We recently stayed at the Palazzo delle Pietre for four nights during our first visit to Rome as part of a larger trip that included London, Paris and Corfu. We could not have been more satisfied with our choice of accommodation in Rome and would return without hesitation. It was a bit overwhelming to choose a hotel given Rome’s size and our lack of knowledge of the city, but somehow we made the exact right choice by all measures—comfort, aesthetics, location/convenience, service, tranquility. We selected a one-bedroom apartment that included a full separate living area and kitchen, TWO full bathrooms, and a bedroom. It was like having our own pied-a-terre in the Eternal City, so roomy, filled with all conveniences, gorgeously appointed, and serviced beautifully each day. We especially enjoyed making use of the breakfast items to prepare coffee and a nice first meal of each day—given our extended journey, it gave us a feeling of home and privacy that was welcome at that point in our travels. We took advantage of their concierge service to stock up some, too, and that was a lovely option that meant we did not have to take time away from our sightseeing and relaxing to shop. The Palazzo is a very special and unique property that underwent a loving renovation by masters of design and architecture. There is amazing original art as well as antiquities that were unearthed as part of the renovation that were subsequently incorporated into the new hotel. History is at every turn. We love accommodations that are interesting from a design standpoint, and the Palazzo was rather “beyond” in this regard. Rome seems to be a city with delights and actual inhabitants around every corner, and the neighborhood of the Palazzo is no exception, located short walks from the Pantheon and Trevi Foundation as well as other sights/sites but also very much a neighborhood that includes both residents and tourists alike, with lots of little shops and restaurants and trattorias. Finally, and certainly not least, we cannot say enough about the service of the Palazzo. The team was absolutely amazing, from first communication to the warm farewell we experienced. Thoughtful touches and authentic smiles and interactions abounded. We were especially impressed with Signora Patrizia Castana, a truly special lady, who helped us on many occasions including with a reservation at one of her favorite restaurants. We also appreciated the highly professional manager and his team’s assistance with accommodating us on our departure day when we had a late-day flight. We look forward to returning to what turned out to be the most beautiful city either of us had ever visited (with healthy competition from Paris and Edinburgh) as well as to the perfect oasis from which to experience it!

An exceptional stay at Palazzo Delle Pietre. The interiors are absolutely stunning—beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail, creating a luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere. The staff were outstanding: warm, attentive, and always happy to help, making us feel genuinely looked after throughout our stay. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city and within easy walking distance of the main attractions. A truly memorable experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
My family (9 and 7 yo) and I stayed in the La Corte Family Apartment in June 2026. The accommodations were absolutely incredible -- spotless, quiet, cool, and well decorated. It was the perfect antidote to chaotic Rome. The location is a gem. While only a short walk to the Pantheon, the square is quiet and charming with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars close by. I would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in Rome. 10/10 recommend.
Our stay at Palazzo delle Pietre was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Rome. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everyone we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful, whether it was offering recommendations, answering questions, or making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The property itself is beautiful and the location could not have been better. It was the perfect home base for exploring Rome, with so many incredible restaurants, shops, and historic sites within easy walking distance. Despite being so central, it still felt peaceful and comfortable to come back to at the end of the day. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed, including a kitchen and a patio that made the stay feel even more special. It felt more like having our own little apartment in the heart of Rome than a typical hotel room. The team surprised my husband with a small birthday cake and a handwritten note. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really speaks to the level of care they put into the guest experience. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend Palazzo delle Pietre to anyone visiting Rome. Thank you Patrizia and team!
Palazzo delle Pietre was the perfect place for our recent trip to Rome. It’s not just the perfect location, very close to both Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, or the spectacular quality of the tasteful rooms/suites (filled with beautiful artworks), the service was beyond incredible. The staff was totally attentive, with all services delivered promptly and always with a smile. They were able to advise on, and then get us reservations at, the best restaurants in town. Our room was always perfectly stocked and immaculately clean. The rooftop area was the perfect place to enjoy an evening beverage and game of backgammon. The fitness center has all the most advanced Technogym equipment. The modern steam room was a great refresher after a day of touring. Ours was a long-form stay, a period of weeks, but the Palazzo is also ideal for shorter stays. I’m not a frequent on-line review writer but am doing so in this case because we are so grateful to the owners and staff for all that they did to help make our Rome visit the trip of a lifetime. We HIGHLY recommend!
