We had a wonderful time and our guide in Pompeii was amazing We had to adjust our tour due to a rock slide and missed Positano The rain made it difficult in Amalfi which is no fault of the company Our driver was truly amazing A great day out

It was a great experience, then trip to Pompeii and then to positano on the amalfi coast was absolutely stunning. The ride home is long but that is the only downfall. Once you wrap your mind around that it is definitely a great tour and would recommend to others.

The Viator guide was very personable and helpful. Could have used some more facts about the towns and countryside as we traveled for hours. We were 3 different couples and never got introduced to each other. A bit awkward. The Pompei guide talked way too fast and rushed us the whole time. A very uninspired tour. He spent more time trying to be funny than to tell us about life in Pompei. After seeing Positano I would rather head back to Rome than go down the coastline and get home close to 8:00 at night.

Great experience, drivers and guides were wonderful. The pompei guide was the best I’ve had. Very helpful to hsve our own guide who could provide details and answer questions. Overalll a great fun day.

This was a great tour. Our guide was so sweet and chose a great restaurant for lunch for us. The tour guide in Pompeii was knowledgeable and gave a great tour. The driver was skilled and drove the coast with ease!

The whole experience was amazing from beginning to end. My group did the private experience. They were quick to respond to questions about the trip. Sent over all information needed prior to pickup. They were very personable, on-time, and able to make necessary changes for us as needed. Juliana was the best guide we could ask for. Our tour in pompeii was just my group and it was amazing. He was able to answer questions and had fun with us, while learning about Pompeii history. Highly suggest this tour.

When we returned from Pompei and reviewed the itinerary, we discovered there we missed the amphitheatre, which we were looking forward to seeing. We did not get a chance to go in the gift shop. This tour started late in Pompei for various reasons. Our tour guide in Pompei was not fluent enough in English and tended to make up words. Our tour guide, Jazz had many chances to discuss the history of Pompei and the history of the areas on the drive there but failed to do so. We felt like Jazz was dis-engaged most of the time. The dedicated driver was amazing. Overall, the experience was awesome.

It was very hot! Italy’s heatwave 🥵 The AC in the van made it very comfortable. Jazzy was a very good snd informed guide. He was polite, kind and very friendly. His knowledge and experience made our tour very enjoyable. ❤️

My fiancé and I traveled with Ana, our tour guide, and Luigi, our driver, along with one other couple from Rome to Pompeii and Positano. They coordinated everything and picked us up from our hotel. It was an amazing day seeing the Italian country side, the ruins of Pompeii, and the incredible views in the Amalfi Coast. I would 100% recommend this tour for an unforgettable day.

We had a wonderful time. It is a long trip from Rome but if you like exploring as we do on a short time frame this was the most special of tours. We travelled first to Pompei where we were attended by our own guide (Romolo-if you can ask for him specifically) he was very knowledgeable of the site and he mentioned his grandfather was part of the historical excavations. This was so interesting that we want to learn more…. The next trip was to the Amalfi coast with awesome views. Our driver (Jordono) navigated the area with expertise and our personal guide in the van (Juliana) was most gracious and offered personal guidance and provided commentary on the entire journey. We especially like the town of Positano which was the highlighted stop. However we were able to drive through the entire Amalfi coast with breathtaking views of the cliffs, mountains and seas This was the best tour of our vacation to Europe this season. We highly recommend the small group experience-while at the outset it may seem expensive- it was worth every penny-all admission fees were included as well. Thank you Welcome Italy. You have excellent guides and we really appreciated Juliana, Jordono and Romolo.

The Pompeii tour was absolutely wonderful (we had a separate guide for that and he was the BEST and provided a great tour). Nariman also made us lunch reservations in Positano so we did not have to worry about it when we got there. Fabio was a fantastic driver and got us everywhere safely - the roads in the Amalfi Coast are no joke! We are so grateful for the incredible experience we had.

We had a great experience on this trip. It was incredible to see Pompeii firsthand…so much history! Of course, Positano and the Amalfi Coast were spectacular! Our tour leader, Nariman “Superman” was the best! He is humorous and knowledgeable. We felt that he took great care of us. He was also patient. Our driver, Fabio also did a fabulous job especially on the winding roads of Positano and the Amalfi coast. The roads appear treacherous; however, we felt safe. He was very helpful assisting participants with getting in and out of the van. It was also nice to be picked up directly at our hotel. The small group of three couples made the trip so much more enjoyable. Great day!

The trip to Pompeii was extraordinary. This was a good highlight because it would take 2-3 days to explore the entire city. What an incredible find. Nariman and Fabio were fabulous. Nariman was very energetic and happy while educating us throughout the day from Rome to Pompeii to the Amalfi Coast. He made a long day 13 hours, very fun. He gave a great recommendation for lunch that we all enjoyed. Fabio was a very skilled driver. He shared candy with us on the return trip. The S curves along the Amalfi coast and the drivers are no joke. He did an excellent job. I would definitely book with them again.

World Tour Leaders Rosy and Remy were amazing! Rosy was a great tour guide and very helpful! Remi did a great job driving the van safely up and down the mountains and through the Amalfi coast! They had cold water which also was very generous!

This was an incredible private tour of Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast! First class service the entire day. Doha our guide was friendly, helpful and sweet. Our driver was professional and in control. A new comfortable AC van picked us up from our hotel and drove us to all of the sights. Private tour of Pompeii, photo stops along the Amalfi coast and they even made reservations for us at a beachside restaurant in Positano! The town of Positano was picturesque despite the hordes of tourists. This tour made our visit there easy. It would have been a stressful visit if we tried to go on our own with the narrow streets, minimal parking and trying to navigate the area. It was a long day but if you only have a limited amount of time, this was the perfect way to visit Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast!

I booked this tour with my mom and sister because we only had a few days in Rome and we all wanted to try and make it to Pompeii. It ended up exceeding all expectations!! Our guide, Ana, was lovely and so friendly. When we got to Positano in the afternoon she helped us make lunch reservations at a great restaurant right on the beach overlooking the cliffs. She also recommended a shop we could stop in to do a limoncello tasting. And we still had plenty of time to wander the shops and streets. And of course, Pompeii! It was even more incredible than we imagined. Our guide through the ruins, Francisco, was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable of the site. He pointed out spots that we never would have found on our own with just a map. This was a long day but the sites were excellent and Ana was great guide. The pacing of the day was very well organized. Overall, it was well worth it and I'd recommend to anyone who is in Rome but doesn't have the time to go spend several days on the Amalfi.

It was great to have a smaller van just for the four of us that really puts a lot more comfortable than a bus tour would’ve been in. Our God was very knowledgeable and the driver was safe and got us to on time. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the views that we saw from Malfi house and Pompeii.

We absolutely loved our family trip to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast! Nariman was a fantastic tour guide — he communicated everything clearly, kept us informed on times, and was very accommodating to our family’s needs. He even made an impromptu stop when the kids got hungry, entertained my youngest by making her the 'queen for the day' and went above and beyond to help with translations along the way. Paolo, our Pompeii guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and made my kids feel so welcome and included throughout the tour. Pompeii itself was absolutely amazing! Roberto (driver 3) was also very polite and courteous. The whole team was wonderful, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast!

Loved the tour. Private van is the way to go! We had 6 of us - they were kind enough to alter the start time slightly so we could quickly have some breakfast. Antoinetta was an excellent guide and Peter was the best Italian driver we came across!! So much information and a safe and comfortable ride on a long day! My wife and I had a wonderful day through Pompeii and the Almafi Coast. The tour guide through Pompeii was very informative and it really helped pain the picture of what life was like in Pompeii. The Almafi coast is beautiful and our lunch stop in Positano was excellent. If you are going to this area I highly recommend a driver and guide because the roads are very challenging. Relax and enjoy the views! Our total trip time from our hotel pickup near the Pantheon in Rome to return was about 14 hours so plan accordingly.

We were picked up from our hotel .It was a small tour group of six. The Driver and tour guide Imane were brilliant. We were taken to Pompeii first and had a tour guide from there who was very knowledgeable. We were then taken to the Amalfi coast which was beautiful. We were given photo stops, toilet stops on the way and although lunch wasn't provided Imane booked a lovely restaurant overlooking the sea for us all ( she checked with us first) The view and food was wonderful. The diver certainly knows how to get around and at times it was steep and busy but felt in safe hands. Imane gave us lots of information on route and was really lovely. It's a long day 13 hours round trip but well worth it.

Our guide, Stayce, and our driver were excellent! They were kind and friendly and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The van was comfortable and roomy. They gave very clear instructions and guided us every step of the way.

On site experience and the site guide was great. 5 hours of driving between Rome and Pompei was torture. Driver and guide (not sure why 2 needed? 6 passengers in group crammed into small, hot van. Driver and guide said nothing about the history of the area, points of interest passed, or anything else. Driver good at driving. Guide read and slept through most of the trip.

Could be better. We did a full-day tour of Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast, and overall it was a memorable experience—with a few trade-offs. It’s definitely a long day with a lot of time spent traveling, so be prepared for that going in. Our trip took over 14 hrs. That said, Pompeii was excellent—walking through such an ancient city was fascinating and something we won’t forget. The Amalfi Coast was truly breathtaking. The views alone make the trip worth it, and our guide gave us a great lunch recommendation. Where the tour fell a bit short for us was the guide experience. We’ve done quite a few guided tours, and the storytelling and historical insights here didn’t feel as engaging or in-depth as we were hoping. At times, it felt more like having a chauffeur than a true tour guide. We would have loved more compelling stories, along with deeper insights into Italian culture and customs to really bring the experience to life. We also experienced some moments during the drive that felt unsafe. There were times when speeds felt too high for the road conditions (up to 90 mph) and the pull-off lane was used as a driving lane in an attempt to get us back to Rome quicker due to accidents along the highways. The driver and guide were also arguing a lot about navigation. This made the ride feel uncomfortable at times. Overall, it’s a great way to see two iconic spots in one day—just go in expecting a long itinerary and a lighter narrative experience than some other tours.

Amazing day and well worth the long day with a lot of time on the road. We were picked up around 6:45 am at our hotel in Rome and dropped off about 13 hours later. Had a quick stop for breakfast and coffee on the way to Pompei. Our entry into the Archaeological Park of Pompei was quick and easy with our guide. The two hour tour of the ruins were truly incredible. Our Pompei guide was fantastic and blended a mix of history, modern connections, and humor. He kept us moving but we did not feel rushed. Pompei could easily be a destination by itself. We continued on to Positano for lunch and some shopping. Our guide stopped at a scenic overlook above Positano where she used our phones too take photos of each couple. We were then driven along the coast to the town of Amalfi with a little more time for shopping and gelato. Amalfi and Positano are both beautiful towns built on the steep hillsides of the coast. The drive back to Rome included another stop at a scenic overlook. This time above the city of Pompei. Our guide again used her talents to photos for each couple. Our tour with Welcome Italy was very well planned. Our guide, Malak Abdo, did a great job in helping us make the most of our time. She was well prepared and kept us informed of pick up and departure times along the way. She also took some wonderful photos for us. Our driver (I apologize for not getting his name) got us through the narrow and winding roads efficiently and we always felt safe.

Our guide and driver were prompt in picking us up at our hotel. We enjoyed our trip to Pompeii. SUV was very comfortable. Guiseppe guided us to a wonderful restaurant on the beach in Positano for lunch. Had some free time to wander and shop. Recommend.

We had the best time on this tour. From pick up to drop off, we enjoyed every minute. Our guide JB, was fun and friendly. The best part of this tour is that it is small. We arrived at Pompeii early, so the crowd wasn't much of a crowd. Our tour guide was personable and incredibly knowledgeable, we saw so much and learned a lot along the way. Our trip to the coast was breathtaking, lunch by the sea, shops to explore and time to take in the beautiful area! The drive back was filled with amazing views as well. I'd recommend this excursion for adults or older teens who want to take time to go through this beautiful part of the country. Hands down, this was our favorite excursion during our time in Italy.

We enjoyed the tour - the communication with the tour operator was excellent from start to finish; pick up was on time; the driver and guide were warm and helpful; and the sites (especially Pompeii ruins and the town of Positano). The licensed guide of Pompeii ruins is very knowledgeable and we learned so much about it from him. Lunch at Positano was also delicious and we enjoyed others in our tour group. The view along Amalfi coast was spectacular. The only unfortunate part of the tour was that we were not able to go to the town Amalfi because the parking was full. It was not within the control of the tour operator and they had also warned people at Viator’s site. Still it was regrettable that we were unable to see the town of Amalfi.

Excellent! From the start it was fantastic, JB was very professional and very fun. He made sure we were always comfortable and taken care of. I do think 5 people is the max for the vehicle and we were 5 so that was perfect. Any more would have been really tight. The stops were perfect for bathroom breaks, the trip to Pompeii was great to take a small nap. Once we arrived in Pompeii our guide was outstanding. I learned so much, we got there just before the crowds and had a wonderful and knowledgeable experienced tour. We then drove to Amalfi, we appreciate JB asking if we wanted to eat together, and he made reservations at a fantastic restaurant with beautiful views. Great job JB!! THEN we went to MAIORI and that was perfect. It was worth every penny and we will recommend highly!!

The tour was amazing! Our guides were very knowledgeable. My parents have limited mobility and they did their best to accommodate them so they also had a great experience.

An amazing day! We were well looked after, with great communication in advance, from Imane and Arthur (who must be the best driver in the world!). Our tour guide at Pompeii was Carolina and she was simply brilliant - really information, whilst also friendly and made the tour fun. The mini-van was really comfortable and we had a comfort stop for breakfast before going onto Pompeii. We also had stops for photos when on the Amalfi cost, along with lunch in Positano (which Imane booked for us - a restaurant right on the seafront - beautiful) and a short stop in Amalfi. We were picked up at 6.30am and back at our hotel by 8pm, so it was a long day, but I wouldn't change any of it. The Amalfi Coast is beautiful, and a lovely contrast to the historic morning in Pompeii - so a really balanced itinerary that suits everyone. Would definitely recommend.

This day trip to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast was amazing from start to finish. Pompeii was fascinating, and Malak was incredible—so knowledgeable and engaging, she really brought the history to life. The Amalfi Coast drive was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views the whole way. John David did a great job navigating the winding roads, and we felt completely safe and comfortable. Overall, a fantastic experience and definitely a highlight of the trip. Highly recommend!
