Colosseum, Roman Forum And Palatine Hill- Private Tour

A perfect private tour. We got in early to Rome, prior to a cruise, and wanted a half day tour. Denis was the perfect guide, I highly recommend.

Our tour guide was Serena C. She was the best guide one can ask for. We went on 9/21/26. Serena made the tour feel like we are family coming to Rome for the first time. It was so enjoyable and she was welcoming and wonderful. She provided a fabulous experience for my wife and I.

We had an excellent tour provided by the team at Kai travel. Communication with their point of contact, Ruth, was exceptional. Serena, our tour guide, was superb and really knowledgeable. We learned so much from the tour and had a super fun time.

Our tour with Serena was incredible! We started at the Flavian Amphitheater aka the Colosseum. She gave us a wonderful history of the function and purpose of this archeological structure. Serena highlighted all the aspects of this wonder to help us gain a better understanding of the architecture and its labyrinth of where the gladiators competed. The Forum and Palatine were just as amazing minus the heat, but well worth the tour! There is so much history and meaning behind and within (literally) every structure. The views whether from above or on the ground floor were very impressive. My family and I truly enjoyed our time with her because she did not rush us and allowed us to take in the visits from on site to the next with plenty of time complete our experience. Her visuals were an added bonus while she explained the stories and chain events that led to symbolism of these fascinating landmarks.

Denis is phenomenal! Very knowledgable, even on obscure details and very theoretical questions. He was very patient and accommodating. Honestly, I dont know if he has any competition at all. It was THAT good.

Silvia was very knowledgeable and engaging! It was hot and she made sure to find shady spots to tell us about a mix of history! We saw walked through the ruins at a comfortable pace - we were able to stop to take pictures and she even captured several family shots of us all together. Our favorite part of the tour was the colluseum - she let us enjoy at our own pace while sharing history and also telling us about the restoration, etc. We enjoyed the whole tour with our boys (10 & 12).

The tour was extremely extensive and informative. We got to see so much and learned even more. Especially the wonderful access we had to the Coliseum. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made sure to get us where we need to go efficiently

Jada was an excellent tour guide. She explained the history and architecture of the Colosseum and surrounding sites in great detail and with the mastery of an art history professor. We learned so much about ancient Rome and its relevance to contemporary times.

Denis was simply fantastic on our 3.5 hour tour of Rome's Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, and the Coliseum. He was incredibly patient with our family, and he highlighted numerous aspects of the tour and innumerable facts that we would have otherwise missed. Our guide Denis was extraordinary!! Very knowledgeable and well prepared with an iPad to give us a visual of the ruins he was pointing out. He was extremely sensitive to the brutal heat Rome was experiencing and made sure our group was handling it ok. His knowledge was only surpassed by his friendliness! Offering many times to take our picture as we were a group of 3!! He was superb in every aspect!!

Our tour guide, Denis, was just fabulous - so knowledgeable and patient, taking everything at our pace and answering all our questions. He made the tour so interesting, fun and informative, adding in little bits of intrigue along the way! Incredibly informative and social guide. Definitely go early and start in Palatine Hill first as it’s all outside. Do Coliseum after.

By far one of the best experiences I have had on a tour before and I have been on many. Silvia was such a patient and kindhearted person she was super patient with my kids who were nothing short of a huge distraction but she made it the best she could for us. Highly highly recommend this tour so informative and she took us back in time painting a beautiful historical landscape as we journeyed through the Roman forum and the colosseum.

Denis was the best guide we have ever had, cannot recommend him enough. Apart from being knowledgeable, he is an excellent storyteller. We had so many questions for him and not only he was very patient but he did a great job controlling the tour and keeping everything very structured despite all the rabbit holes we went into. 10/10

The tour was amazing. Our guide Alberto is the best guide we have ever had. His knowledge of Roman history and culture was incredible. His passion for sharing his knowledge is undeniable! He had in-depth answers to all of our questions ( we had a lot!) and he also had a great sense of humor. Make sure you ask for Alberto if you book this tour!!

We had a small 4 person private tour with Denis P. My wife and I had been there before but the other couple we were with had not. We were very fortunate that we had Denis As our tour guide. The weather was horrible and you would think this might cut it short or leave out something. Nope. Not with Denis. He was very courteous and professional. This was well worth the money and I would do it again. He was a ton of knowledge and a right laugh. Thank you Denis. You made our trip a memory we will never forget.

We did a small group (7 people) tour of the Coliseum and Roman Forum and it was worth every penny. It was fantastic and our tour guide Francesca was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and enthusiastic. She came with a binder full of pictures that she used as reference when she was explaining something. This was very helpful and not something all the tour guides did. During the tour we quickly realized that we had lucked out and gotten the best guide. If you do a tour with Together in Rome , ask for Francesca and you won’t be disappointed.

We absolutely loved our tour with Together In Rome. I would 100 percent recommend this tour for anyone looking to visit the Coliseum and the Roman Forum. First of all, you're able to skip all of the lines -- we went in July and the line outside to even get into either of these locations looked over an hour long -- in the heat. Secondly, our guide Francesca was super knowledgable, friendly, and I learned so much on the tour -- we had a small group tour of eight which was a nice number. It was great to get the context of the history of where we were visiting and I felt like she really brought everything alive. There aren't tons of things you can read in either location; and when there is some historical background reading on a sign or something it's always very crowded -- so it was worth the money to have your own guide. Plus, Francesca was extremely enthusiastic, open to questions, and really knew her stuff. 100 percent take this tour.

My fiancé and I had an amazing tour with Alessandro (Alex)- we could tell is just one second that he was exactly the best tour guide in Rome! He was knowledgable and entertaining, and he was very patient with some of the other members of our tour group who needed extra time. He also captured our absolute favorite photo from the trip at the top of the Palatine with the whole city in view. We would definitely recommend this experience.

Rachelle was one of the nicest tour guides on our trip to Italy. She was very informative and took the time to explain everything. This is a great tour company in Rome and would definitely recommend this tour and others when visiting for the first time.
