It was too hot in the bus which made me feel sick. The route took a bit longer time then expected. Bus was easy to find from the airport
Beware the claim that the stop is 'a few steps from the Vatican ' It's a mile from the drop off to the Museum steps and a little further to the pick up point Otherwise it's good value for money in a comfortable coach. Journey time 1hr. 20min.
The shuttle service is reasonably priced and convenient. However, the man scanning our tickets behaved terribly, was rude, mean, and treated people disrespectfully. He almost pushed us into the line, he yelled at travelers and refused an elderly traveler to get on the bus yelling, " No...too late!!!" He left her behind and there was room on the bus!!
Easy and convenient transportation alternative compared to public transportation. A great value as well.
It is a very economical & easy way to get from the airport to the centre of Rome...... buses come regurlarly.
Getting to the bus was easy and they made sure we were on the right bus. Unfortunately, we could not understand what the driver was saying at the stops (it sounded like the same thing at each one) and we missed our stop and went all the way to the end of the route. When we asked the driver about not hearing when our stop came up he became very rude and said he announced it and we had to find a way back as it was not his problem it was ours shoved our luggage to us. I explained that we never heard out stop and again he said your problem not mine got in the bus and left us standing there with our luggage and no idea where we were. Finally got a uber to get us to the hotel that was a 20 minute drive back tracking the bus route we just took. We have used Viator several times and never had a problem but there is always a bad apple but would still recommend but hope you get a nicer driver.
Solo traveling I felt safer in a group. All went well getting to my hotel! Make sure to communicate with the driver. Thanks
Arafat &Luca was very friendly and helpfull we are grateful for the help it made much more easiee to get to the city centre
Our booked hotel was within 2 blocks from Termini which made this an economical choice to get there from the airport..
Reserving was easy with Viator, tickets available on phone. Viator sent regular reminders with pertinent information. We were clearly told there were 2 stops, one at the Vatican and then at Termini. We confirmed this with the agent upon boarding and he place our bags in a separate compartment for this stop. The driver announced the stop in garbled Italian, there was no Vatican in sight, and another passenger translated this was the Vatican stop. We were left off much too soon at a spot not on the itinerary, had to hurry off, left a small bag on the bus, and were left to find an alternate way to the Airbnb. Had to call customer service to retrieve our lost bag and spend a few hours the next day traveling to pick it up. If messaging had been clearer by our driver, none of this would have happened and the experience would have been very positive.
This company are great and the staff are very respectful 🖤 they always get you to the airport on time and the coach is clean and a great price for the service. I would like to especially mention Arafat at Fiumicino Airport in Rome - a lovely man. Thank you Arafat!
This was our first family tour in italy.we wanted cheapest option for Vatican & the guy who was working Rafat maybe. He told me scan our Qr and buy online. Then we bought online pay 7$ for person. We arrived Vatican within 40 minutes. Professional staf & Professional Service. Thanks again
It would be a lot easier if you gave a stall number for people to look for. The person looking at the tickets didn’t know where to look then took photos of my receipt when all he had to do was be patient so I could show him.
Clear instructions, product descriptions is exactly described, drive is safe and no BS. Appreciated others’ reviews.
The staff on the the street (ticket seller) and driver were rude and unhelpful. They were completely disinterested in the paying clients and even shouted at an old lady who had a walking cane to put her suitcase into the luggage hold at the base of the coach. Such behaviour is reprehensible and such staff need retraining at the very least. There is no management or supervision whatsoever. Not recommended.
Easy to use, getting to T3 after a long flight gives your legs a good stretch. Helpful team members.
The convenience and the cost is worth it for the money. However, our driver must be having a bad day as he was screaming and fighting with other drivers on the road. (Maybe it’s a culture thing?) the whole drive he must have yelled and honked at maybe 4 -6 different cars. I guess in the US we call it more like “road rage” :) the ticket guys are very helpful and friendly. But hey, it was a cheap and convenient ride for us so give it a try anyway.
I missed my stop at tge Vatican so I missed a private tour I thought the bus trip ended at the Vatican and we were already past it when I realized so I lost a $200 deposit plus received a $80; citation in Rome after getting on the wrong bus with no ticket
Bought tickets online as cheaper by €2 pp. €7pp. the pick up is at stand 16. Follow the bus signs at the airport. Easy to locate and terminal 1 and 3 are side by side. Simple to read timetable t all the stops, termini, aurelia, Vatican and airport. Member of staff checks ticket. Luggage stored under coach. Air con usb , charging points, clean coach. Took 35 mins to the Vatican stop. Stops are good easy to retrieve luggage. Booked ticket online for the return. Again staff at the stop to check you on. We arrived earlier at the stop and was allowed to use the previous coach no problem. Great service. Just book online, arrive 15 mins prior to bus time. Allow extra time for traffic at rush hours, unexpected incidents. People moaning about dropping at terminal three but terminal 1 is next door. We flew from terminal 1 it’s 5 mins.
Cheap way to get to your hotel in Rome vs private taxi. Less luggage lugging than the train outside international arrivals
The FCO bus to Vatican is a perfect ride of staying in the area and at Romini Termini. Our hotel was a Rosa the Piazza Risomigento which was only 5-7min walk. I recommend this bus ride. WiFi and charging plugs though wasn’t working during our ride. Price is also reasonable by the way. You don’t need to change trains to Vatican, it’s very convenient
Got pushed back to the next bus after standing 20 minutes in line, because the Viator ticket isnt timed and does not have a specific time slot. Total time in queue was 1 hour while looking at the buses next to this company - completely empty. Buy tickets on spot with other bus brands that don't have giant queues.
Rome airport is difficult to navigate. No information desk and no one wants to help so the directions on the ticket were unhelpful. A map that includes the airport and information about where to exit including other terminals would be helpful for those not in terminal 3. PS, neither Apple Maps or Google Maps will help you find the pickup spot.
An easy and cost effective solution. Was what we wanted to get from the airport to Termini in comfort and without any hassles.
Staying at hotel less than 15 minutes from the airport. Told to catch bus from bay 16 and when boarding was told it was the last stop (bit odd). 5 minutes into the trip and was roaring down an autobarn (now very odd). 1.5 hours later last stop reached with the hotel now 45 minute drive away. What the f? Raised this with the driver and went off an talked to the next ticket seller. He turns around and charges me again 9€ to go back to the airport where I was 1.5 hours ago. What scam 18€ for 3 hour round trip that should have been less than 15 minutes. Als says free wifi but doesn’t provide the password
Make sure you download ticket...we didn't know and had to run into a hotel across the street with wifi.. Meeting area was on time and accurate.
Really economical way to transfer from the airport to Rome city center. The instructions were clear.
Good efficient service and at 9 euros not expensive
Service was as described in booking. We arrived at one of the pick up locations and our tickets were quickly scanned. We loaded our luggage beneath the bus and boarded. Within 5-10 minutes, the bus departed, making two other stops before arriving at the airport. The drive was approximately a hour and drop off was at terminal 3.
This is a public bus. We waited in line for over an hour prior to getting on the bus. They allowed tour groups to go ahead of us, further delaying our departure.
Runs regularly and on schedule. Drop off is very central. Buses clean and comfortable. Most staff speak English.
Everything went as expected. It was perfect, easy to locate in terminal and a comfortable ride.
Bus was ready when we got there. Quick safe travel! You save 35$ this way instead of taxi. Busses on Otaky are definitely the way to travel efficiently.
Very difficult to locate after getting off the plane but once located, it was a smooth ride to town and we didn’t have to worry about our luggage or anything which was nice.
Worked really well, will use on return also.
Efficient, reliable, clear explanation Unfortunately feedback form does not work: ie ‘Next’ button does not work. Waste of time!
Booked a bus from Firmino to Rome but the actual ticket it gave me was from Rome to Firmino so I couldn't use it. don't know how I can get my money back. :-(
it will be good if the bus was more clean it will be good on booking extranet to mention the available schedule times
It was easy to find, just read the ticket for pickup location and it took us there. Cheaper than a taxi
Couldn't find the bus based on the directions you sent. Tried to use Maps app but even that couldn't get me there. I gave up and took a taxi. Cancelling the return ticket. I don't have the time to waste trying to hunt you down.
Bus was extremely reliable good and safe. On time and punctual easy to find, the driver made sure to let us know which stop we were at
Super easy and inexpensive way to get to the city. Our hotel was very close to the termini station and the bus was the way to go. If you don’t have a ticket you can get one at the airport, but you don’t get to skip the line. There was plenty of room for big luggage and bus was comfortable.
Excellent. Money Saver. Bus Clean and Neat. Caring Driver and his team Very Nice and Sweet Luggage compartment very nicely managed
Very convenient. Used this shuttle to go to the airport. Stop is behind Termini station. Drop off right at the terminal for check in at the airport. Will definitely use it again. FYI - the time on your tickets is different from the time you book on viator. That didn’t matter… tickets scanned and I got on the bus.
Shuttle Bus was 45 mins late for pickup. We were dropped off at the wrong location as driver was unable to assist with hotel directions
Only one bus leaves at a time. It makes 3 stops the last being the Central train station. Taxis are right there to take you wherever you want to go. It saved us a lot of money over taking an Uber.
Staff were very helpful on the trip I booked indepedently from Civitavecchia. And on this trip from Rome wr had no issues but the driver was in a hurry. So we stored wnd removed our own luggage which included a wheelchair. But all in all no issues.
Driver was excellent and very nice, explained everything about each of the stops and made sure people were getting off at the correct stop. There were a few difficult passengers complaining, however, that was on them. Description was very clear about stops and timings.
The gentleman at the airport who was helping guests and the driver were awesome. We had a flight delay, contacted the company (8 hours ahead of time) and was told it would be fine. But it wasn't, the tickets we had were not valid since time delay and had to repurchase tickets. Tried to contact the company and they never returned our emails.
