Finding the private residence would’ve been almost impossible if we hadn’t lucked out and had another restaurateur point us in the right direction, then our host’s souls chef happened to be outside the door. He could tell we were lost then guided us into a tiny doorway in the alley. When we got there, our experience was more than worth it!! Our host Mikayla was full of positive energy. She welcomed our personalized group of 12 and immediately served delicious appetizers. She explained each course in detail and the 5 courses were superb. Her place is quaint and beautifully decorated and we got to watch them preparing our dishes. She even broke out music and passed out tambourines for us to join in! She danced with 2 of the guests as she sang and served dessert. We had a delightful experience and felt like family! My husband and I highly recommend!!

Michaela was exceptionally amazing! One of “The best”experiences in Rome in my opinion. Meeting new friends with food made farm to table with love was totally worth the time! It was also my wife’s birthday and Michaela went out of her way to celebrate with her… This lady is Love personified!
Michela , the restaurant owner, has done an outstanding job , we went around Trastevere both to shop for the food we would later cook and enjoy some cheese and porchetta testing. The location is super cool , a very loft in a beautiful square of Trastevere, inside a lot of space to cook and share the dinner. Her explanations are spot on and Michela clearly cares about her customers and the overall experience. I would recommend to anybody, both Italians and foreigners, to attend to the class, everything worked out fantastically, for sure over our expectations. This is an experience you don’t what to miss. Michela does an outstanding job hosting, cooking and making sure 13 of us at her dinner this night left friends. Don’t be concerned about the graffiti you see on the door of her building. This was our second visit to Michela and Paolo. They are such great hosts and the food and wine are wonderful. It’s always fun to meet new people at Eatwith dinners. We also visited a local market with Michela the next morning and that was great.
Michela and Paola were excellent hosts leading us through an evening of culinary treats. It was a wonderful way to spend an evening in Rome with an eclectic group who came together over good food and conversation. The music from the plaza was an added bonus creating a wonderful backdrop to the evening. Highly recommend.
This was our first dinner with Eatwith and it was incredible! Michela and Paolo were amazing hosts and the food was outstanding. It was one of the best meals we had in Rome! It was such a cool experience to be in a local's home and eat their local cuisine and to meet and mingle with interesting people from around the world. I can't recommend this dinner enough! My boyfriend and I loved it so much that when we saw Michela was coming to NYC to host a dinner we decided to book a weekend trip just for another amazing food experience. It's in a couple weeks and we can't wait for round 2! Definitely do not miss this Eatwith experience when you're in Rome!

Our dinner with Michela and Paolo was fantastic start to finish! they are great hosts who prepared an amazing dinner while making us feel "at home" in Rome. I would highly recommend this experience as opposed to dining at a restaurant. This was our 1st Eatwith, but will not be our last!
We were fortunate to have the Christmas experience of a lifetime! Besides enjoying the fabulous feast, it was so nice to meet new friends. Michela & Paola are old friends and both are great chiefs. It’s a must do when visiting Rome!
A wonderful evening of authentic Roman food, wine and conviviality that gave us insight into life in Trastavere. We felt welcomed into their home as friends and were treated to great food in an intimate family setting.
