Nice hotel however, would not say 4 star. More 3 star plus. I have been to better well maintained 4 star hotels. Got charged 10 euro per night tourist tax - yet it is not a 5 star hotel. Also got charged 3.50 euro to put my own bought milk in the mini fridge despite having taken nothing out.
The Hotel was very clean and the staff were very kind and helpful. Our room was good, the aircon did work which helped a lot with the heatwave, the bathroom was very clean - however the toilet seat was unattached. The location is good with a bus stop right outside for good links into the city. The breakfast included and the rooftop bar was very nice. We Enjoyed our stay very much
Disappointed with the cleanliness and overall condition of this hotel. The bathroom in our room had visible mold in the tiles and felt unhygienic. The hotel itself looks like it need some love, refurbishment and new towels. They also chose not to turn on the air conditioner this time of year, but we defeated that by simply flipping the breaker on the electrical panel. Besides management, the staff were genuinely brilliant, kind, and helpful throughout and did their best to assist us, which we appreciated. The location of the hotel is excellent.
I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would not recommend it. From the moment I arrived, the service felt disorganized and indifferent. The front desk staff seemed overwhelmed and not particularly interested in helping, which set the tone for the rest of the stay. The room itself was not what was advertised. It was noticeably outdated, with worn furniture and cleanliness issues that should have been addressed before check-in. The bathroom, in particular, was not properly cleaned, and basic amenities were either missing or of very poor quality. Noise was another major problem. Thin walls made it easy to hear everything happening in neighboring rooms and hallways, making it difficult to get any rest. For a place that claims to offer comfort, this was unacceptable. To make matters worse, any attempt to resolve these issues with staff was met with little urgency or concern. It felt like guest satisfaction was not a priority at all. Overall, this stay did not meet even basic expectations. There are far better options available for the price, and I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
The hotel location is excellent. All places are within walking distance. The room was two-story and really spacious and clean. Everything you need was there, slippers, bathrobes and lots of towels of different sizes. The room was quiet and the bed was really comfortable with many pillows. There was also a kettle, coffee and tea making facilities + water. A large opening balcony door. The room has seen life but is very clean and nice. The reception was very helpful and responded quickly, we were able to order a taxi, store luggage and extend check-out. All basic needs were taken care of at breakfast. A very successful hotel experience!
