I arranged this experience on April 7, 2026, for an English-speaking family: two grandparents, both 76, travelling with their two grandchildren, aged 13 and 15. The family had just completed a 3-hour guided visit of the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica, so it was important to find an experience that would feel enjoyable, engaging, and suitable for all ages. This was easily our most favorite tour of Rome! Alberto met us and took us around in his vintage Fiat and showed us his city in the most authentic and beautiful way! He took us to all the spots that are just as breathtaking as the major landmarks without all the crowds! Being older and having some mobility issues, this was the best way for me to see all the very best of Rome through the eyes of someone who lives there and experiences it all. We booked this tour with Roberto for our first day of our trip. Roberto picked us up by the train station. Even though I had been to Rome before Roberto took us to many places around Rome that I had never been to and gave us so much information. We had so much fun zipping around Rome in his little fiat. He played Italian music for us that really set a fun mood too. Roberto was very professional and made us feel very welcome to Rome. He wanted to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves and took pictures of us throughout the time we spent with him. When he dropped us off at the end of the tour, he gave us names of a place to have pizza and gelato. We tried both of them and they were both excellent. When I go back to Rome I will book another tour with Roberto.

We had the pleasure of spending a wonderful morning with Alberto. Our friends had booked the tour for our family of three and the two of them. Alberto and his colleague met us at a central location with two amazing vintage Fiats refurbished to perfection, and to the iconic music of Al Bano and Romina Power we set off. Alberto's expertly organized tour took us to unique and interesting locations away from the beaten track and tourist crowds. Alberto's engaging and welcoming nature made for a lovely experience that we would not hesitate to recommend to all our friends coming to Rome. It is not to be missed. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Rome. We were a group of 5 and so were distrubuted into two cars (1969 FIAT 500 and 1960 FIAT 600). Both immaculately restored. We requested Alberto to do a “Rome by Night” tour for us in the 6 hours that we had in the capital. Even though it’s not something he usually does, we were very happy that he agreed. He met us at Termini and we immediately felt we were in good hands. To summarize, Alberto showed us all the sites that were beautifully lit at night; we were able to stop or pass by very closely and he was more than happy to take some great shots for us. The tour with Alberto in his Fiat was the highlight of our family visit to Rome. Alberto had excellent communication before ensuring that we had all needed details beforehand. The tour was AWESOME! This trip was honestly the most fun thing to do. Alberto showed us some great sights around Rome that we wouldn't necessarily have seen ourselves, and is the nicest guy to spend a couple of hours with, not to mention that Topolino is the cutest car. We booked Alberto rather than some of the larger companies as I liked the way he described the adventure. We were not disappointed, it was an amazing experience and brilliant fun. Weaving in and out of tiny areas in his immaculate Cinqucento. Everyone was waving at us and wanting to take photos.
