Was a very quick tour seemed to be rushing through. Expensive for how quick the tour was would recommend self guided tour

Such an interesting experience! I highly recommend it. I think you can book right through the Crypt so don’t need to use this vendor but it worked well for us so no regrets.

Not too long buy tickets ahead of time. Just makes it easier. You can go through without a tour or audio. The good stuff is at the end but audio explains the crypts

We got off to a slow skip the line start because a group of 100 (not a typo) was in front of our small group. Our guide did his best to get us started and to navigate around such a large group. I thought he handled the situation the best anyone could given the dynamics. Our guide was knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. The museum area and the crypts are amazing. It was a very interesting tour. I would recommend for adults and older kids.

This was a unique and amazing experience. Like no other church in rome. A must see when visiting Rome

We did this tour with slobodan the Serbian guy. He was excellent, very informative and lightened the tour up with a few jokes. Well worth the money

Our tour guide was very informative and if you love dad jokes then definitely go with this tour. I’m not disappointed but I guess I was more expecting that the crypt was at least a few stories underground rather than a couple feet.

My favorite experience. Slob was incredible! Best tour guide this trip! Great English speaker. He managed to balance the trip with historical facts and keep it enjoyable. The crypts were a beautiful experience with an eerie factor. Can’t recommend this tour enough.

What an amazing tour!!!Our tour guide was great. He explained everything about the Monks and why they did what they did. He respect for the crypt was very touching. We did this over seeing other sites in the area and were glad we did. It was not creepy of weird. It was a very impressive display of respect for life and death. Highly recommend and would do again.

Guide gave out facts, but definitely did not make any effort to connect with anyone on the tour. But the history was interesting.

The information given by our guide was very good however the tour was very pricey for the 45 minute duration.

This was an interesting tour that was something different to see. Our guide gave thorough explanations & provided some humour to his commentary. He made sure everyone was comfortable when we were in the crypts since it can be somewhat of a claustrophobic environment. We would recommend this tour.

Eva was so sweet and had a true passion for the history of Rome and the Crypts. She really engaged with us, and it felt very personal with only eight people. I thought about doing this without a guide, but it was so nice having the personal stories. She really conveyed the spirituality and artistry of the crypt.

Guide was excellent!! Incredibly knowledgeable, and eager to share his knowledge with the group. He took his time describing the history of the Capuchins in the small museum prior to the crypt itself. A phenomenal experience not to be missed!!

Amazing tour and tour guide! Just the perfect amount of time to appreciate the crypts and extra time to return to the museum independently after the tour. A definite most when visiting Rome.

We had limited time before another longer tour, so this quick visit to the Capuchin Crypts was just right for us. We wanted to see something like the catacombs without going to the outskirts of the city. The church is very conveniently located. Tips: 1) Women must have shoulders and knees (barely) covered, but they will issue you a flimsy cover-up if you forget to bring your wrap. 2) NO PHOTOS are allowed. They have surveillance cameras and will catch you and call you out. I didn't try, but others in my group did. 3) I thought it would be cold, and was looking forward to cooling off on a hot July day, but the crypt is not really underground. Just down a half level, but after having gone up front steps of church. So you don't need to bundle up like in the real catacombs. 4) Nice little souvenir shop. Since you can't take photos, buy a couple of postcards instead and scan them at home for your digital photo album.

This was a pretty short tour and we didn't learn too much so it was not one of my favorites. If you are prioritizing events I would put this one at the bottom of my list. Interesting, but others in Rome are better.

This was a great tour. I didn't initially realise the tickets include a tour guide as well and this was definitely a very positive surprise! Slobodan was a great guide, he is obviously very knowledgeable of the crypt, monks and the historical framework. I really recommend this tour because Slobodan is able to mention and point out different museum pieces and give you an insight which you wouldn't find elsewhere so this is definitely worth the money. The tour really managed to put things in perspective and we really benefited from having an expert in the room to guide us through. I recommend!

Very interesting tour guide, a lot of information on the history behind the monks and history of the order. Fairly small crypt, easy to walk through.

This was the best tour I went on in my entire trip to Italy. It carried the most enriching history and beautiful story surrounding what some might consider a macabre display of artwork. Our tour guide, Boban (apologies if spelt incorrectly) met with us at the meeting point literally over the road from the museum and then we walked over to begin our tour. Boban was extraordinarily passionate about the history of the Capuchin and this showed in the tour delivery. He was able to point out specific artefacts in the museum and explain to us what they were with some outstanding facts relevant to modern history as well. Definitely a though-provoking and insightful tour. This was all before we got to see the crypts themselves. Out of respect for the Capuchin you cannot take photos inside the museum and you are being heavily monitored on security cameras if you even attempt to reach for your camera so please be aware that this tour is genuinely a respectful and insightful tour. Not just to go and see some bones and skeletons on display. I found being in the crypts themselves a very moving experience learning about the Capuchin and how the crypts came to be. Even at the end of the tour the lady at reception when I asked politely in Italian let me wander back through the museum and take my time observing and reading about more artefacts and the crypts. Thank you for an amazing tour!

This was a very interesting tour! Our guide had a lot of knowledge on the subject matter and was very personable and patient with my nine year old daughter's questions. The crypts were eerie and beautiful. A very nice tour that does not take the whole day!

A guided tour is a must to understand what this is all about. Well worth paying the extra as it provides context to the history of the capuchin order and why they did what they did. we had a good knowledgeable guide.

Absolutely amazing, the tour itself was fantastic. The guide was very knowlegable and took her time to explain the story fully to us. Afterwards we went into the church and was sang to by their group breathtakingly beautiful and well worth the money, although not overly expensive anyway. Cant wait to go back !
