This tour was the highlight of our trip. Seeing Rome without the crowds was very special. Our guide Christian was amazing. I was impressed by how much Roman history he knew. He went out of his way to show us places we would never have been able to find on our own. If you only have time for one tour this is the one to take.

I have been to Rome before and I hate crowds, which made this tour so attractive to show my children around. It was BRILLIANT! To be the only people on the Spanish steps and share the Trevi fountain with less than 20 people alone made this an absolutely incredible experience. On top of that the beautiful morning light and the unobstructed views of the sunrise across the Roman Forum were unforgettable. Worth the early alarm!

Our first morning in Rome we were picked up at our hotel and driven to several spots around Rome. We saw the sun rise and our guide Leonardo shared so much information about the city. It was a fantastic way to start our time in Rome. The city is so busy (and hot recently) and it felt very special seeing it wake up in the morning. Highly recommended!

Christian was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed all his commentary as he drove us from place to place. He answered many of our questions as well. It is a very early morning but well worth it! It has been hot and the cool of the early morning was comfortable and the bonus with light crowds and traffic were evident thoughout our morning. I would definitely recommend this tour, even if you are not morning people, because we are not!

Amazing time and we beat all the crowds by getting up early and visiting the most popular spots early. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Our Tour guide was fabulous! I’m not a morning person but he was punctual, welcomed us in a toasty clean transport. He was born & still lives in Rome…sharing so many facts about historical landmarks, funny, paid for our espresso & pastries at the cafe he enjoys each morning. Unbelievable sunrise tour of Rome on NYE. Our driver Christian was amazing and so knowledgeable on the history of Rome! Super comfortable Mercedes van that is definitely the way to go vs other companies and their golf carts. Surreal experience getting to see Rome with no other tourists around!! Highly recommend!

Our Amazing Sunrise Tour of Rome with Christian was absolutely amazing!!! This is THE best way to see Rome, when it’s cooler, no crowds and great access to areas that will soon be packed. Christian was a fantastic guide and made the tour interesting for the two teens in the family. They both thought (and we agree) that this tour was the best activity we did in Rome. Two quotes from the kids “this is the way to learn history” and “if I lived in Rome, Christian would probably be my best friend” LOL. Christian even took us to Garibaldi monument and had great binoculars for us to reviews the sights we saw from a bird’s eye view. He tailored to tour to our requests and scheduled activities and even stopped for a quick cappuccino break. I highly recommend Christian and Miles & Miles for your tours.

Our tour was through Miles&Miles Tour Company! This was the highlight of our trip! Marco was absolutely amazing! We saw and got pictures of all the famous landmarks with zero people in them. I would highly recommend to do this tour if you’re a photographer; even if you’re not a photographer! It’s early, but worth every single penny. We stopped at places and got history of those places along the way. I wouldn’t even think twice about doing this tour again. I would just book it! You will not regret it.

Wow - one of the highlights of our trip. The sunrise tour of Rome with Francesco was incredible. Being able to explore Rome and see the major sites without ANY crowds and often without any people was incredible. Trevi fountain, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Spanish Steps, St Peters Square and much more - just breathtaking. Francesco is a class act - super professional, knowledgeable, super welcoming and an all around great guide and person. We learned so much and greatly appreciate such a personalized experience. We were also lucky enough to have Francesco the day before to take us from Sorrento to Rome with a stop in Pompeii - what another amazing experience. We can’t thank Francesco enough- we are very grateful for these experiences that we will never forget. We highly recommend him and Miles and Miles. Book now!

Francesco and Christian made our holiday. To be able to get around to all the places of interest without the crowds or traffic was amazing. The history tour was an added bonus. Could not rate these guys any higher 10/10

The most amazing driver/guide with great tips. Was there before time and we ended with a scrumptious breakfast.

So not a morning person, but worth it to see the city all lit up before the crowds begin and traffic get absurd! We got to see more in 3 hours than most people get to see in a day or more! We returned to the Coliseum later and counted our blessings that we had done this tour! And to have a guide that could educate us on the history was such a bonus!!!

Our driver arrived early, was extremely knowledgeable and stopped at so many sites! We had an amazing experience and felt it was the best way to see all the sites without them being packed full of tourists. So peaceful and breathtaking.

A small group of 4 Kiwis and 2 Americans picked up off cruise ship for a1 day full on tour highlights of Rome .Guide and driver Roberto Migilo was excellent at negotiating our way in his super comfortable vehicle around Rome .The beat the line tour of Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel with one of his colleagues was eye opening,great commentary and very efficiently done .Now I had been to Rome 3 times before on our own but this day I saw and experienced as much as I had in a week previously . Full marks to Roberto and his company…from a generally cynical Kiwi no less

We can't say enough good things about our experience with Francesco on our sunrise tour of Rome. When I go on a tour through an operator, I make sure to keep my expectations reasonably low. It can't be as good as the marketing text says it is. But this tour, as the date of our trip drew nearer we got more and more excited. We didn't regret it. Our guide Francesco picked us up at our hotel at 5am on the dot, and he was right: the streets were nearly empty. He invited us to hop out of the van whenever we liked to take a closer look at where we were or to photograph the sights. He took us to the most popular attractions first, before any crowds arrived. There was one other couple at Trevi Fountain (!!!), I was alone on the Spanish Steps (!!!), the Piazza Venezia had no traffic (!!!), and there was no sign of people or moving cars at the Colosseum as the sun rose (!!!). It wasn't until we hit the empty Piazza del Popolo that finally the early birds started to appear. By the time we hit the Vatican, it was 8am, and the line had started forming to get inside. But St. Peter's Square was otherwise almost empty. Francesco is a native Roman, had lived there all his life, and was a history expert. Along the way he had a tremendous amount of history to share, both the kinds of things you expect and some popular culture things you might not. And as a native, he knew the city like the back of his hand: he navigated the maze of small streets and alleys unerringly. After our tour ended at the Vatican, he took us nearby to the neighborhood he grew up in as a child, and took us for cappuccinos and pastries at a cafe where he hung out as a kid. This tour was easily one of the top highlights of our stay in Italy. Having done it once, we would sign up again anyway the next time we're in Rome

This tour was definitely worth the early rise! It gave us the opportunity to see Rome in its authentic beauty, without all the crowds and busyness. There is something so magical about seeing Rome in this state. Daniele, our driver and tour guide, picked us up on time at our hotel. He shared his knowledge and the history of Rome as he drove us through the city. Some of the places he took us was not your typical tourist location, but the beauty of what we saw left us mesmerized! Daniele answered every question we had and just was an awesome tour guide! After he dropped us back off at our hotel, we realized we left a jacket in the van. I reached out to Miles and Miles and explain the situation. Daniele reached out to me directly to find out where we were going to be that day. He was able to leave the jacket at a souvenir shop very close to the St. Peter’s for us to pick it up. We truly appreciated this level of service. They went out of their way to make sure our day wasn’t truly disrupted trying to get the jacket back. Miles and Miles truly exceeded our expectations! We also booked them for transfers from our hotel to Civitavecchia and from Civitavecchia to our hotel. Everything ran very smoothly. We highly recommend Miles and Miles! We look forward to doing more tours with them in the future.

Miles & Miles did an amazing job of handling all of our touring needs for a group of 16 people. I utilized their services on a variety of touring and shuttling trips and all were flawless! This was an incredible tour. Marco was absolutely amazing and the sites we saw were both beautiful and uninhabited. Very fun, engaging, and interesting. The only disappointing thing was the trash piles and litter around Rome, but if you know that going in, you won’t be as bothered.

My mother, my sister and I visited Rome in April. Because of some mobility issues, we "splurged" on the Miles & Miles Sunrise Tour as a way to get oriented on our first morning in the city. We couldn't have been more pleased! We definitely got great value for our money. Our warm and knowledgeable guide Luca gave us a great overview, provided a solid grounding in history, and showed us many of the most popular sights in the city -- and we were the only ones there! What a great way to get terrific photos -- without 100 strangers in the view. But the highlight was seeing the sun coming up over the city. Breathtaking! We loved our experience so much that we booked another tour later in our trip. This time, we did a half-day customized tour. This time company founder Roberto was our guide. His passion for the history of his city and his country were abundantly evident, and his love of sharing that knowledge was wonderful to experience. He showed and taught us about hidden treasures tucked away in corners of the city. We saw so many things we would have missed otherwise -- some because they would have been hard to get to, but others we wouldn't even have known about. We especially appreciated the time and attention Robert gave to our mom, and the consideration he gave to the abilities and limitations of our group. I have already recommended this company to friends traveling to Italy, and will continue to do so. When I go back to Italy, I will definitely be calling them again!
