What a fantastic tailored service, reasonable priced and safe and quality bikes. From enquiry to the day of hire, super star! We loved hiring bikes from this quaint store. Checked all our kids, proper locks and gave us hints and tips to travel out of the city. Do this! You won’t regret it.

Walter was an amazing host. He was very helpful and explained all the features of the bike. He made the rental very easy for us.

Getting the bikes was seamless and easy. They have you sign a form in case of liabilities and the show how to use the bike rack and then you just have to bring it back by around 7pm! Very nice people and we had such a good ride around town with the bikes!

Great bikes. Location short walk from the colosseum. Has a great time on a self tour. We had a small bike glitch but owner came right away to fix the problem. Would recommend.

Absolutely incredible experience! Easily the highlight of our trip and by the far the best way to see the Eternal City, especially if you’re short on time and on a budget. Valerio was exceptional — warm, super engaged, and knew all of the best spots. His passion for the city is infectious, and his insider tips (from the best gelato to scenic photo spots) were spot on. Bikes were in excellent condition and the ride was smooth and enjoyable, even for those in our group who aren’t confident cyclists. It felt more like exploring the city with a local friend than being on a formal tour. Can’t recommend this enough if you want to see Rome from a unique perspective, learn a ton, and have a great time doing it. Thank you!!

Hire an electric bike for me and my Son. Owners were very welcoming to us and even gave my son a fanta drink. Bike was an amazing and batt lasted for a long time and plenty left when we got back. Definitely recommended. 10/10 service can’t fault them.

If you are wondering if you should rent from this place, definitely yes! The owner that spoke very little English sat down with us and explained about his home of Calabria over a couple cups of espresso. We took the electric bikes on a self guided ride past Circus Maximus, the Appia way and by the ancient Aqueducts. Was a long ride (4 hours) but so much fun. If you are worried about riding in the streets and sometimes on the sidewalks with pedestrians, then be cautious about taking this route or find another route. Overall, was a great experience with such a wonderful owner! Grazie Mille!

Wife’s bike was a bit rubbish as she had to peddle like mad to get any movement from the motor which made it hard at lights and roundabouts etc. In all if you want to hire a bike here do so. Guy is nice and helpful but ride round a bit by the shop to make sure you are happy with the bike. Rome is like any city,- busy. If you are comfy riding a bike in that environment do it. If not, it really isn’t the place to learn. I loved it, the wife hated it. But can’t complain about the actual service. Remember your passport or DL.

Great service, we went everywhere on the bikes. A great way to see the sights and also down the back streets. The lock/chain was handy for locking the bikes when we stopped

Cheap and nice , Well located we spent 25 eu for two bikes the entire Day, they gave us a lock to be able to leave it somewhere when needed it took like two minutes of our time it gave us the chance to see a lot of nice places the Best way ever. thanks to ecovia we,ll be back

My son and I took a taxi out to 175 Appia Antica and hired ebikes from there. We cycled down the Appia Antica to the Aqueduct Park and back. With a nice picnic lunch break it took about 2.5 hrs. It was one of our favourite activities on our trip. The bikes were great, easy to use and the staff friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. However, the map we were given was lacking in detail and not easy to follow and I think google maps mistakenly took us on to a very busy road so needs caution and probably not ideal for very young bikers! An alternative is to stick to the ancient road itself which is very quiet from the ebike point onwards and just cycle out and back along the route for however long suits. There is a lovely little cafe with a good range of food and drink at the rental place so easy to get provisions for a picnic or have a pit stop there. Worth noting that there are no other places en route to get anything. As an experience, it was wonderful to be able to cycle along such an historic route and really gives another perspective on Rome compared to that from the city centre. Can highly recommend.

A beautiful experience with an optimal location for renting bikes. From where you pick up the bikes, you can easily explore the city. The staff is excellent, and the bikes are perfect.

The small bike shop is highly recommended. We booked two e-bikes for a tour to Via Appia Antica online we were received very friendly. The bikes with a sufficiently large battery were already ready. The store is near the Colosseum. From there we account to use the bike path.

We rented electric bikes Aurelia Lombardo, really spectacular. And the owner Valerio is courteous and nice. Really a positive experience, we had fun!

We had a great day the bikes work very well we were able to visit the Vatican Museum 17 minutes by bike instead of an hour on foot as well as the Pantheon The owner is very friendly despite that we do not speak Italian We highly recommend this property Thanks to you!
