We stayed for three nights with my husband and baby. To reach our room, we first had to take the elevator to the third floor and then walk down a narrow staircase. It was extremely difficult navigating this with a baby and a stroller. Even before opening the door, realizing that the room was not easily accessible by elevator with our baby and stroller, we immediately contacted customer service to request a room change. They were unable to help as there were no available rooms. We had mentioned we were traveling with a baby when booking and had even requested a crib; under these circumstances, we should have been assigned a more accessible room. Unfortunately, our evening outings during our four-day trip to Rome ended poorly. Normally, when our baby fell asleep in the stroller, we could have simply transferred her to the crib upon returning and continued our evening; however, due to the accessibility issue, the baby woke up every time we returned, her sleep was interrupted, and our holiday became quite unpleasant. The air conditioning worked well, and the room was spacious and functional. The bathrooms—especially the toilets—could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The showerhead was broken and wouldn't stay fixed in the upright position. Overall, I felt the bathrooms needed some minor improvements. The kitchenware could be supplemented a bit more. For instance, we needed a cheese grater, a larger frying pan, and an extra pot. Unfortunately, however, because we were assigned a room that was inaccessible with a baby, our holiday was very uncomfortable.

This hotel is extremely conveniently located within minutes away from the Trevi fountain which we really appreciated. Self check in was seamless, i had no issues entering my room and Numa is extremely response on Whatsapp on any issues / help you need which reassured me during my stay. However, we visited Rome during a heatwave in the middle of summer and while there was air conditioning units in the room- it wasn’t working well enough, the room remained warm our whole stay. Other than that, I have no issues with Numa and will recommend Numa to anyone visiting Rome as a more budget friendly choice!
Biggest pro of this hotel = LOCATION. You can literally walk everywhere, Colosseum, Trevi, all the main spots in just a few minutes. That part was amazing. But the room situation… not great at first. We got a room that wasn’t accessible by elevator, which was a struggle since we had a stroller + toddler. It was also super dark and had a weird smell. We complained and to be fair, the staff handled it well and moved us to another room that was way brighter and better, so points for that. Still, overall the rooms feel pretty outdated. Furniture is old, the floors are just cold tiles (and didn’t feel very clean), no slippers, no TV remote… just small things missing that add up. The shower also leaked water all over the floor. Staff is nice, location is elite, but the rooms definitely need an upgrade. Would stay again for the location, but not for the comfort.
Location location location. Every thing within walking distance. Good proper rooms, spacious and well cared. Remarks: be prepared to walk stairs up and down, the elevator doesn't stop on the 2nd floor.
AVOID this place! The property is unclean and extremely noisy they even provide earplugs, which says it all. There’s an unbearable sewage smell coming from the toilet. Service and support are terrible and unresponsive. The door lock broke, and they had to call a locksmith, leaving us waiting for over 3 hours. To make matters worse, the power went out twice, each time for more than 8 hours. We couldn’t charge our phones or my father’s hearing aid, which caused us to miss our visit to the Vatican City the next day.
