The meeting point was easy to find and the staff were very helpful. Ticket collection was quick and everything was well organized. The audio guide was also very useful.

Simple way to access Collisseum when all normal access tickets are sold out. Tickets sent direct to me allowing us to skip the long queues
Been in Rome on the last weekend tried to book the visit for the 31 cause i was leaving on the 1st. The website changed for the 3rd nov. Accepted the payment i tried to explained and nobody could help. I have proofs of my flight tickets and even with that im still trying to have my money back. SCAM!! Avoid this site. There’s no support. Just a way to take money from you.
The service made visiting the Colosseum much easier. We didn't have to spend time figuring out where to collect the tickets. The audio guide was helpful too.
Friendly staff and a very simple process. We were shown exactly where to go and received our tickets quickly. Everything was handled professionally.
Audio guide on phone did not work very well. But seeing these places is worth it. Recommend finding a different audio guide for this experience.
Very convenient, all electronic so no need to find anyone at a certain location, highly recommend for ease of use.
The directions to get into the Colosseum were terrible. Also could not download the audio file for the self guided tour. I do not recommend this tour.
We didn’t get to meet our guide. There were many tours at the same meeting place and we couldn’t find ours. Other tour guides tried to help us. I called the number and the chap on the other end was extremely helpful and so we used our tickets but without the audio guide.
We couldn’t locate the place. We asked a bunch of people and got all different sorts of directions. We never attended the excursion.
One of the tickets we got was issued to the wrong person. The guide could not do anything about it and requested that we try to dodge the ID check.
It’s useless to give any review. I’ll never recommend this tour with you to any of my friends. Not at all helpful.
Tickets were easy to order and receive. Timed entrance made things so simple. Would definitely use Viator again for other tours
Really enjoyed the information. Would have liked a more detailed map that showed if the information points were on the 1st or 2nd level.
Entry was very easy - EVERYONE needs ID however. Colosseum itself was horrendously busy , difficult to get to see round the balconies etc. probably wouldn’t go again at this time of year.
We found a lot of these tours give you a meeting place address and it’s not the actual place. We ended up getting the tickets sent to us through email and the app. Still not sure if there was an audio guide or how to access it. Ticket just basically got us in and you do need identification at the entrance. They will take a picture of your passport or license if you don’t have it physically on you
Everything was organized very well and smooth. Really good communication with Viator. Nice ticket and guide book.
mixed signals as to rally point.audio app difficult to use. this tour needs a personal guide like we had at the Vatican.
We were at our location that was on our paper which was quite aways from the actual entry point. They told us where to go which was very hard to locate and when we got to the meeting point we still had 15 minutes and the person we were there to meet was no where to be found. Even another person who does the same kind of job read the directions and we all determined there was no one there to meet us with tickets. We stayed until 2 minutes till 4pm which was our entry time and they would not let us in. Needless to say we are very upset and are requesting a full refund. We and others did everything in our power to locate your delivery person.
The colosseum was amazing from a historical viewpoint and tour perspective. Unfortunately the rain poured after our visit to the colosseum and awe visit both the forum and the hill in that. Well worth the price! Especially if it doesn’t rain!
The audio was very good and very comprehensive. The information and meeting point were clear and everything went very smoothly. Good value for money and a definite must if you’re visiting Rome.
Purchases audio guide but it wouldn’t work
We originally booked onto the guided tour but unfortunately the time slot was adjusted a week before and therefore we couldn’t attend anymore. As it was only a week before we travelled there was limited options left so we had to go with the audio guide tour. It’s done using an app on your phone and you have to find the correct number to play the correct part which was a bit tricky to do on your own. I wish we could have done the guided tour as I think it would have been so much better to have been told about everything that happened by a real person. I think it wasn’t as good as it could have been just having the pre recorded audio guide. We had tickets to the arena too but honestly it wasn’t necessary as I think the view from the upper floor was just as good if not better than the arena. Definitely worth a visit though. Also the Roman forum is amazing. We didn’t realize quite how much there was to see and how big it all was. We went 1.5 hours before our colosseum timed entry but didn’t have nearly enough time, easily could have spent 3 hours there casually walking and taking it all in. That was just as impressive in my opinion.
Instructions were lacking on meeting the tour rep as I already had the tickets! Then entry to the colosseum requires photo I.D. Again not explained. But once we finally got in mind was blown!!!
My ticket said there wasn't a guide, which was fine. I was sent an audio file as a guide (by Rick Steves) which i thankfully listened to on ny way bc it didn't work in the site. Any time I opened my camera, it reset the audio file. There was also a booklet but that also wasn't the easiest to follow. If i did the tour again, I would get an actual tour guide just to be able to dig deeper. But I still enjoyed myself so it wasn't a total loss.
There were six of us, but we decided to split up and meet later as it was easier. We bought the tickets in advance because the actual Colosseum booking site is a nightmare and there were never 6 tickets available. The ticket included the Colosseum, Palatine Hill & Forum. We were told we had to meet someone at the top of the metro station; she simply told us to go over to the entrance tent and join the pre-booked queue (what a waste of time having to meet someone to state the obvious!) Anyway, the tickets said 3 pm on them, but apparently that's the time you join the queue in order to go in for the 3.15 pm slot. The tickets were for a pre-booked visit to the Colosseum and then are valid for 24 hours for the Palatine Hill and Forum. The Colosseum is an amazing building; there is no doubt about that, and entrance was smooth and quick, but it was rammed, unpleasantly so. After we left, we went to the Palatine Hill, which was brilliant; we wish that we had been told that we needed at least 3 - 4 hours to see it all plus the Forum. However, we were not, and so we decided that as we had a restaurant booked that evening, once we had seen most of the Palatine Hill we would leave and return the following morning to see the Forum; however, after getting to the front of the queue we were told that the ticket was for one entry only and we couldn't go in. Be warned, I never saw this on the ticket, but I agree it does make sense. Our son & his partner hadn't used their tickets, so we asked if we could use them and were told no as the tickets are allocated by name. If we hadn't asked and simply used them, we would have been allowed in; that's what honesty does for you. This is still a brilliant set of sites to visit, but you need to know more facts before going so that you don't slip up as we did.
We had a really bad experience. We we have been at the meeting point close to the colosseum in time. The guy from the company was delayed 15 minutes. He finally airdropped the tickets and we rushed to the entrance but were refused the entry. Afterwards we realized that the tickets were valid for entrance at 9.15. however, we received them at 9.45. we had to wait another 1,5 hours and buy new tickets to enter the colosseum. Our whole day was spoiled. Christina
Our ticket cost 71 euro (for 2 people) and was well over priced in my view, even though it covered the ancient sites like Palentine Hill and the Colosseum. If you buy a ticket on the day for the Colosseum, it is about 18 euro. We still had to queue even with a pre-booked ticket and the ticket only covers the lower level and second floor of the Colosseum. The tour was an 'audio tour'. Don't be fooled by this. What it means is you have to download the audio and listen to it via your mobile phone. And as we only took one phone with us that day, it was not that helpful. The meeting point we went to was signed 'Roma Tours'. We met a young man who rushed though where we need to go and how to down load the audio and access the site map - which was partly QR codes and partly PDF documents. So you are not in a group, you don't have supplied audio headphones, or with a guide of any sort. I am sure all this is explained in the paperwork, but I'd look for other options for these tours - but book early it is busy!
Gave full refund when requested
Very easy process and really great experience. Tickets were texted right to us and the audio guide was not too complicated to use. Lines were short if you get there early and the tip to use the side entrance for the Forum was great!
This was great! We went as a family of three and received the link with the tickets the day before. It also came with a PDF of info on the sites and suggestions on where to enter.
Once we found our agent outside the cafe, it was easy and enjoyable.
Nothing special about the experience- I would just buy the tickets from the website In advance. The app was worthless, didn’t work at all. The Colosseum in itself is amazing but without the guide it was suboptimal experience.
Awful. Tickets never were given tru this app. We had to make the line with purchase receipts and was not allow only tickets scan .
They changed my booked time after i explicitly said i could not change the time and that i booked the selected time for a reason. Almost missed out on the experience if not for the actual colosseum workers kindness
We had booked a guided tour with underground access. This was cancelled a week before departure for Italy without explanation. We were unstoppable book any other guides tours. The audio was mediocre.
The queue moved quickly. We had timed entry tickets. The complex is massive and should plan a couple hours to do the coliseum and the Roman forum, etc.
They canceled our reservation 2 hours before for the Vatican entrance with no explanation I will not recommended to use this website if you want to make sure your reservation is 100%
As a traveler from Canada, I was really looking forward to this experience, but we encountered several issues. First, we had a lot of trouble finding the starting point as it is not clear at all and the "Viator" ticket they gave us to be added to the apple wallet was never even used. Additionally, the "audio tour" was advertised as being two and a half hours long, but we showed up to find out it was a free app we could have downloaded ourselves and the part about the Colosseum itself was only about TWO minutes of audio. This was extremely disappointing, especially since a different free app we used gave much more detailed information about the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, making it hard to justify paying extra for the Colosseum portion. To add to the disappointment, we paid extra for the access to go under the floor and see the ancient maze of tunnels, trap doors, and animal cages where gladiators and wild beasts prepared for the games, but despite showing our ticket, the staff refused to let us in, and we missed out on that entire section. This was a major letdown as that was one of the highlights we were most excited about. This was a significant disappointment in what could have been a highlight of our trip. I would appreciate a prompt response and a resolution to these issues.
“Find Rome Tours” was signposted but there was no one there to meet us as described at our entrance time. The lady operating another tour company beside us then said she was also part of Find Rome tours, which was confusing as she was standing beside another tour companies sign and also signing them in. Due to all this we then didnt gain admission to colosseum until 30mins after our start time. There was no QR code or audio app offered and we were unable to find on app store. Would not recommend.
You meet “the company” on a curb across from the colosseum. The guy that helped process our tickets was very rude. Click on your email, go down, we sent it yesterday, open, take a picture of your tickets, go to this app, download it, etc. Very hectic and rude. The colosseum app worked fine for the audio tour, Roman Forum app never did work so we were completely in the dark roaming around. Terrible, terrible. Very shady business.
We got our tickets on time. It has all the detailed information. There was no problem in following the instructions
Bought from this site because the main site was sold out. The ticket is the same 24h ticket that you would get at the colosseo website. They sent the tickets to me the day prior on the app so no need to go to the meeting point. I appreciated not having to have to go find them.
This is an overpriced ticket compared to the ticket that you can buy online. Just to give you instructions how to enter and how the tour is does not provide any value. I think this is a reseller of tickets rather than a tour company paying 6 times the price of the normal ticket for nothing is an absolute abuse. The caótica is worth the visit for sure.
I appreciated the clear instructions on getting the app, downloading the guide, and getting to the correct entrance. There was some interesting information in the audio guide, but the app kept crashing as I was listening and even just reading it. In the end we only used it for half the tour.
Audio guide app wasn’t great, so would have been as well just paying lower price for entry, or booking a tour with an actual guide which I think would have made it a better experience
It was great. The company sent me the tickets my WhatsApp the night before and had lots of very useful instructions. The official colosseum audio guide app is terrible and basically doesn’t work so I wouldn’t bother - instead they also send you a link to the Rick Steve’s guide which is actually great and does work reliably! I’d still fully recommend this ticket though
The audio guide isn’t great, I ended up switching to a Rick Steve’s audio guide and liked that much better. But the tickets worked great, easy way to get into colosseum and Roman forum and go at your own pace
The colosseum was very informative, did use the app, but wished that I had done a guided tour, Palatine Hill was also interesting but lots of steps and hills.
We were immediately assisted and directed to the entrance queue, it was busy and the Colusseum staff were quick and helpful.
