Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The reception gave a detailed map of the surrounding area and which buses etc to get. There is a bus stop right outside which was very convenient. The 98 or the 881 will take you as far as the small bus station and from there get the 40 to the main bus station in the city center we did this most days in between our excursions. The hotel is immaculate and the pool was a great added bonus to return to after long days sightseeing. The breakfast was plentiful and had lots of options. I enjoyed everything about this hotel and would love to go back.

Great bus ride just outside of Rome, west side of the Vatican. Lovely and modern hotel and great staff such as Stafani, reception and Zahid & Bruno on bar/ food service. Peaceful garden and pool area. 10 out of 10 My wife and I would come again

We had a pleasant stay at hotel occidental. Clean and nice bedroom and bathroom. It was easy to take a public bus from the stop right outside to head to central rome and Vatican City. Quiet neighbourhood, and there are food options nearby as well that are not so touristy.Overall a good experience!

Everything was excellent apart from the location. If you have car, then its ok. But if you are commuting, you have to consider the location. When you are going to the city, the bus stop is just almost in front of the hotel and bus comes every 10-20minutes. But from the Metro/Bus station going back to the hotel, it was quite difficult to go back as the bus comes very late all the time. Like the whole experience of us going back to the hotel was mad. Literally had to always wait for 40mins or more for the bus going that way. But the hotel itself was great and we had a lovely time staying there for 3 days and 2 nights.
