This trip is excellent! I wasn’t expecting so much beauty, it was a little fast paced but I was so happy to tick 2 best places in Italy in 1 day! Desiree was exceptional with her care, and Show Me Italy offered us a welcoming drink in a restaurant. Pompei is huge Sorrento is so beautiful! Ill come back again and do it again!

Great tour overall! Good value for money and our Pompeii guide Roberta and host Desiree were fantastic. My only note would be that for all the starting times available, it ended up being the same in the morning. It didn’t matter that we booked 7.30 - we still had to board with people that booked 6.30am. It’s a very early start but overall the tour is well organised and you feel taken care of. Sorrento is more a fun bonus, Pompeii is the main attraction.

Early morning pick up but well worth the day. The bus driver was amazing as he drove the twisty roads of the almalfi coast. Little things like the what’s App - group chat helped keep people informed and the video clips with the history of the area were great. Overall good day.

Was a good day overall and the tour leader Desiree was really good and knowledgeable and very polite. Only down side to our day was the weather which can’t be helped, so our Sorrento visit was quite wet. However taking that out of consideration the trio was very good and the day was very enjoyable.

Well organized day to both Sorrento and Pompei. Drive and the views of the Amalfi coast were incredible. Tour company’s guide and driver were great and went out of their way to make it memorable. Pompei was remarkable - a bit of history frozen in time.

My son, Noam, and I had the best time on the excursion. Our guide, Desiree, was amazing, kind, organized, and completely went above and beyond. I searched so many sites to find an excusion to Pompi, and not o ly did this one have Pompi, but it also had the Amolfi coast which is absolutely stunning. It also gives you the longest time im both locations (1.5 hours in each) when all thw others only give you 30 to 45 minutes which is not long at all. None of the others had that much time. You also get to see so much more of Italy since you're on a bus and can just look at everything. Desiree also provided so much information about Pompi and Sorento and made sure everyone had whatever they needed. She was the best. I could not find any other options like this one, plus who better to show you around than someone who lives here and knows theor country. Thank you so much, Desiree, for the most amazing day, and for helping us get back to our hotel in the fastest way possible. This was the absolute best for our money and the pri es was also cheaper than the others.

Incredible trip! Our first stop we were able to enjoy one of the greatest donuts we ever had before we got the chance to see some of the most beautiful sights of the amalfi coast l, taste some of the best lemon based items and then see an incredible and personally life-changing time at Pompeii.

We had a great time on our trip! Desiree was a fantastic guide. She was so much fun but also very strict about timeliness which I appreciate. We went to Sorrento first and then Pompeii because of a traffic issue, and I really enjoyed taking the trip that way! Sorrento was so beautiful and Pompeii was so interesting and haunting. This trip is a great option for travelers who have limited days in Italy or don’t want to switch hotels to see everything they want to see. 10/10 experience!

The tour guide was great. The destination was truly spectacular..beautiful...with so many shops and restaurants and friendly people. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Pompeii and Sorrento were very memorable experiences. Tour was worth while. Bus was spacious and comfortable. Operator kept everything organized and on schedule even with traffic. Bus ride didn’t include much beyond the transportation. They provided a link to an app for audio/video explanation rather than a more personalized presentation. Ride back included some ice breakers and games which might have been better in the morning to get to know other tourists prior to the activities. Walking tour in Pompeii was a little chaotic and seemed bit disorganized in the beginning. You should expect heavy crowds in Pompeii (September). Guide provided meaningful explanations. Tour guide focused on the brothels a bit more than necessary. There were parts of the tour where the guide could have explained things while walking to maximize time spent. Our tour was a group of 30-35 but bus capacity was up to 50 so it might have been smaller than usual. If you can afford a private or semi private tour you might find it more enjoyable.

Desiree made this an amazing trip for our family!! The bus ride was very comfortable and we even played games on the way home. Pompeii was amazing and driving along the Amalfi Coast is breathtaking!! We knew ahead of time that it would be a short time in Sorrento. We had a nice lunch there close to the water. My only thing I would change if possible is to have lunch at a restaurant that had a view from your table so you could take in the view while eating. I do recommend this trip if you have the time for a day trip while visiting Rome. Again, I want to give a special thanks to Desiree for making this a special memory made on our family vacation to Italy !!

Desirée was a great guide. She was patient, interactive and attentive. Pompeii was an amazing sight to see, definitely a must when traveling to Italy. The convenience of having lunch ordered and ready upon arrival to Sorrento was a plus! I do wish there was a bit more time at Sorrento and also Amalfi coast should be omitted from the name of the tour as it was not included so that was a little misleading.

Fantastic day. Pompeii was amazing and the guide was very knowledgeable. Desiree had many great suggestions during the trip and the restaurant in Sorrento had great service and great food. Great to see both locations on the same day. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend!

Our bus guide was delightful! However our guide through Pompeii was hard to see while following her. She left some of us at the restroom and went on. Luckily we found them. She needs a flag or colorful hat! The rest of the trip was wonderful.

The Pompeii and Sorrento tour was amazing! Desiree was a fantastic tour guide, and our bus driver, Massimiliano, did an incredible job getting us safely and comfortably to all of our destinations. The price was fair and reasonable for what we received, and the length of the tour was just right. We started at 7:00 AM and finished around 7:00 PM, which gave us plenty of time to get a great taste of both Pompeii and Sorrento without feeling too rushed. Overall, my family and I really enjoyed the trip. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Italy! 🇮🇹

We had such a great day visiting Pompeii and Sorrento! Desiree was our guide for the day and she was wonderful. She has great charisma, a very friendly personality, and helped everything run smoothly from beginning to end. Our guide in Pompeii was also amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. We were able to explore so much of the ancient city and really get a feel for its history, which was one of the highlights of the trip. After Pompeii, we continued to Sorrento and had free time to explore on our own, which we really enjoyed. Having our lunch ordered ahead of time before arriving was also a great idea because it saved us valuable time and allowed us to make the most of our visit. We honestly would have loved for the trip to be longer because there is so much more to see in both places, but the itinerary is perfect for getting a wonderful taste of Pompeii and Sorrento in one day. We had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this tour!

This was a fantastic way to experience both Pompeii and Sorrento in one day. Desiree made the trip especially enjoyable with her great personality, energy, and charisma. She kept the day organized and made everything feel easy and relaxed. The tour of Pompeii was excellent. Our local guide was amazing and gave us the opportunity to see and learn about a large portion of the ancient city. It was fascinating and definitely worth visiting with a guide. We also really enjoyed having time to explore Sorrento independently afterward. Pre-ordering lunch before we arrived was very helpful and saved us time so we could enjoy more of the town. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer because both Pompeii and Sorrento have so much more to explore! That being said, the tour is very well planned and gives you a great introduction to both destinations. Definitely a memorable day and one we would recommend. We will come back and spend more days in Sorrento.

Very good trip for family and very good guide Desire!!!!!

Everything was very timely, the agenda was explained in detail and in advance to prepare well for the day. The bus was very comfy, ac great and there’s usb to charge your phones. It was a hot day of course but prepare well with a hat, electric fan, water and sunglasses. You stop by stops along the way to each destination for bathroom and snacks. The tour at Pompeii was great, the tour guide was fun and kept the experience light and very informative. It was pretty packed but our tour guide was good at maneuvering crowds. I wish more time could be spent at sorrento but it was great overall. The restaurant at Sorrento had delicious food, I got the fried sea bass with lasagna.
