Carlotta was a wonderful guide! She was entertaining, enthusiastic, patient, and helpful. As someone who’s made pasta before, this class was still well worth the experience. Came with pasta with choice of three sauces, ravioli with butter/sage, tiramisu, and a glass of wine
This was a great beginner’s class! Our chef, Lori, was terrific and very patient. She explained things very well and was quick to help if needed. The restaurant was easy to find and our lunch, that we made ourselves, was delicious! If you want something different to do in Rome, this is it!

Cooking experience with Chef Marco was fun, awesome and incredible. Chef Marco was highly skillful, funny and gave very clear directions to all the participants. He also catered to our needs of not using eggs for cooking our pasta and ravioli. It was a fun experience to not only cook but meet other new people. It is definitely an experience worth going while in Italy.
We absolutely loved this experience!! Carlotta was so much fun. We really enjoyed having dinner with all of the other tourists in our class too. We are excited to make our Pasta and Tiramisu at home !!

Carlotta kept the instructions simple and both me and my 11 year old were successful and had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend! And would try to get Carlotta- she stepped in and gave personalized instructions to people and so no one felt left behind or stuck! And at the end we got to eat the amazing food with other travelers!
Leonello was a good guide. We had fun. The only problem I had was that they seemed to mix all the pasta together.
We learnt how to prepare fetucine,ravioli and Tiramisu. Leonello was amazing and ofcourse very patient .Wewere given the exact recipes afterwards so we can try it at home too.All in all avery enjoyable experience.

Group size about 20 people. You cook your own meal then served with a glass of wine. Cooking instructor very knowledgeable. Class held in a restaurant. There are multiple classes going at one time and seemed rushed. Next cooking class, prefer a smaller setting in a private home.

Chef Leo was fantastic! Excellent instruction and energy. You will prepare, but not cook the pasta. It’s not very complicated so don’t feel any pressure! We had a lovely chat with other guests during the meal. It was fun and well worth the price.

We had a marvelous time cooking with Mattia!! He was so skilled and kind, and made the whole experience approachable and fun. It was extremely well organized and flowed smoothly even with a big group. Many of our group are not regular chefs and they loved this experience too. Bonus, the restaurant is near a ton of central attractions so you’re right in the center of Rome for fun before and after. Can’t recommend it enough!

I had no idea what to expect with this event while traveling to Rome, but it was definitely a highlight for our family. Not only do you get to eat a delicious meal, we learned how to make a few Italian staples while having fun as a family. The chef instructions were easy to follow and I feel like I can go home and make my own fresh pasta. We all agreed that the sauces used to accompany our creations would have made anything taste delicious. Sitting around the table, family style, with our group afterwards was fun. We met new people from all around the globe and bonded over our delicious creations.

The staff was incredible from start to finish. Mimi the chef was fun, engaging, informative, and got everyone involved in everything we did from start to finish. The pasta was easier than I thought it would be and very delicious. My family said this was by far the best part of our trip to Italy.
This class at Restaurant Gusto in Rome is extremely well-done and very organized. It’s all a lot of fun. We and about 20 others in our group had a great time learning to make homemade fettuccine noodles and tiramisu. Later in the evening we all sat at a table together, enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine and ate the food we made. Was one of many highlights of this trip.
