I had a great time touring Rome. Our guide, Joseph, was very funny and engaging; he found ways to make the walking tour fun and enjoyable for everyone. He is very knowledgeable about the city and delivers information in a way that allows it to stick in the memory. Thanks again!

A fantastic way to be introduced to Rome upon arriving! The guide - Grita - definitely gave it the cherry on the cake with her friendly, inclusive manner and her humour.
Tour guide is knowledgeable and we visited a lot of tourist spot in short time.Great tour. I would love to do it again.
We cannot recommend Joseph enough! Our whole family had a day full of laughter and history because of him. You’ll be smiling every second of the tour while also learning so much about Rome. You can tell he really cares about making everyone have a great experience. Thank you Joseph!
Drita was very knowledgeable and funny guide. The areas visited were awesome. The timing was great and avoided large crowds.
We had an amazing tour of Rome with Drita ! It was full of fascinating information and took us to so many beautiful places that you simply have to see when visiting Rome. Drita was the perfect guid she answered every question we had with patience and shared the history and stories of Rome in such an engaging and enjoyable way. Her passion and knowledge made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to truly discover Rome. You definitely won’t regret it!
Probably the highlight of our trip to Rome! Drita is amazing! She is super knowledgeable and also has a great sense of humour. She made us feel deeply connected to the city. We really enjoyed our tour and definitely recommend it to those visiting!
Drita is an exceptional storyteller who brought every site to life with fascinating stories, historical insights, and local knowledge. Her passion and enthusiasm made the tour incredibly engaging from start to finish. What really stood out was how interactive she made the experience. She encouraged questions, involved everyone in the group, and kept both adults and children interested throughout the tour. Her sense of humor and friendly personality made learning fun and enjoyable. Thanks to her, the tour felt much more than just sightseeing—it was an immersive and memorable experience. We learned so much while having a great time. I highly recommend @lockyourtour to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, engaging, and fun tour guide.
Joseph was an excellent guide - having done many guided tours in many countries, he stands above most. If you’re interested in the history of Rome or just want to do the most prominent sites in a couple of hours, this is an excellent choice. I wish I could’ve spent longer with him. He is polite, informative, funny and inclusive. The 8 AM tour is the way to go - fewer large crowds, and it felt almost like a completely private tour. Would recommend over and over again.
Asked if we would change our scheduled time , said no it did not fit our schedule… they ended up doing the tour of the original time and we did not know. Asked to refund and they refused.
I visited Rome few days ago with my children 16 and 13 and Isuf’s Guide experience certainly signed our trip. The perfect guide, especially for such a special, rich, vast city as Rome. Many historic details, presented in a very entertaining way through a contest, that kept the attention of my children through the full three hours of walk. What was so special about this guide was that Isuf would make sure to introduce history, have the attention for us to have the best pictures, sense of humor and planting values all in one making this experience the highlight of our trip. If you visit Rome do not hesitate to book this guide, my advice: do it on the very first day, as you can modify the plan according to the Isuf's advice for easy access and reach of most iconic places. We also used many of his suggested restaurants and other attractions. Congratulations, keep up the excellent work!
What an amazing tour!! Covered all important places in a short amount of time. Our guide - Drita is awesome! She made sure everyone was taken care of during the trip. A++ experience!!!
We had such an amazing experience on this family tour in Rome! Traveling with two kids can sometimes be challenging, but this tour made it incredibly fun and engaging for everyone. Walking through the major sites of Rome was already special, but what really made it unforgettable were the interactive games and questions throughout the tour. They kept both the kids and the adults entertained the entire time—it never felt like a typical “history tour.” Our guide was fantastic—so friendly, energetic, and great at involving everyone. He made the stories come alive and created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere for the whole group. This is one of those experiences we’ll truly never forget. In fact, we’re already saying that next time we’re back in Rome, we’ll book it again—this time determined to win all the prizes from the quiz questions! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun, interactive way to explore Rome.
3 hour walk g tour with Joseph was excellent. Funny and informative and just really good company for the morning. We saw all the main sights and had time for photos and some insights. Highly recommended
Joseph does a wonderful job and make the tour interesting throughout the time spent walking. He engaged all of us with information and stories and gave us tips on how to save money. The last stop is the Spanish Steps. 136 of them. If you are tired don’t do them. The tour is over in 20 minutes and there are many fine cafes in the square while nothing at the top of them.
This is the best experience you can have in Rome! It shows you the real magic of this city, Isuf has the best energy, he explains everything so well and the tour is so fun this is the second time I do the tour and it is was more than amazing, it was unforgettable! It’s a must do ✨
It was a great experience three hours. Very well. Spent told us about the history learned new things even though we have been to wrong many times. He kept us very engaged, both for adults and the kids in the group Highly recommend
Very informative tour that takes you to the most famous sites throughout Rome. Our guide was smart and funny. Also very helpful with practical subjects that a tourist would ask such as how to use Subway. I’d suggest doing this tour early in your trip as a nice overview of the city. There’s ALOT to see. This tour makes the overwhelming more manageable.
Isuf is a fantastic tour guide. The tour lasted three hours, which was definitely enough time to enjoy everything and even have a little break for a Tiramisu Affogato. I can recommend this tour with him 100% — he shared so many great tips and interesting information.
Had the best time on this tour, a mix of history and fun. My family loved it and it and our tour guide Isuf was the best. Highly recommend.
Drita’s tour was brilliant, just what we needed when we arrived in Rome, didn’t know where to start and we’re faced with crowds and queues. Drita’s conveyed her knowledge and passion fabulously. Great value for money. Highly recommend.
Joseph was a wonderful guide who delivered lots of info about each of the 10 wonders in a fun and memorable fashion. He paced it well with quick restroom stops or a coffee.
Get ready to walk, learn and laugh! This tour was a great balance of historical knowledge and fun enjoyment!
A faultless, informative and fun tour. So pleased we did the tour on our first day in Rome! Drita was absolutely fantastic!
Drita was exceptional. You could tell she loves Rome! We loved her humor and engagement. She followed up with recommendations for places to eat and visit. Get there early.
What a way to spend three hours learning about the city. From the communication leading up to the tour, to the continued suggestions given after, I had an amazing time. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone. Well worth the cost. For those that are older, be mindful it is a 3 hour tour and there are stairs at the end that will need to be climbed. Nevertheless, the views were worth it! Learn about Rome from a local!
We had a great time with Isuf. We learned a lot, and he was a lot of fun. A great way to get an orientation to some of the key sights of the city. Thank you, Carsten and Jean
If you are searching for an engaging, fun, informative tour of Rome, look no further. Isuf is a great guide with deep knowledge and fun facts of each site. The tour ran very smoothly, the three hours passed by super quickly. He is also very kind and accommodating of our two year old son who was with us in a backpack carrier. Would recommend to any one of his tour!
Absolutely excellent tour, very informative and funny! The pace was just right, I highly recommend Isuf 😉. And at the end he gave all sorts of local recommendations!
Me and my son Muhammad really enjoyed this tour of Rome. Our guide Jospeh was super friendly and funny! But also really informative and I've learned stuff I will always remember. I highly recommend this tour, its excellent value and I would advise you do it first before anything else as it helps to get your bearing of this incredible city.
Joesph created an engaging competition to keep everyone’s interest including our two teens. He made a crowded environment feel intimate just by knowing the specific points of interest and how to manage a crowd.
Brilliant tour — fun, engaging, and full of insight. We started on Oppian Hill and made our way through some of Rome’s biggest landmarks, including the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum, with loads of great commentary along the way. The guide kept it moving at a steady pace without feeling rushed, and mixed in a few lesser-known spots too. A great way to start the trip and get your bearings. Would definitely recommend.
We had a fantastic time on “The Ten Wonders of Rome” tour with our guide Joseph. I didn’t realize it would be a private tour, but Joseph made the experience truly special. He was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly thoughtful—especially with my mom, who’s in her late 70s and hard of hearing. He made adjustments to the route, gave us time to rest, kept us in the shade, and ensured my mom could hear and enjoy everything. The sites were well-chosen, and he even took beautiful photos of us throughout. Highly recommend!
Unfortunately, due to the Italian authorities, this tour needed to be shifted from the morning to the afternoon; which didn’t suit my schedule. The refund was provided quickly by friendly staff who were most apologetic.
Drita was an excellent guide, knowledgeable, great energy and very easy to understand. We saw the "10 Wonders of Rome" but she shared information almost continuously while we were walking between locations. The group was small (7 people) and so we were able to move quickly. She also encouraged picture taking at each location and took the photos. She also sent us a list of recommendations after our tour. While we were in Italy, we did 4 tours, and this was by far our favorite!
Drita was an exceptional tour guide who knew interesting facts and kept it light and fun while being educational. By the end it didn’t even feel like you had been walking for three hours because of how much fun it was to learn about the wonders of Rome. There was even an interactive part to the tour as we learned more about the city and all stops were meaningful. Afterwards, she shared recommendations for our following days in Rome which were extremely helpful!
This walking tour was one of my favorite experiences when we visited Rome. Our guide lsuf, was fantastic - knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He kept my 12-year old boy engaged throughout the entire tour and was helpful and accommodating to other guests with young children. The spots we visited were brought to life by his commentary and pictures. It’s a lot of walking, so be prepared but there is time at each sight and a coffee break at a lovely cafe in the middle. Such a wonderful experience and a perfect way to see Rome.

Me and my wife had an amazing time on this tour! Isuf showed us around Rome in a very fun and interactive way, with many unique anecdotes and cute remarks about sites of the city. We highly recommend using Isuf when visiting Rome!
I truly enjoyed this tour and felt very well informed and still managed to have fun while learning. This was a wonderful experience
The walking tour in Rome was perfect. We saw and learned so much in just a few hours about all the important sites. Our guide was wonderful and took her time to explain every detail and we walked at a nice easy pace. Would highly recommend this tour! :) Lisa & Mary
This was a great tour!! Isuf is such a fantastic tour guide. Knowledgeable, charismatic and funny - he made the walk through Rome so memorable and showed us the main sites plus lots of hidden gems and great recommendations. Don’t miss out on this tour!
Drita is a fantastic guide. She has great people skills and a great sense of humor. She was very thorough and helpful with explaining the history of Rome. As a local herself she had lots of insights to share. I would highly recommend her tour of Rome to anyone looking to explore rome on a great walking tour!! We saw many landmarks in such a short amount of time and learn lots of new things about Rome. She was even kind enough to take pictures of us. Her tour is a good one and I travel alot!
FANTASTIC tour with Joseph! We took this tour on the afternoon we arrived in Rome and it’s the best decision we could have made! We learned so much about Rome’s major sites and thoroughly enjoyed the way Joseph engaged the group and shared information. He left us with many great recommendations that we’ve been using during our visit. HIGHLY recommend!!
I enjoyed exploring Rome during this tour. It was an informative and engaging experience. Thank you so much for an awesome and memorable tour, Drita!
A fantastic way to experience the highlights and ‘must-sees’ of the city centre with a great guide - so informative and helpful. The small group meant we really felt like the experience was tailored to our interests with the facts given and stopping off for a coffee was a lovely treat.
My partner and I had Drita as our guide, and we got incredible lucky that it ended up being a private tour! It was great to see the city with a Roman Native. Drita gave us lots of insights and made space for questions. The tour itself was a perfect introduction to Rome, and of course there are lots of photo opportunities. The affogato was the cherry on top, and after the tour Drita sent a list of recommendations for restaurants and experiences.
Isuf was an amazing guide and host. The tour was very engaging and educational without being too overloaded with information. He gave wonderful advice and recommendations and was very pleasant. Highly recommend this tour to anyone needing a good introduction to Rome!
Hello anybody! My name is Dustin and I came to Italy to visit my mother who relocated to the area over a year ago and while in Florence, I decided to jump on the train and check out Rome, to get a preliminary glimpse of some of the primary reasons this capital city is so notorious and to familiarize myself with the area enough so that in the future when I return, I will have a better idea of what to see in more detail and how to better make use of several days. Since my time was limited to one day, I decided to book a 3 hour tour of the '10 wonders of Rome'. It turned out to be a better decision than I could have imagined. My guide was named Drita (beautiful name to go with a special human being) and she was early to the meet location as promised. She was immediately with a smile and after introductions, we proceeded across the street to a view of the 'Amphitheater' as we began the tour. Although I thought it would have been nice to have other people in the group, it turned out that due to various circumstances, there was only one person on the tour and that was me! It turned out to be a rare blessing, because I got the 'carte blanche' treatment, because Drita takes her work very professionally and I just happened to be able to bend her ear a bit more than would normally be possible. That said, I didn't have to ask many questions as she was full on interesting details, facts, figures and intertwining knowledge that made the 3 hours feel like half that ... she was simply amazing. I can't say enough about how she opened my eyes to much of the general history of Rome, interesting facts about the evolution of each site and how I would have been walking around aimlessly without the expert guidance. Although just seeing the sites in Rome leaves almost anyone in awe, to be walked through the center of Rome in such an engaging and friendly manner, with someone who underlines the nuances, was really priceless. Drita is very knowledgeable. I loved the tour and it truly made my one day in Rome feel fruitious. However, all good things must come to an end. After we parted ways though, she forwarded photos that she had taken for me and an exhaustive list of incredible eateries, coffee houses and other places to visit upon my eventual return ... which I think most would agree, upon relection, is worth as much as the tour cost in the beginning, which I think is more than reasonable to begin with, for what you recieve. I wanted to tip her more than the paltry 10 Euro I had in my passport wallet, so I hope that this absolutely spot-on review makes up for it. She is a wonderful person and that is where any good experience begins. The only recommendation I would have is that she begins to accept Paypal for a larger tip. Also ... be prepared to take notes if you want to remember a vast array of informative details, that only the genius mind can remember. Anyone reading this can probably glean the botton line: Drita was as good as a tour guide can get, engaging, lite hearted and intelligent and not pretentious in any way. I highly recommend. When I come back to Rome, because of my good forturne on Nov. 30th, 2024, I will be able to experience the wonders of ancient Rome in a much more effective manner, preventing the things that really matter from slipping through our fingers. My experience was one of those lost in time, that will be missed. Thank you again Drita!
Joseph is great! He is very informative and fun, and he gave recommendations for places to eat, which was super helpful. He also seems to be a very caring human which makes me happy that I patronized him. Highly recommend this tour :)
