San Pietro Grand Suite

This hotel was excellent! The rooms are very modern, comfortable, and (importantly) air conditioned. The location is extremely convenient for walking to Vatican City, and there is a metro stop nearby along with plenty of bus options that take you practically anywhere. Nearby, there are some great places for food, including the restaurant downstairs, the pinza shop just next to the restaurant, the panini bar just past the pinza shop, and the gelateria across the mall. I would describe the area as generally tourist-heavy but still with many locals around, meaning you don't feel like you're in a tourist trap. The people working at the hotel were extremely friendly and accommodating. For example, without wanting to set unrealistic expectations for future guests, the staff were willing and able to check us into our room much earlier in the day than expected. This suited us a lot because we arrived from Australia at about 8AM and it was stinking hot outside, so having access to the space and the air conditioning was a treat. The hotel runs a daily in-room breakfast service, and despite us forgetting to order on one of our days, they took the time to message us on WhatsApp to remind us, ensuring we had a meal ready for the morning.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on Via Ottaviano 6 in Rome. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the Vatican and close to the metro, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

Our family had the most wonderful stay at San Pietro Grand Suite, the perfect base for exploring Rome! The location is absolutely unbeatable – a stone's throw from St. Peter's Basilica and just a 5-minute walk to the Ottaviano metro. What truly made our stay was the hospitality from Silvia and her team, who were incredibly helpful and ensured we settled in perfectly. ​The spacious room was ideal for our family, and the breakfast service was fantastic, with plentiful options to choose from the day before. While some street noise is audible (which is understandable for such a central spot), it didn't detract from our stay.

Excellent location, just a short walk to Vatican City and close to the metro. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We pre-ordered breakfast and it was delivered to our room the night before, which was perfect for our early start. The hotel is in a pedestrian area with lots of shops, restaurants, and cafés nearby
