I did a private tour by myself (wife did not feel well) with Mariel. The food was outstanding and Mariel was great. She took me to really nice places and told interesting stories throughout. She is very nice, personable guide. I felt somewhat away from the typical tourist areas, which made the experience even better. Like I said, the food was amazing. Mariel made sure I got back to my meeting spot (it was a shore excursion) with time to spare. If you are interested in this type of tour, I highly recommend you see if Mariel is available.

We had the most wonderful time on our food tour with Mariel. We learnt so much about Rome’s history, ate delicious food, and the whole experience was a real highlight of our time in the city. Mariel was so knowledgeable and gorgeous, and we couldn’t have asked for a lovelier host. Walking through the Jewish Quarter was particularly moving and gave us an insight into this part of Rome’s history that we never would have appreciated in the same way otherwise. Cannot recommend this experience - or Mariel - more highly! ❤️

We did the Trastevere food tour. I highly recommend this tour. Valentina was a wonderful guide. We ate at 8 fantastic places. Our guide explained all the different dishes we had and how some of them were made. We tried different varieties of food, all Roma dishes. We enjoyed wine with a few of our tastings and were able to visit a wine cellar. Our tasing tour ended with gelato! We enjoyed the foods, the comraderie with guests at the table. This was a great experience

We had a private tour with Leo for a food tour including the Jewish Ghetto & Trastevere areas. Leo was an excellent guide & provided information on the historical significance of some of the areas we saw. When we arrived at the restaurants, everything was arranged in advance, so no waiting or worry about crowds. We tried several different foods, each accompanied by some wine! It was a great tour & we would recommend!

Michele has an inviting spirit that set the tone for our tour. May it have been the impressive wine selection that helped nourish conversation, his attention to inclusivity made our group tour that much more comfortable in an unfamiliar place with new people. His expertise of the area was not just impressive, he made the history come to life. With the endless questions our group had, we dug deep into his seemingly neverending knowledge. The food, rich with its own history, was diverse and delicious that filled us up just the right amount over our 4 hour journey. Topped with laughter and wonderful interactions, this experience was unforgettably delightful.

Toni was a fabulous guide! Right from the beginning she made us feel like family. Toni’s knowledge of the neighborhoods was exceptional as was her relationship with each owner/staff of the places we stopped at. Definitely no shortage of food or wine, there was no way you could leave this experience hungry!

Tour was great- small group and really well organized. Our guide was very informative. We tried a lot of food and drinks did walk quite a bit. Most places had a table to sit too which was nice.

We had a great Eternal Rome food tour with Michele yesterday evening. He was professional and knowledgeable but very approachable and friendly. We really enjoyed all of the stops, they were varied and delicious. A great first outing for our time in Rome, we were able to learn some history about the neighborhoods and pick up some ‘off-the-beaten path’ places to revisit. Highly recommend!

I became familiar with this tour from a Youtube video. We'd really liked the video and so booked this tour. It was something that I was really looking forward to, and it did not disappoint. We had Michele as a guide. He was friendly and informative and we really enjoyed his company. The tour started on Campo d'Fiori, went into the Jewish Ghetto and ended in Trastevere. I would highly recommend this tour. It was a highlight of the trip for us!
