What a fabulous experience! As someone with celiac disease who also works in the travel industry, I especially appreciated being able to enjoy authentic Italian food with confidence. Everything was delicious, and the fascinating stories and history woven throughout the tour were an added bonus. A wonderful way to experience Italy, and one I would highly recommend!

Great experience! My wife is celiac so we took this tour and it was everything and more she could have asked for! Duné did a fantastic job and I highly recommend her as the tour guide!
All good, amazing pizza and gelato and we also liked the overall tour, where we visited less famous attractions and buildings but still wonderful ones! thanks to our guide Rebecca
Maurizio was a fantastic guide! It was a great mix of history and sights between stops for delicious, gluten free food. Definitely a great option, especially if you want to try some great Italian food that’s safe for celiacs while you’re here. Thank you Maurizio!
Wow! What a great way to start our trip in Rome! This was a mother/daughter trip. Our tour guide, Maurizio, was excellent. This was our first time in Rome and not only did we eat amazing celiac safe food, but we also learned so much about Rome and its history. I’ve been on many tours in many countries and this was one of my absolute favorites! Well worth it! Thank you so much!
We had our tour with Dune, who was absolutely wonderful! It was just our group on the tour so it felt very personal, which was lovely. Dune was excellent at providing history about the city and the food we ate, as well as answering our questions about good gluten free food spots in Italy. We had so much fun and would love to go on another tour in the future.
Very pleasant guide. Gave a lot of onteresting information about gluten free food. And also about the history of the area we walked in. We spent a very pleasant afternoon. Will absolutely reccomend.
This walking food tour was my introduction to Italy, as I arrived a day early before my cruise, and it did not disappoint. As someone who eats strictly gluten-free but loves food and culture, I was thrilled to find a tour where I could fully participate without worrying about the consequences. Coming to Italy, I honestly expected to miss out on many of the country's culinary experiences, but this tour completely exceeded my expectations. It offered so much more than just great food. Rebekah was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable enough to explain the rich history behind each neighborhood, monument, and stop along the way, while presenting it in a way that was engaging, relatable, and never overwhelming. She was informative, personable, resourceful, and exactly the kind of guide I hoped to have on my first day in Italy. I left not only well-fed, but with recipes, local recommendations, and plenty of ideas for where to eat during the rest of my stay. I only wish I had another day or two to continue exploring Rome. Even if you're traveling with someone who isn't gluten-free, they would absolutely enjoy and benefit from this tour. I would happily do it again.
Maurizio was a wonderful guide and provided lots of interesting historical context for all of the areas we visited along with treating me to delicious gluten free food. It was so nice to eat delicious food and to know that it was safe. You are providing an amazing tour! Thank you for a wonderful Rome gluten free food tour!
Just did a gluten-free walking tour and it was fantastic. Our guide, Maurizio, was super friendly, really informative, and shared loads of interesting history about Rome and Italy along the way. Every food stop was safe, delicious, and felt really thoughtfully chosen. We’ve never done anything like this before, but it was a brilliant way to explore the city and eat confidently.
Really enjoyed this tour as a family with 13 year old. The food was delicious and our guide Maurizio was awesome - so knowledgeable and friendly. Come hungry you get a lot of food. We did it later in afternoon and it was replaced our dinner. Food was all celiac approved. Great way to explore the city and enjoy delicious gluten free food.
Guide was amazing and so was the food!
Amazing tour! Was lovely to try the gluten free places and see more of Rome on the walk. Our tour guide Rebekah was amazing, very friendly and informative. Highly recommend to anyone who is gluten free or coeliac. Thank you!
This was a great way to learn about the Gluten Free food scene in Rome. Maurizio, our guide, was informative, funny and helpful, the perfect companion for a tour of Rome’s eateries. If you are a coeliac coming to Rome, book this tour. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and devoured some great food.
This was the best GF food tour with a walking history tour thrown in on the side! Alessia was so friendly and engaging on what ended up being a private tour for my friend and I! She told us what to look for when choosing GF places to eat and how to know they were safe. She made sure we each were enjoying our food along the way! If you don’t know which pizza to go with on the tour- go with the sausage and broccoli- sounds odd, but it was sooooo good!!
Anastasia was absolutely amazing. She was personable and very knowledgeable. One of the best tours I have ever taken. Highly recommend!
I bought this gluten free food tour as a gift for my husband. Our tour was with Sara, who was great. Very knowledgeable. The food we ate was so good that we have been back to several restaurants since our tour. I would definitely recommend.
I got to try a lot of gluten free treats, both savory and sweet. My favorite was the pizza by the slice wrapped up for walking! The guide was great, with just the right amount of historical context in between stops. All of the food places were either dedicated gluten free or certified safe by the Italian Celiac Association. I was the only one on this tour (traveling alone in low season) and I really appreciated that they didn’t cancel on me for low enrollment. Overall I left full and happy!
Our deepest gratitude to Alessia and to our guide Sara for offering such a wonderful tour! It was so well organised, with clear instructions on how to find our guide. And luckily for us, we were the only people on the tour on this rainy Roman day, so we had Sara all to ourselves! We ate foods we had never tried before, and I was overjoyed to see my Coeliac son sampling everything offered. He can be quite unsure about trying new things (especially in restaurants), but not today. Sara instilled a sense of calm and of trust, and he was so enthusiastic to try the food (which was absolutely delicious, from start to finish. Sara also provided fascinating information about the sights of Rome during our walking tour, even making time to introduce us to one of her favourite churches - the jaw-droppingly beautiful Santa Maria sopra Minerva. At every point of the tour today, Sara made time to answer all our questions, about both the gluten free food we were eating, and Roman history and life in general. She is a truly lovely human being, and I’m so glad we met her. Sincerely once again, thank you. I strongly recommend this tour to anyone with a gluten intolerance or Coeliac Disease, and their families ❤️❤️
Anastasia was an amazing tour guide. She gave us lots of useful information, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend
We had a great experience! As a person with celiac it is often difficult to find safe options and I often miss out. This tour let me try some of the classic Italian dishes safely. Our tour guide was friendly and informative. Highly recommend!
A very interesting and delicious tour… We learned a lot about Rome and the best gluten-free spots… Thank you Sara so much…❤️
The gluten-free food tour in Rome was absolutely fantastic! My host Anastasia was warm, knowledgeable, and made sure I felt comfortable and well-fed. I got to sample delicious gluten-free versions of classic Italian dishes — from perfectly crispy pizza to authentic Roman specialties like supplì — all rounded off with the best gelato I’ve ever had. Along the way, we strolled past some of Rome’s most beautiful sights, with my guide sharing fun historical facts that brought the city’s past to life. A perfect mix of great food, culture, and history — I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome, gluten-free or not!
I did not expect such a complete experience. Maurizio Antonio, who accompanied us during the visit, was very nice and is truly very knowledgeable. He knew how to combine the cultural part with the fun part, making the visit very interesting. The places we tried were also great, each one better than the last! 😍 I wouldn't know what I liked most! I really highly recommend this experience if you are visiting Rome for the first time.
Pleasant and informative guide. Good information about Roman history. Visit several 100 percent gluten-free dining places.
