Teresa and Fabio were right on time to pick us up in the morning. We had a comfortable ride with a quick stop for breakfast then on to Pisa, amazing area to see, great history, and time for the fun photos we all need. Lunch in Florence time to shop the markets and a full guided tour at the Galleria Academia to see “the David” and then on to catch some beautiful sights around the city. The final stop was a view of the city as the sun was setting in the distance. A nice peaceful ride back into Roma.

Itinerary
Enjoy the marvels inside the Piazza dei Miracoli, 4 monuments: The Baptistery (famous for its echo), the Cathedral, the Leaning Tower, the Cemetery. Take a souvenir photo with the background of the leaning Toore that you are holding.
The Pisa Baptistery of St. John (Italian: Battistero di San Giovanni) is a Roman Catholic ecclesiastical building in Pisa, Italy. Construction started in 1152 to replace an older baptistery, and when it was completed in 1363, it became the second building, in chronological order, in the Piazza dei Miracoli. The shape of the building, the material used, the distribution of the interior spaces given by the columns and the space between the two domes make the Baptistery create an incredible effect of acoustic resonance, better known as Echo. Enjoy the sound spreads throughout the space, like a continuous wave, rising in tonality to the point of suggesting the presence of an angelic choir. Every half hour the Baptistery staff performs a small demonstration for tourists: the effect is not to be missed.
Pisa Cathedral is a medieval Roman Catholic cathedral dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, in the Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa, Italy. It is a notable example of Romanesque architecture, in particular the style known as Pisan Romanesque
Admire the most famous bell tower in the world , the Leaning Tower of Pisa (visit outside), known worldwide for its nearly four-degree lean, the result of an unstable foundation. The tower is situated behind the Cathedral and is the third oldest structure in the "Piazza dei Miracoli" , after the cathedral and the Baptistry.
The visit includes the Accademy Gallery where inside is the David, Michelangelo's famous sculpture. Michelangelo’s David at the “Accademia in addition to the work of David, there are also other sculptures and a large collection of paintings by Florentine artists.
The cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (visit outside), with its beautiful dome projected by Brunelleschi, is the cathedral of Florence. Construction began in 1296, Gothic style to a design of Arnolfo di Cambio and was structurally completed by 1436, with the dome designed by Filippo Brunelleschi. The exterior of the basilica is faced with polychrome marble panels in various shades of green and pink, bordered by white, and has an elaborate 19th-century Gothic Revival façade by Emilio De Fabris.
Adjacent to the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore is the Bell Tower designed by Giotto (visit outside). Giotto's Bell Tower is the majestic bell tower of the Cathedral and one of the masterpieces of Italian Gothic. The Bell Tower has a square base of approximately 15 meters per side with corner reinforcements that rise up to the horizontal cantilevered crown located at a height of 84.7 metres.
The Baptistery of San Giovanni (visit outside) is located in Piazza Duomo, in front of the Cathedral of S. Maria del Fiore, it is one of the most important monuments in Florence. The origins of the monument are not certain. It is thought to have been built on the ruins of an ancient Roman temple dedicated to the God Mars around the 4th-5th century AD. The first mention dates back to 897 when it was referred to as a basilica. In 1128 it officially became the city's baptistery, where the baptism rite took place. The baptistery, named after the patron saint of the city, is characterized by an octagonal plan, covered by a dome with eight segments covered on the outside by a pyramid roof. The exterior of the building is decorated with white Carrara marble and green Prato marble, characteristic of Florentine Romanesque architecture.
Piazza della Signoria has been at the center of Florence's political life since the 14th century. The Square has seen important historical events and great triumphs take place, such as the return of the Medici in 1530. The famous sculptures located in Piazza della Signoria have references to the political events of Florence. The David (the original is located in the Accademia Gallery) was created by Michelangelo and positioned in front of Palazzo Vecchio to symbolize the power of the Florentine Republic in contrast with the tyranny of the Medici. Hercules and Cacus (1534) by Bandinelli instead symbolizes the physical power of the family.
Built near a Roman-era crossing, the Ponte Vecchio was until 1218 the only bridge that crossed the Arno in Florence. Above Ponte Vecchio you can see a part of the beautiful Vasari Corridor. This corridor, built in 1565 by Giorgio Vasari, passes just above the goldsmith shops that currently stand on either side of the bridge. Commissioned by the Medici, it allowed them to move from Palazzo Vecchio to Palazzo Pitti without having to cross the streets of Florence, in complete safety. At the time of the construction of the Corridor, the butchers' shops were gathered on the Ponte Vecchio, whose activity probably disturbed the passage of the Medici, who in 1593 had them moved, replacing them with the more "decorous" goldsmith shops.
Piazzale Michelangelo is the most evocative point of Florence. From here you can admire the whole city with its splendid monuments. This square was dedicated to the great Renaissance artist Michelangelo and the copy of David is located in the center of the square next to the four allegories of the Medici Chapels of San Lorenzo. Visit of the panorama and group photography

My friend and I travelled from Rome to Pisa then onto Florence and returned to Rome. We had a fabulous day with our driver Fabio and guide Mikos. True gentlemen. Very informative. We felt safe and made to feel special. Thanking them both and hope to return.
Antonietta is one of the most passionate and learned tour guide we had in a long while.
It’s a very long day. However. Our tour guide, Julianna, was fantastic. She went out of her way to accommodate us and even made us lunch reservations. The ride was long but the van was comfortable. Great way to hit the highlights of Florence in a day!
It’s a long drive tour but it’s totally worth it!!! The minivan are súper confortable and Manuel our guide it was very kind , funny and he was telling us about the cities around on our way , Carla in Florence our tour lady it was so friendly and she seems like she enjoys what she does , she is perfect doing her job . In my personal experience, it was a bucket list come true 👌🏼
Fun history tour. Catacombs were interesting, there are no bones FYI. If you've been in France this is underwhelming. Cat was a great guide and very upbeat and made the tour better.
Overall was good. Car could have been bigger or van as we couldn’t stretch legs in the back seats. Driver Paulo and Guide Iman were excellent and friendly. Guide Amelie at Florence was superb. Value for money not sure we thought overpriced. It would have been better to book direst thru TripAdvisor?
Ana and Arthur were fantastic...on time, very friendly, very knowledgeable and always making sure our experience was the best. The day was awesome...beautiful sites, learned a ton about Pisa and Florence and got to see some amazing sites! And Jovani in Florence was a wealth of knowledge and insight. I highly recommend this group and company!!! We would and will use them in the future and will recommend them to all our friends!!!
Our tour to Florence and Pisa was wonderful. Our tour guide Agnese was very knowledgeable and kind and as we felt very safe with Fabrizio our driver. I would recommend this tour to anyone of my friends or family it was fun and very informative.
We had a wonderful day trip from Rome to Florence and Pisa with Welcome Italy. Our driver Walter was professional, friendly, and made the entire journey comfortable. Our tour guide Nariman was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated their kindness and excellent service. Highly recommended!
Fabulous and our guide was the absolute best !
We had so much fun on this tour with our wonderful guide Ana and our driver Alessio. Ana was very friendly and knowledgeable. Ana knew the best places to take photos and suggested places to eat. We had quite a few laughs throughout the day. Alessio picked and dropped us right outside our B&B. We we had more time in Italy we would have booked another tour with them. They really made the tour so easy and enjoyable. Thanks
The pickup and drop off were at my hotel! Our Tour leader: Nariman, provided an informative and enjoyable day. I appreciate him going above and beyond to answer questions, make an enjoyable day, and take pictures for us! I appreciate he made reservations for our lunch! Our Driver: Artur, did an amazing job and continuously helped me out of the van when we stopped. Our Guide in Florence: Luis, provided a memorable and informative tour! It was amazing day!
Our full day private tour was exceptionally led by our Tour Leader, Nariman and conveniently provided by our driver Roberto. They were professional, thoughtful, and accommodating every step of the way. Nariman’s wealth of knowledge and recommendations made the experience personable. The minivan was clean and the AC was perfect. They cultivated a friendly ambiance for the entire family. We recommend the experience, A+!
Malak was very knowledgeable and looked after us like family. It was a very hot day and both Malak and Ronerto were very flexible so we could make the most while staying cool at the same time. Roberto was very professional and also managed to bypass a blocked motorway saving us hours. Great tour and we learnt a lot. Carla was there for us in Florence who provided great insights.
We had a fantastic tour with our guide Nariman and driver Roberto! The whole experience was top notch. Nariman was very friendly and knowledgeable and took time to answer all questions and shared his special insight on all of the places of interest. We really enjoyed how engaging he was as well as fun and funny he was. Roberto was a very safe driver and was very polite, careful, and helpful as well! The whole tour was amazing and when it was over we were very pleased. I would definitely recommend this tour with Nariman and Roberto!
Very accommodating driver (Adam) and guide (Jazzy). They were punctual, professional, personable, and polite. The vehicle was very comfortable.
After doing 2 large group tours, it was a real treat to do this small group one. There were only 4 of us, and that made a huge difference. JB and the driver picked us up from the hotel in a van. It was difficult to get in and out from the back seats and I think the van needed a better suspension as it was a really bumpy ride. We got dropped off at convenient locations and enjoyed everything.
Great tour of both Florence and Pisa. This tour gives you an overview of Florence (which you need 3 days for) and a visit to Pisa. Pisa was wonderful and our guide Agnes showed us the sites and explained everything. She also kept the vendors and others away. Lunch was great. Florence was beautiful. It is a long day but definitely worth it!
Tour was excellent. Agnese gave an excellent tour. She provided lots of information about Pisa and Florence. Also, she took great care of our family all day with our shopping choices and lunch.
This is a fun trip to Pisa and Florence. It is not a huge bus with tons of people. It is more of a small group. We had 6 people in our van which was a nice amount. Agnese and Pinot were great guides. They fit a lot of sightseeing in for one day. They are also very nice and accommodating. My only wish is that there was time to explore Florence a little on your own. Other than that we really enjoyed this trip. It is a long day but well worth it. You also get to see a bit of the Tuscany countryside during the drive. If you have not seen Pisa or Florence then you can't go wrong with this trip!
This is a walking tour through and through and travelers should be prepared to walk for 2 hours through the wonderful city of Florence. The positives: The Statue of David!, our knowledgeable guide, the beautiful sites and history of Venice. The negative: 102 degree weather (Fahrenheit) with what felt like 85% humidity was quite unbearable. Also, even though I know there is a lot to cover in little time (Pisa, Florence and all the driving in between) I felt extremely rushed by our guide (not the city tour guide mind you but the Viator experience tour guide) who walked extremely fast and didn't seem to wait for people who fell behind. Outside of that he was a wonderful person but he needed to be more aware of how fast (on a hot day) we had to walk to keep up with him. This is the reason I can only give the tour 4 stars and not 5
We booked a private tour for 6 family members, unfortunately we shared our guide with another group of 4. the guide would switch cars throughout the day. we paid for a private tour. We would like to be compensated for not receiving what we purchased. Our tour guide Rish and driver Artur were very good and the driver was very conscientious to stop for rest if needed. It was a nice ride beautiful scenery, the trip was good other than paying for private not receiving.
An amazing day trip to both Piza and Venice. Our guide was knowledgeable and delighted us with information throughout the drive and the sites. A new guide joined us in Florence who was an expert on art and Florence. A wonderful lunch in Florence (self pay). The tour felt rushed from the start. It wasn’t clear what time we had to be at certain locations and asking for a bathroom break seemed to cause timing issues. It’s a full day and I did need several bathroom breaks which I think caused more stress for the guide.
Great communication from the moment I booked the tour. Prompt on time pickup at a convenient location. Drive to Pisa and Florence from Rome was very comfortable in a spacious van with AC. Traveled with my senior parents, husband and two kids under 18. Stopped there and back at to use restrooms and get drinks and snacks. Once in Pisa guide walked us straight into Baptistry and Cathedral with tickets and we were able to see and explore as well as see the tower and take pictures. From there we went to Florence and we went to a leather store to see and purchase leather goods. So many beautiful colors and items to pick from. Guide recommended a place to eat, Trattoria Vecchio Mercato and reserved a table for us. Our meal was delicious and we had some time to walk the market afterwards before our walking tour started. Our guide was very informative and we were able to get in fairly quickly to the Galleria to see David. From there we went to see the Cathedral and Baptistry then to the Piazza della Signoria and walked to Ponte Vecchio. The Tour was easy to follow and definitely would recommend. Before we left our driver stopped at Vista Panoramica di Firenze Punto Panoramico and the views of the city are amazing. We all enjoyed our day trip and had a wonderful time. Thank you.
The headline said Private Tour. My fault for failing to read the fine print on the click but I didn’t realize it was a shared tour. Our new friends were fine. The van was a POS. The suspension was horrible and riding in the back seat while our driver drove like he was Mario Andreaddi was the worst experience I have ever had. 4 hours of pure hell felling every bump turn and hard stop. It’s was so bad we took a train back from Florence to Rome rather than ride in it any more. I would not recommend this tour period.
We booked through Viator to visit Pisa and Florence. Our driver Antonio and guide Agnese were so polite and friendly . They helped us with our plans and needs. They were taking care if we are comfortable and checking the whole day schedule of ours for what works and what doesn’t since I had a little kid. Agnese was very patient with explaining history of Tuscan and Florence. She also gave us more suggestions on Rome and other historical and beautiful places in Italy. She also helped us sneak in our leather shopping in Florence which we were much interested in. Thanks to her for getting us in the right stores. Overall we had wonderful experiences within this tour with good food, shopping and visiting to these cities.
Excellent tour of Florence and Pisa with Nariman and Emanuele. The team was very informative made sure to anticipate our every need. We got to skip the lines and go directly to the most high yield spots. Highly recommended!
Great option if you’re tight on time!
My family and I took the private tour to Pisa and Florence. We were met in the morning at our hotel by our Guide - Nariman “Nari” and Driver - Adam. The van was spotless and the drive to Pisa was beautiful as we travelled along the coast. Nari kept us engaged as he enlightened us to the rich history, geography, and cultural aspects of the regions we encountered. My teenagers listened intently as Nari was very informative and thoughtfully kept their attention. We arrived at the magnificent sights, and Nari’s energy and enthusiasm was infectious, making for a wonderfully memorable experience. Florence and Pisa are a must see. If you go, know that the Welcome to Italy tour is fantastic. The professionalism and attentiveness to our needs made the experience a wonderful memory which brings smiles to my family’s faces every time we talk about it.
This was our fist visit to Rome , and first day trip to Florence and Pisa. We were a family of 4 and had the car to ourselves. The team (guide and driver) arrived on time and they both were both great. The guide (Teresa) was very engaging, pointing out interesting facts along the way and in Pisa. We had a great tour of Pisa and Florence. The local guide in Florence was also great , with good knowledge of history of the place and very engaging. The team also helped us modify the trip slightly based on our needs. Overall all definitely recommend this tour and team.
Malak our tour guide in our private bus transportation was outstanding & she provided us with alot of information and history of Pisa and city of Florence. Because of her and Chofer Maximiliano our trip was the best tour yet we done in Rome so far. We also enjoyed the Driver Manuel & Ricky our guide in 2nd Tour. The excellent customer they provided, I recommend them all to my friends and family. Thank you for making trip memorable
This tour was awesome! Agnese was amazing. Pinot was a great driver. The car was very comfortable and we were able to view the countryside very easily! Agnese was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour in Pisa. She also pointed out several Etruscan towns on the drive thru Umbria and Tuscany. She anticipated our needs very well. She directed us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch in Florence that was more local than touristy. It was reasonably priced with great food and good service. Giovanni was excellent in Florence and added greatly to the experience. His anecdotes were entertaining and informative! He added areas that are not normally included in most tour in order to give us a true flavor for medieval Florence.
I’ve always wanted to get to Pisa and Florence and when I saw this private tour offered as well as previous great reviews, I booked a tour for myself. I had an amazing full and wonderful day with an excellent, friendly and knowledgeable guide, ‘Elizabeth’. She was very flexible with the schedule too and answered all my questions with patience! Drive was beautiful and the day and cost of the tour was highly worth it. Just book it!!
This was amazing Luigi and Elizabeth went above and beyond with us. She was very knowledgeable about each town we passed by on the road. He was extra helpful with our 90yo MIL and was simple terrific!
Malak and our driver were a great team. From the time they picked us up until the drop off 13 hours later, the focus was on creating a great experience. Malak was knowledgeable and extremely Helpful. With my husband being disabled I appreciate the little things in the services provided. She was very attentive and helpful. The tour itself was covert well planned. We ate at a nice restaurant, and our time in Florence was truly magical! This is a must do tour!
Jazzy was a fantastic guide- so fun and knowledgeable. He kept our group of 8 timely and had plenty of time to see all the sites. The drivers also did wonderful!
Loved our day trip to Florence and Pisa! Special thanks to Nariman, our guide, and Fabio, our driver, and also Franchesco, guide in Florence. Nariman and Franchesco were both knowledgeable and is very patient to us especially having a baby and a senior citizen passenger. Nariman went all above and beyond to our expectation, he is very kind and made sure our needs our well attended. It is one of our favorite trip while in Italy, and all are happy memories we will treasure. Thank you!
Worth the long drive from Rome. Pisa is lovely and baptistry, church and tower are all not just historical but beautiful! Florence is such an amazing city with such beautiful architecture, art and of course food. Michael Angelo’s David. Is a must see!
Worth the time and the walk. Our guide was well informed and very friendly. The overall tour was comfortable, Isabel was a wonderful host and Fabio was an excellent driver. Would recommend this tour to friends and family.
This trip was truly unforgettable, and we would especially like to thank our guide Juliana and our driver Luigi for their excellent service and thoughtful arrangements. After picking us up early in the morning, we headed straight to Pisa to visit the cathedral and the famous Leaning Tower, which was incredibly impressive. The itinerary was smooth and well-organized, making great use of our time. We then traveled to Florence for lunch, where we enjoyed a wonderful meal in a pleasant atmosphere. Afterwards, we visited the magnificent statue of David—seeing this masterpiece in person was absolutely amazing. Overall, the tour was perfectly planned, with a great balance of activities and pacing. Once again, thank you to Juliana for her professional guidance and to Luigi for his safe driving. You made this experience truly memorable!
We enjoyed this trip to Pisa and Florence. JB and Emilio were wonderful! Worth the time. Highly recommended.
Our tour guide was amazing she knew all the perfect picture spots and poses. She was very knowledgeable of the history and cultural shifts of the sites.
It was great visiting all the sites. I loved being picked up from my hotel instead of traveling 2 hours by train and trying to figure how to get there from Rome to Florence. Our tour guide Rashi was very nice and knowledgeable. He made sure we got great pictures at each site. I liked how at each historical site we got 30 min to 2 hour to walk around ourselves and explore or go to the little shops. The driver was great too, nice peaceful drive, the van was comfortable and clean. Would recommend this tour to anyone I know!
LaRishi was an excellent guide and Fabio was an excellent driver. It was a beautiful day in a beautiful city. Giovanni - our bonus guide in Florence was wonderful as well. We were able to see everything major in our day trip. It’s definitely on the list to return. Thanks so much to the team for helping us make wonderful memories! 10/10 would recommend this tour!!
Absolutely fantastic—worth every penny! Roberto (our driver) and Elisabetta (our guide) were incredible. We traveled from Rome to Pisa and Florence and felt completely taken care of the entire time. The service was top-notch—true white-glove treatment. Highly recommend!
Our family had a great experience with Nariman and Claudio. We travelled to Pisa and Florence and felt like the trip was very personalized to our group. They were very attentive to making sure we took breaks, were well fed and took WONDERFUL pictures of our group! We are looking forward to booking another tour with them when we return! *Nariman, my daughter wants you to know it’s the Flag of the Province of Pisa and ChatGPT did not help!!! 🤣
Nariman and Luigi took us from Rome to Florence. Had a wonderful time. We had to move quick to see everything, but so glad we did! Incredible sights and Nariman wasn’t too overbearing, yet still informative and funny. Would recommend!
My wife and I have been on many trips and taking many tours. This was certainly one of our favorites due to the guide Niraman and his driver Roberto (Jason😂) They both went above and beyond to make our day special. We got to see more in one day than most people see in a lifetime thank you to both of you and this trip was amazing.
It was ok, but not great. The tour guide in Florence was great but overall experience was so-so. I feel rushed and no flexibility or time to look around.
