, and super interesting.

It was a nice tour but did not include what was in the description. While it was a fun tour, it would have been nice to see and do all what was expected.

This is an amazing tour where you get too see the biggest sights. You get to ride comfortably in a golfcart which is a fun experience. The guide Nina is amazing and she shares so much knowledge of the sights.

Great way to see the city without walking everywhere! Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The catacombs are a must see! The Appian Way was incredible to see and walk on as well as all the other sites! Highly recommend this fun and relaxing way to see the sites of Rome!

We visited the Basilica of San Sebastiano fuori le mura on July 7th, and it was an absolute highlight of gulf-cart-our time in Rome. The most incredible part of the tour was the underground tour of the Catacombs that literally emerging right from the ancient tunnels up into the breathtaking, light-filled San Sebastiano church interior. Transitioning from the sacred quiet, historic depths straight into the basilica floor will be your most unforgettable moment. Because just beyond the main altar, the church holds stunning artistic treasures, which including a powerful 15th-century polychrome wooden crucifix, is an area where the tomb of Saint Sebastian “San Sebastiano”! What made this visit truly special, though, was exploring the quieter corners to find things that many casual visitors might completely overlook. Tucked away in the side chapels, we found the incredible marble slab holding the historic "Quo Vadis" footprints attributed to Jesus, as well as the magnificent Salvator Mundi bust—the final masterpiece sculpted by Gian Lorenzo Bernini when he was 82 years old.This basilica is a peaceful, fascinating gem away from Rome's usual crowds. And look underneath the big paintings of marble carved important images with hidden messages from ancient times when Christians had to be discreet about who they were choosing to share their faith in Christ Jesus with. Images will be shared! Do not skip the subterranean tour, and make sure you take your time exploring the side chapels afterward!

We had an amazing 2.5-hour tour of the Appian Way and the Catacombs with Daniela. She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating history in a way that was engaging and fun. Her upbeat personality and enthusiasm made the entire experience so much fun, and we also appreciated her excellent restaurant recommendations. Perfect! Great way to see some of the main points with a guide that really knows about history. We did the tour today and Daniela was the guide. I’ve learned so much and in a very smooth and simpathic way. It was really really nice. My kids also enjoyed it. And as a bonus she told us about some restaurants in the area. This afternoon we did the catacombs tour with Leo and we were really impressed by his knowledge of Rome , was a a fun and enjoyable way to see the city sights especially in the 30 degree heat ! Highly recommend to anyone coming to Rome !!!!

I can't say enough about how great this tour was. The fact that we took three of BIGA Tours offerings in a single day and enjoyed them all says a lot. Filippo was an excellent tour guide. We really enjoyed his tour of the Via Appia Antica, the tombs of St. Sebastian, and the Church of Domine Quo Vadis. Filippo was a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide and we greatly appreciated the time that he showed us. He answered all of our questions, he provided us with alot of interesting information, and he even bought us a coffee, which was a really nice touch-especially after a very cold early morning golf cart ride to the Catacombs. This tour was truly amazing and in my opinion after multiple visits to Rome is a must. Amber was truly passionate, knowledgeable, funny and found was to make our experience enjoyable and work with our ADD 😂. We believe it was the best tour we have had. Rome was so busy and we didn't want to wait in lines to see the major sites. We were lucky and were the only 2 people on the tour. Gaia, our guide was remarkable. She spent a number of years living in NYC and studied history. We could not have had a better guide and a better tour.

We had an amazing tour just outside the city center. The Appian Way and Catacombs plus a great tour guide was a great start of our visit.

We wanted to get out of the busy city and see some places that are not as crowded. The golf carts are a great travel option. You can see everything really well. Amber was a fantastic guide and shared many stories with us. There is so much history here it can be overwhelming to take it all in. We learned a lot and had an enjoyable morning. The Appian way is beautiful. The catacombs were a place I have always wanted to experience. Our guide was very well informed and it was quite a large group ( several smaller groups like ours and families combined.) she explained and interacted with us and the kids were engaged as well. We experienced the city in a unique way and I’m really glad we chose to do this.
