Alice did a wonderful job during our first tour of the Capuchin crypts. She was very informative, gave wonderful recommendations and even walked us to the starting point of our next tour Camilla was amazing for the dark side ghost tour. She was incredibly well-informed and passionate. She did a wonderful job tying multiple stops together with fallbacks and foreshadowing. Truly a world-class tour guide!

We had an excellent time on our tour, Ben was our guide for both, and I learned so many spooky stories and facts walking through Rome, things we passed by multiple times on the trip and didn’t even notice! The crypt was so fascinating and beautiful, not at all what I expected. We aware; if you book the combo tour it is a lot of walking, so make sure you’re prepared for that. They do sell them separately too if you don’t think you can walk that long, our tour finished after 10pm. We loved it though!
Such a fun way to kick off our first night in Rome! The guide, Arielle, was a fantastic story teller and so knowledgeable. The tour was a great combo of spook and city history. We got a little lost on our way to the tour, and she kindly caught us up once we connected with the group. Definitely suggest leaving WAY before you think you need to in Rome, just for everything.

Awesome tour and very informative! Felt like we saw so much a of the city and learned so much. Ben has so much knowledge of the city and gave us plenty of recommendations for outside of the tour. Do keep in mind if you do the combo tour it is ~4 hours of walking, so dress comfortably, but totally worth it!
Ariel was a true delight as a guide for our catacombs tour. Knowledgeable and plenty of anecdotes! She is worth taking the tour all over again. Ben led our tour of ghosts and horribleness. A great wit, and much information about the evils of men in Ancient Rome.

An amazing experience for our party, 1 adult and 2 teenagers. Our guide, Arielle, was knowledgable and funny, the tour was interactive , captivating the attention of the youngsters. Many “AHA” moments. Need to mention that with larger groups/tours/companies, the guide is not allowed in the Capuchin crypt, so the experience is so much more valuable then an audioguide. We are happy that we chose the Combo tour as they “complimented” each other with dark stories . It was the best part of our short trip to Rome and the one that most certainly will remain in the kids memory l. As for the adult… well, 4th time in Rome and it was very nice to find out less known facts about this incredible town and its history. Definitely worth the tour! Marilena gave us a great tour. She was knowledgable about the Franciscan friars which added a lot of value when we toured the crypt. She also gave us interesting and spooky tidbits about places around the city as we walked from location to location.

We did both the Capuchin Crypts Tour and the Dark Side Ghost Tour on our last day in Rome, and they turned out to be some of the most memorable experiences of the trip. The stories and history shared weren’t the typical facts you'd easily stumble upon, which made the tours feel unique and worthwhile. A big shoutout to Alythia, our guide — she struck a great balance between being informative and engaging, and made an effort to connect with everyone in the group. A really solid way to wrap up our time in the city.
This was so much fun, I'd highly recommend. Not like some of the "tourist trap" type activities you can fall into. Me and my 18 yr old son did the bone crypt and ghost tour and Alythia not only made it super fun but also we learnt so much quirky history and facts! My 18;yr old thoroughly enjoyed, as did I!

We did the combo tour as a family and although it was a very long evening we all absolutely loved it. Our guide Ivana was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, about the tour but also about Rome generally. We learned so much and discovered so many amazing things we would never have known, and also got taken to a great gelato shop on the way! This was a great way to experience the darker side of Rome!
The tours were a wonderful experience and knowledgeable guides. Both were personable and gave the information both humorously and professionally. The crypts were incredibly interesting and learning how they came to be was fascinating. If you have a couple of hours, this should definitely be on your schedule

This tour was fantastic. The guide was funny and entertaining. He told us history from a completely different perspective. We did this tour toward the end of our trip, so we had already seen some of the sights on different tours. I’m so glad that we went again. We saw the sights through totally new eyes. It was so much cooler to learn the personal history and lesser known facts. The tour was really well organized and researched. We also saw a lot of completely new sights. I feel like this tour helped us get to know the historical people of Rome better than any others. If you only do one tour in Rome, make it this one!
My Mom and I did these 2 tours with our tour guide Ben. It was so interesting and amazing. Ben was very knowledgeable on the tours. The bones were eerily beautiful and the ghost tour was crazy thinking about what happened to the people in his stories.
It was a dark and stormy night (with cold wind and rain to boot) but our guide, Alethea, made our night an absolute pleasure. This combo package is no joke. Get ready quite the night out if you do both tours in the same night (which we did) but the Crypts are such a natural lead in to the Rome tour that I wouldnt have it any other way. If you like the darker side of society (from murders to ancient death rituals), this is the tour for you!
Learned so much! I've been to Rome close to 10 times, took a class on the history of the city, spent a summer there, and I still heard things I had never heard before. Very entertaining.
It was a great experience to be guided by Ivana, who has plenty of spooky stories to tell about Rome. She walked us through various streets that we would not have seen as tourists and gave us nice recommendations for dinner. Thank you for the tour !

This is an interesting tour to do, due to the combination of the crypt and the stories Julia told during the tour of the city. You learn to know Rome from a very different, darker side. Julia tells these stories with great enthusiasm.
