Needs a little fixing up for a 4 star hotel. Shower wouldn't stay a constant temperature, toilet took about 30 seconds to flush anything (modern plumbing systems), and the hallways and outside areas looked a bit rundown. There are about 10-15 stairs in order to get into the hotel. Other than that, everything else was great and the location was very good if you are trying to get to the metro and see the major sites for Rome.

Very quaint and lovely. The room was a little tight, but, the overall charm and amenities were wonderful! The staff was great and the breakfast was some of the best food we had while on our trip. Definitely will be back. Easy access to everything ny walking. Just off the main streets and bert quiet. Everyone was so helpful.
We enjoyed our stay. The room was small but very nice and the latge bathroom was fantastic. Possibly the best shower I have ever had in a hotel. Very roomy with Amazing water pressure and plenty of hot water. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They also offer a bunch of free local activities. The location was PERFECT within walking distance to almost everything. We would stay here again
There is a flight of steep stairs to get into the hotel. The elevator is tiny. The rooms are hot and the bathrooms are weird. Hard to get through the bathroom as the sink sticks so far out. The tub was above knee height so hard to get into for a shower. Location is not bad
We really enjoyed our stay at Britannia Hotel. It’s a beautiful building with a lot of character built in 1800s. Rooms are a bit small but still functioning for two adults. Breakfast buffet was nice and it is served downstairs near the reception. Location is great, walking distance to Colosseum and a lot more.
