Mr Husband surprised me with the Roman Food Tour because I was sad not to be able to do a food tour in Marseille. I've been on a few food tours, they're a great way to learn a new place. This one knocked it out of the park, thanks to our guide, Michael. Ours was a small group and the phenomenal wine loosened us up enough to socialize, which made the tour even more fun. I think I will dream about luxury Balsamic and fancy cheeses for the rest of my life. But let's get back to Michael. He is the consummate foodie professional - he knows his stuff, he's the perfect amount of entertaining and informative, he caters to people with any type of special need (my husband has a bad knee and the pace was never too fast or hard) and everyone at every establishment was happy to see him. Michael's tour was the absolutely perfect way to end our stay in Rome! Thank you x100!

Giorgio was the BEST host and pasta chef! It was hosted at Il Segreto (restaurant by the Vatican, Via Candia, 71, 00192 Roma) and was way more fun than I counted on. We made tiramisu, pasta and I would consider it a MUST DO -- especially since we needed an AIR CONDITIONED activity while we were adjusting to the Italy time zone. Great value! Great people from all over the world. You will love it!

This tour was a delightful surprise full of an array of wonderful food, a great tour guide in Michael who was very entertaining, warm and knowledgeable. My friends and I had the greatest experience with our tour guide Martha, she was absolutely phenomenal. This tour was more than we expected, so much food wine and even ice cream for dessert at the end of the tour. I highly recommend this tour but you have to ask for Martha.

We got a last minute upgrade to the Food and Wine tour. Emma was absolutely amazing, funny, her narration was engaging and we enjoyed it very much. I recommend to come hungry :))) thank you, it was really great. We definitely recommend it

We did the Prati tour with Luca. It was our first day in Rome and such a good way to start and get some tips for the rest of the trip. The food, wine and description of the regional ingredients was far more than we expected the tour to be. Luca has a great personality and energy and pure English speaking guide although he is born and bred Italian. The tour ended very close to the Vatican City and we walked there after the tour and had a great experience under lights with almost no one there. Would highly recommend this tour. Thank you for a great evening.

Luca was a great tour guide, he was friendly and created a good atmosphere. He had interesting stories and information. The different venues were places we wouldn't have found by ourselves and all gave us great food experiences often with an introduction from the proprietors themselves. A great evening in good company.

Started this at Cafe Nicchi in the Prati area- our host Stephanie was exceptional, knowledgeable and very attentive. She introduced us not only to the wonderful culinary tastes of Rome and its regions- but also the culture and passion of the Italians. Every place we visited was memorable . Had a truly special evening. Highly highly recommend.

I can’t say enough positive things about this tour: it was amazing! Giada was a great guide: knowledgeable and friendly. And the food was top notch. From award-winning pizza to 30-year aged balsamic vinegar to buffalo mozzarella to truffles to perfect pasta to the most delicious cannoli and more! It was so interesting to try food at the market, in cafes and in restaurants. And the wine was plentiful and delicious too, including Prosecco. We definitely ended the tour feeling full and having tried such a variety of Italian food. I’d do it again if we were staying long enough!

This experience was spectacular. I expected to have some small bites of food, instead by the end of the tour I was so full I couldn’t move. 30 year old balsamic, world famous pizza, cured meats, cheeses from different regions of Italy, handmade pasta, authentic gelato. We had wine at all the stops. The group was a good size, it was easy to make friends with others. The guide was friendly and made sure every person was having fun. I highly recommend this experience

We had a wonderful time and our guide was excellent. We were surprised that this tour included only two locations. Both were a great experience. We were exposed to fantastic balsamic vinegar and many other new tastes. We also had tastes of some creative pizzas. It was fun!

Absolutely loved this tour! All the food was amazing….starting with appetizers and prosecco, trying all the wonderful pizza and toppings, amazing pasta meal and ending with gelato. Learned so much and our guide Leila was wonderful also. Come with an appetite!

We stumbled across Dante's looking for an evening meal. We were going to go to Fish Cafe in York Place. We are so glad we did! went back every night after. The food is fresh and very authentic. You have to take your own wine as they don't have a bar at the moment. The staff are incredibly friendly and the service was great. It was almost full both nights with a mix of families and couples with a lovely atmosphere. not grand by any means, but the food is great. They deserve to do well and we will be back. The prices are amazingly reasonable. opening times are lunch (midday and then opening from 5 to 9 pm

The food was tasty and the guide’s stories about it made it more enjoyable. They told me I had to leave halfway during the tour because I hadn’t booked the same package as everyone else, which was a little awkward (probably as much for the tour guide as for me). Maybe there’s somewhere else someone needs to go to book the “full” tour? I think probably for the price you could have a really spectacular meal somewhere in Rome as opposed to some very nice food + good stories about the food, but maybe I’m not quite the target market for this

Alice was a fantastic guide! Very knowledgeable and a joy to spend the afternoon with. She made the experience even better. the food and wine were brilliant. My only complaint --- TOO MUCH FOOD! I guess that is really not a complaint but we were still jet lagged and we left plenty of food on the table. Not because it wasn't delicious, only we were too tired to eat any more!

Great value! We took our family of 8 on this tour. It was broken down into two parts. First we went to La Nicchia Cafe, where we had a sensory tasting of cheeses, bruschettas, and pestos. The descriptions through the food tasting just elevated the whole experience. There was also free flowing Prossecco the whole time! We never knew there was red pesto, we went home with three bottles! Then we went to pizza at Bonci Pizzarium and heard the story of Gabriele (who will be on the upcoming Chefs Table on Netflix), the tour guide picked out a variety of pizzas for us and even brought two bottles of wine with us, so we could have wine with our pizza while standing in the alley. My favorite was the asparagus pizza, I would have never chosen that, so I was very glad we left the choices up to the guide. Great, great experience!

The food tour was a pleasant surprise and load of fun. This is the correct way to experience the delicious cuisine of Rome. The highlight of the tour was the stop at Bonci Pizzarium. Standing outside in rain and experiencing a simple Pizza that was out of this world. Our tour guide for the evening was wonderful and cheerful, Laila. She was really informative; it was obvious that she loved her job, and she was passionate about good Italian food traditions.

Took this tour with my family and we were not disappointed. Lots of great food to eat and our guide Alice was amazing. We got so much food even though we missed the first stop (someone got directions to the end point instead of the start point 🤦‍♀️) but even at that we had more than enough to tasty food to cover 2 meals.

Loved the explanation of the different antipasti. Tasting different styles of pizza was unique, and sampling the different pastas was fun. Our guide, Pablo, was informative and FUN! Answered questions cheerfully & knowledgeablely.

Good value for money and was a fun thing to do! You get to try some great food and drink in a very nice and relaxing atmosphere.

Truly enjoyed learning about balsamic vinegarette and the aging process. Cheeses, and pasta. My favorite was the tiramisu. Dori was a wonderful guide and truly made the trip and adventure.

Exclusive food & wine tasting @La Nicchia Cafe was fantastic! The host, Franschesca, was very knowledgeable and explained in depth the background to all foods and wines tasted. The cafe has a small but homely feel to it, where you're made feel most comfortable. Fantastic Italian cuisine & wine. Highly recommended.

Another reviewer mentioned that this was the best experience in Rome. I would have to agree. Italians are big "foodies". I would not have learned what I did about their culture and traditions without this tasting. I HIGHLY recommend this.
