The gide was very nice and the gallery was mind-blowing, considering what kind of art is in the gallery! But I felt like instead of focusing for 10 minutes on one item, we could have spent 2 minutes on five different art pieces and didn't have to skip many of them this way. I understand that since we couldn't keep water with us, the whole tour was cut short to 1 and a half hours, but still, I think no one needs to listen ten minutes about one statue. I would like to add that The Crown tour operator Julia, who met us in the front, told us that "it's more convenient for people to meet at the other spot, other than the exact meeting point in instructions, after I told her it says to meet by the water fountain. No one was waiting there. I noticed some attitude in her voice. I think people need to recognize that many of us travel alone and get nervous. Meeting rules means for everyone, not only for visitors. Please keep in mind that operators do what they want sometimes and even if it says meeting point at such and such place, keep your eyes open or call them directly and ask em where you should meet them precicely. This was not appreciated.

The tour guide made the Borghese less overwhelming by picking great pieces of artwork to educate and focus our group tour on.

A must see when in Rome! The museum is incredible and you could spend all day touring the grounds! Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining what we were seeing. Would do again!

The Borghese Villa was magnificent and our guide was excellent. So much to marvel at! The meeting instructions could have been simpler by just saying go to the Villa entrance. We got there just in time. An unforgettable experience and must do when in Rome. I would do the tour again.

It was a bit hard to find the meeting point but once the tour started it was good. A beautiful Art Gallery with tons of famous art. Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and as advertise was an Art historian & very knowledgeable. It was a little busy inside, but the garden is huge and open to the public (It is a city park basically) so people were spread out. The price was a bit High, but I wanted to learn about art that I don't really know about, so I wanted the guided tour and it paid off. It was worth it, but if you just want to look at the art & read the plaques you could do a much cheaper self audio guide. It took about 2 hours to go through. Lots of walking on this one & stairs & hills in the garden.

Many people told us the Borghese Gallery was the most beautiful gallery in all of Rome and I would have to agree. This gallery should be a must see for any visitors to Rome. The mix of statues and paintings is stunning. My only complaint is that I would have liked more time to see everything. Our guide, Viktoria, was very knowledgeable about the artists and the individual pieces and walked us through the history of the collection.

This was a fabulous tour through the Borghese. Agnes was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. Her insights into particular pieces was extraordinary. The pace was just right, crowds were low so we had time and space.

Artwork guide was FRED. He was amazing. It was our last tour in a month long trip in Italy, where we went on about 10 different tours and it was our best by far. He was so passionate and so knowledgeable about all of the artwork and the backstory of the statues, etc., etc. we thoroughly enjoyed it on a further note I was traveling with two career artist artists engineer design designers, so for them to have the same feeling is really telling it was our favorite highly recommend it is a can't miss and I hope you get a tour guide as good as ours.

Much easier to tour than Vatican. Gallery organized more by theme rather than 100 yards of lines of statues like Vatican museum. Lovely grounds, excellent group guide. Small, group of six.

Our tour guide was AMAZING!! I almost cried looking at the art and the way she presented it was so perfect for my husband and I as well as our children who are 10 and 13. Just spectacular! I love that the museum does timed tours to avoid it being too crowded and loud. You got to be a part of the rooms and the themes and it was quite beautiful
