Very good experience at The Independent Hotel in Rome. Maha at reception deserves a special mention. She is extremely professional, speaks perfect English and genuinely goes out of her way to help with anything you may need. The level of attention and customer service she provides is closer to what I would expect from a five-star hotel. The complimentary quality coffee and water are a nice extra. There is also a large air-conditioned lobby where you can sit comfortably and work, which is very useful if you need some space during the day. And the Sky Bar is exceptional. Definitely a place I would come back to.

This is a fantastic hotel, perfect for exploring Rome. Next door to Termini station so great access to the metro and regional/high speed trains. Rooms are contemporary, spacious and have high quality fittings (including the all important USB charging points). Big comfortable beds and a modern bathroom with a powerful rainfall shower, you can’t ask for more. The best part for the is the rooftop restaurant and cocktail bar - it is absolutely amazing. Wonderful views of Rome, great food and superb cocktails. It’s a brilliant vibe at night, a really buzzing atmosphere, loved it. I have been to Rome many times, and this is our new base for future visits.
We stayed at The Independent Hotel in Rome as a family of four. We stayed for 4 nights and had two rooms: one Junior Suite and one Superior Suite. The hotel is nicely located in the Termini area and is a great base for exploring Rome and visiting many of the main sights. The welcome at reception was warm and friendly. Everything was clearly explained in English, and we also received helpful information about nice things to do and places to visit in the city. The rooms were spacious, clean and very well kept. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was very nice during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and at night it was quiet, with no noise or disturbance. The minibar was also well stocked with cold drinks. The rooms were cleaned properly every day. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace and was very well arranged each morning, with enough choice and friendly service. Checking out went smoothly, and the taxi arranged by the hotel was right on time. All in all, we had a wonderful stay at The Independent Hotel. For us, it was a very good and comfortable hotel, and we would happily recommend it.
It is one of the best hotels in Rome. Helpful, polite, and kind staff. MONIA was excellent, she helped us in check in and check out and the information we needed to go around. The room is big and quite,, bed is comfortable. The location is near Rome main station. The food on the top roof, or near by restaurant is just delicious.
I had a great stay at The Independent Hotel Rome for three nights before heading to Naples. The location is extremely convenient—just a short walk from the main train station, making it easy to get around the city. It’s also well-positioned for accessing many of Rome’s key tourist attractions without hassle. What truly stood out was the service—especially Micha, a Brazilian waitress, who was a highlight of our stay. Her warmth, attentiveness, and helpful recommendations made every breakfast enjoyable. She not only guided us through the menu each morning but also shared great suggestions on places to visit around the city, which we really appreciated. Overall, a comfortable stay in a strategic location, with service that genuinely elevates the experience. Would definitely come back.
