Easy walk from the train station. Lots of cobblestone however. Centrally located to most of what we wanted to see. Would definitely stay there again. Great little breakfast each morning.

We really like our room. It has a king size bed and large bathroom. If I have any con, it would be that they do not have coffee in the room. During our trip in Europe, most hotels have at least had a hot water kettle. They only had one key for the room and were unable or unwilling to make another. It was a big real key to have to carry around. We were with a tour group and others did complain of how small their rooms were. I guess we were lucky. There is a great restaurant across the street too.
Not a bad hotel at all. The rooms are small for the price but they are well appointed and very clean. The bar is very limited in drink selection and closed early on a Friday. The hotel is well located to the termini and then will placed for the Trevi fountain and Colosseum. It's quite accessible for those with mobility and visual needs. Rome in general, less so. Enjoyed our stay and will consider it again in the future.
Hotel dei Borgia is one of the best, if not the best hotels my husband and i have stayed in! From the moment we walked in, it as very nice and those at the front desk were very sweet and helpful. The room was clean and spotless with a modern bathroom. Breakfast is AMAZING here and my husband could not wait for the next morning to more. Would highly recommend
The location of this hotel was great for us, close enough to everything we wanted to see but out of the way of the tourist crowd. The breakfast offered was good, the rooms were clean and the house keeping service was great. The hotel was also close enough to several restaurants. There were however some issues that we encountered with the hotel. 1- On the 2nd day of our stay at the hotel, me and my sister decided to start of our day a little late since we were out late the night before. As we were getting ready, a wait staff from downstairs barges in to our room without knocking, to check on the minibar. He caught us by surprise, and instead of apologizing and returning later, he went ahead and started moving my stuff to get to the mini fridge. I don't have to spell out how unprofessional and rude this was. and in my opinion a great invasion of our privacy. what if we had been in the middle of changing or something just as compromising. 2 - The original plan was for me to stay at this hotel alone, but when the plans changed, I upgraded my room from a single to a double and paid extra for it. I also called the hotel to check if there would be any extra charges applied for adding another person. I reception desk staff informed me there was no worry and that I didn't have to pay anything else, just the upgrade fee. So imagine my surprise when we got there that i was asked to pay another 90 Euros at the time of our check out. It's not about the money as much as about the principle of things. 3- The reception staff were rude and unhelpful. Every request was dealt with after we called 3 or 4 times. Our room's air conditioning wasn't working and it took 3 calls to get someone to come look at it. I needed an extra blanked and had to call twice and then eventually go down to the reception before I received it. There was a brown haired girl at the reception that was sweet and tried her best to help. I wish I remembered her name . Overall the stay was good for us because of the location and the fact that we were out of the hotel 95% of the time. This is the first hotel I have been to that was this unhelpful. For the price they charge you, you can definitely stay at the much better hotel.
